Water Striders: They are aware of the issue. That's good. But this attempted fix was hamfisted and doomed to failure. So try an alternative that satisfies:If you have unlocked either water strider, offer a questline that ultimately rewards the water-walking function to all of your mounts. While hanging around your poke-stable, the water strider taught the other mounts the secret of water walking. Or you force-fed them water walking elixirs. Or your mammoth is a shaman. There's your lore.
I can't believe they went back on the mounts because people don't know there's a waterwalking legendary. They're playing it too safe with their subscribers.

Yeah it would certainly be nice to bench up to 10 people depending on what boss you're facing to get the ideal amount of players for each boss even when you have bosses on farm, whether it be 10, 13, 19 or whatever. Also, really looking forward to seeing guilds release world first 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 man kills for every boss in a 10 boss raid tier. /s The hardest difficulty of raiding has to allow a static amount of players otherwise one of the modes will still be considered "the hardest" (old 25 man was what counted, nobody ever gave a crap about the 10 man race.) Sure it's sad that paragon breaks up with one of the reasons being difficulty getting an optimal 20 man Finnish speaking roster, but the raiding scene itself is dying at the moment along with wow's bleeding subscriber numbers and blaming static player amounts for breaking up guilds right now is in my opinion is incorrect.
I miss the good ole days of 10man guilds. Less dependance on so many people showing up. Less competition on HPS and DPS. Less chance of bringing 6-7 healers in a big grp of 20-25 to where only absorb healers win :P Best Wishes Paragon
Vale Paragon!I had seen their name for a long time on leader boards. One of the best ever WoW raiders. Forever "All Time Top Ten".The Finnish requirement is a really tough ask but they remained true to their origins right to the last raid call.Strong and proud to the end is the way to go.
I've always considered Paragon to be the best WoW raiding guild. Not because of their constant world first kills, because they have been a constantly top guild with such a extreme language requirement. Good luck to them all in future endeavors.

RE: water striders, this is the fastest I recall seeing Blizz back down on a bad design decision. Did they sincerely think "cosmetic uber alles"? Utility wins hands down every time, and if you want to restore cosmetic value to utility choices, disconnect the two: something like transmog, but for mounts. (Or, in the reverse direction, allow water walking on any mount for all classes.)RE: Paragon, damn. Well, it was cool watching them from down here in the pits of casual-dom. Surely, if I had any WoW ambition, I'd strive for something like what they had. I'm going to refrain from blaming Blizzard for this, because (A) duh, obvious, and (B) plenty of others already covering that ground. But best of luck in the future, former-Paragon members.
So the terrible Mythic raiding requirements have killed a top tier guild, well that should say everything about it.

Water walking mounts are only important in two cases;1. Where flying is not enabled2. Low level characters that can't fly yet.Disabling low level characters from having access to their account-wide mount specifically made for the purpose of crossing water was a hilariously short-sighted move that was prompted by almost nothing.And no, 'fishing legendary' does not justify it, because it only end game characters are going to have access to that.
