oohhh i love that.i love that storytelling goes *!@#.quitting the game proves me right about how lazy the blizzard is and how much the quality has dropped in general.as i said before, lore, quality, gameplay, content diversity. the end with legion expthese are wow 2.0 start with bfa.
Pause at 2:20 for ahegao Sylvanas

Well she will be a lot easier to kill now, and thanos story is a bit cookie cutter.
The Jailer wanting to re-write reality could really be the kind of curveball the World of Warcraft needs right now. WoW 2 ? Old world revamp ? Who knows, but at least that sounds exciting.
I find it really annoying to see how long it takes for the plot to move forward. We still barely know anything and now we have to wait months for the rest of this expansion's story? I love playing wow, mainly because of my guild, but the plot really feels stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread, to quote Bilbo...
We can safely assume where the Jailer is heading. he says as much, the cartel book says as much. the Sepulcher of the First Ones. he wants to remake reality. pretty sure thats where one could do that. Syl warning "Dont let him reach the..."
Knew the book with all those Folk Stories would actually be used as a hint of whats to come for Sylvanus.
its silly how many people are so mad at this
The cinematic is ok, Jailers model is good and I'm actually excited to see what he's going to do next. I also kinda like that the Jailer isn't that kind of villain who tells his whole plan and then gets shocked when it fails. The mystery, it's catchy. Now, for the rant:People are getting mad left and right, threatening to unsub and all is pretty amusing. Like,1. not a soul is going to miss you2. they think they would be capable to write something "better", when most of them barely read a book. The story isn't bad because the writers have no clue on what they are doing, but because you fabricated a side story in your head and genuinely thought that's the direction it should/would go. You are mad because you didn't get your way, which makes you a child.Calm down and wait for the next chapter. The story is good, not award winning good, those are pretty hard to achieve.
“..they will serve ME!” Says Sylvanas at the end of the Three Sisters comic. Funny how she gets so triggered by the word serve, guess it doesn’t count for people serving her,
Wish somewhat they kept Zooval's look of that old bearded titan looking guy in chain he who mostly become the model of the true form of primus I guess.I thought atleast he would change somewhat more then just like an mawsworn armortype.Nonetheless guess he is going after our titan soul now and reforms Azeroth? Time might have skipped as hinted in various places so we might return to a different Azeroth we left.Hope the Horde and Alliance had atleast a little peace during that time, our Azeroth has not had time to repopulate when facing the jailor and his armies if not with aid of timeskip.Still wondered how the people of Azeroth managed to stay alive in the past, they faced crazy gods, dragons, burning legion alternate worlds threats, mad titan and themselves factionwise. We should not have the numbers left to tackle these threats.
So this pretty much confirms that Zovaal himself was the leader of the Pantheon of Death (and pretty much Death itself) before being overthrown by the other Eternals and exiled into the Maw for his treachery.
Seems a bit daft that, considering how much Sylvanas has thrown away and destroyed on this path, one word is enough to get her to throw it all away when the Jailer LOOKS like he's heading to the mcguffin that she was trying to get him to anyway. She either looks stupidly naive or hilariously triggered if she's so easily thrown off from her goal or this wasn't her goal to begin with. I miss when she was just a forsaken faction leader that did nefarious things in the shadows, ever since she's been in the limelight she's just looked silly. The choice to put her there has damaged her and the forsaken irreparably imo.But hey, at least the Jailer looks pretty badass now.
one question begs an anwser - where the hell are the other eternal ones? why didn't they help? something like that is happening and they sit idly in their zones ...
