Hell yeah!
Just for KR?
As a 25m raider, I'd love to see 10m gear be a lower ilvl but I highly doubt this will go live on US/EU realms.
PLEASE SWEET BABY JESUS BRING THIS TO 'MERICA!
I don't think higher item level or separate lockouts is the answer... though I agree that something should be done to "promote" 25-man raids. Maybe more drops from bosses so it's easier to obtain gear? Maybe turn 25-man to 20-man? I don't know, but I'm sure something else could be done.
Does this mean the item levels for 25man raiding will be higher than it is currently for non-KR realms? If so, wouldn't that give korean guilds an advantage when it comes to future world first races?
Seems rather strange, in order to fix the decline of 25 man raiding guilds, they are reverting back to the WotLK system. The reason for that was because people felt obligated to run both versions each week to get the best chance at loot.If they were to ever re-implement this in US/EU realms, doesn't that just bring back that issue? Or is this no longer an issue in their view?I personally liked the shared lockout of 10/25 mans because I'm one of those people who wants the best possible gear I can get, and therefor felt I had to run both versions. Obviously that's on me, but apparently it was a problem for a lot of people so....
As a 25 man raider, I don't see a problem with 10 man raids getting the same gear as us. Sometimes, the 10 man version is actually harder. I'd just like some achievements for running 25 man versions, like how it was before.
they already drop more loot, in 25m you get 4 pieces while in 10m you get 2
How about scrap both 10 and 25 mand , and make raids best size possible , 15 man ? Karazhan was 15 man , and it was best raid size possible . With current number of classes t chose from its a best compromise to fit all classes in the raid . Its middle between 10 and 25 , sort of , and by making 1 raid size for all you make everyone equal . End of discussion about who got better chances of clearing content .About coming back to Wrath style raiding , it will only cause problems , guilds will start regrouping and falling apart , cause everyone will be requiered to gear up in 10s , to then progress in to 25s for better ilvl . That means making 2-3 10 man groups , with 4-6 tanks , 6-9 healers , and less dps than is required for 25 man raid , leaving several tanks and dps without raiding spot in the end , or tanks and healers having to use their dps offspecs for 25 man raiding .I was in guild like that back in ICC days , it didn't end well , with arguments and problems all over the place .Eventually guild fell apart , mostly cause of that issue .
I don't think making the ilvls higher for 25 man is beneficial. The entire point of having the same gear in each instance was to give people the option of raid size without sacrificing progression. Ten man raiding shouldn't be thought of as an "easier" way to go. It's often more difficult depending on the mechanics of the boss.
Ugh ilvl changes. So once again 10 man raiders will be forced into 25 mans for the better loot.I don't get it, if people don't want to do 25 mans for their own merit, why not just kill it off already?I'd rather it tracked seperate achievements, though the raid achievements is a mess to navigate as it is.
