Quite disappointed with the arcane artifact questline. It's pretty much the same as the discipline artifact one.
I've never seen anything "arcane" at arcane mages other than 4 arcane blasts and arcane missiles, there is nothing more, i doubt this is their true "fantasy" identity, besides that, i was always pushed to play other specs which is frost ofc because fire is a suicide without crit, and i don't like frost, the spec has an amazing mechanism but i just don't like its fantasy. Ofc arcane is godlike with end-gear, but while reaching it...Wow has been like this during the past too, but if we are going for so called "class fantasy" why not "fix" them to the point where i could play my arcane wizard, all the way up to The End. And not throw ice, till i get there. But since you've got to decide the spec you want to follow, and thats because of the artifact this kind of gives me hope. Otherwise i would't bother going for arcane where arcane blasts give you the feeling you're in slow motion or something. And besides can i meet my disc priest friend during artifact acquisition? Other than that you've been doing an magnificent job on order halls and weapon artifact models.
Paragon quitting is reflective of a bigger issue which is simply being ignored. They don't have a deep enough pool of quality players (albeit restricted to Finnish, but that's their prerogative) to pull from.I hazard a guess that this is more indicative of a larger issue - as the subscriber numbers continue to fall, so the pool becomes shallow and we see less and less teams like Paragon. Restricting to 20 instead of having it flexible merely hastens the end...
I like that some of these staves have the capability to be hat racks.
"As noted in my earlier post in the thread, the genesis of this change was an observation that the Water Strider was being used disproportionately frequently, which led to a genuine concern on our part that the mechanical advantage of water-walking was stomping on the cosmetic choice of a player’s favorite mount. This is different from other utility mounts like the Traveler’s Mammoth or Expedition Yak, which are rarely used for any prolonged period of time or as a default mount; those are summoned specifically for the use of their vendors and then dismissed."Where do they dream up this utter nonsense? They act like we can only put one mount on our action bars. I have the water strider, the vendor mammoth and a couple other flavor of the month mounts on my action bars. I'm not always on my strider or mammoth, I only use them when I need to. Sheesh. Glad they reversed the decision though. Sometimes their logic, followed by their hamfisted explanations just boggle my mind. All they need to do is admit it was stupid idea and that they changed their mind.