People have made the comment that instead of just saying Blizzard writing is trash, give constructive feedback.OK.I just watched the 9.1 Raid ending cinematic over and over. Just some thoughts.1. Zoval looked badass, however, he should have instead of looking like a cool Maw NPC, he should have looked like the 'leaked' Jailor art.2. Zoval art in this cinematic, with his chest hole still there, with kinda like a ripped open almost wooden-like look, just made me instantly think of the Drust?3. The exact moment the Jailor gets the Arbiter sigil, burst of light and Zovaal is revealed, look closely, Sylvannas actually looks genuinely 'suprised' by what she see's, as if she was expecting to see something different, as if he portrayed himself as something different. Honestly, freeze that moment, before he even speaks, it seems as though what he transforms into is completely unexpected.4. When she composes herself after the 'shock' of seeing the 'true' Zovaal, she weirdly says 'we already have what we need' like she doesn't want him to kill anyone? The story is so wonky... She has no problem killing anyone on Azeroth and sending them to the Maw, or killing anyone in the Shadowlands, which Blizz has already confirmed means you are "perma-dead", which is why the Ardenweld cinematic at launch was so gut-wrenching because we know Ursoc is 'perma-dead'... so she has NO problem ending anyone it seems at any time, EXCEPT Anduin for some reason, and now in this cinematic, Thrall, Jaina and Bolvar?5. Zovaal says "too long I have endured the Maker's design'. He seems to only care about how he feels about the system, not how it works for anyone else. Just seems like a pissed off kid mad at his parents.6. Zovaal says he will 'forge a new reality'. I have long speculated that Azeroth is NOT a Titan World Soul, but the Literal Soul of Reality. With what we know now, it is most likely the 'sepulchur' or whatever that word is. Azeroth is most likely a dead First One, or more specifically, a First One World Soul. Kinda like the Lovecraft thing, that dreams reality. 7. Strangely, as Zovaal states he will forge a new reality, Slyvannas weirdly looks over at Anduin with this weird gaze, like, Anduin, are you going to do something? I am wondering if the cinematic where Anduin and Sylvannas, the 'Good-bye' thing with the Varian Locket, they had some plan, and Sylannas and Anduin knew that if Slyvannas didn't make him into a Death Knight, the Jailor would, so the plan has something to do with the locket meaning he is NOT 100% in the Jailor's control, but for some reason he doesn't act, BUT drops the locket before entering the portal to leave a 'hint' that he is 'still with us' like Rid#$%^ says to Keira "Are you still with me Keira"? in the Chronicles of Rid@#$%. Anduin may know that they couldn't do anything at that moment and he is smarter than her, and goes along knowing that they won't be able to do $%^& in the moment, but Slyvannas is triggered by the words 'Serve' and *!@#s @#$% up?8... Damn, these comments are getting longer LOL.9. Zovaal clearly states that the new reality, all will 'serve me'. Not set everyone free like she has been *!@#$ing about forever now. Clearly shows she is stupid, or for sometime has known and has been on the side trying to get Anduin help her stop him (which seems like something Blizz would do! trying to then make her seem not stupid and playing 4D chess) which I don't think is the case, but I wouldn't put it past them.10. This is not me @#$%-showing Blizzard for this, but come on, the similarities between LotR themes (remember N'Zoth end raid cinematic looked just like the tower falling in Return of the King), the similarities between Sauron etc... Also, how basically, Zovaal is Thanos, (5 infinity stones = 5 Sigils, once he gets them, he can reset the universe).11. Ion saying that Zovaal/Jailor is like Titan++ power. I just don't see it. Honestly. He doesn't seem to be Titan++ unless he has the 5 sigils. I mean, if he was so damn powerful, he wouldn't need the other Eternal One's sigils. He seems to be extremely cunning, which is very powerful, but he was defeated the first time by the other Eternal Ones before, and I would gather to say, they were able to defeat him, take his Sigil and place it in the Arbiter, since she would not have existed before getting the Jailor's sigil, that wouldn't make sense. Also, they clearly say that the Primus lead them to victory, so his sibling's already defeated him once. I am sure he is the most powerful and could beat each one, but combined they were clearly more powerful or we would not be in the expansion we are in.12. Blizzard clearly stated that Frostmourne only 'split' a soul if the mortal was killed in anger. We know that Arthas was frustrated by the resistance Slyvannas put up, so yeah, Arthas prob killed her in anger. Arthas seemed pretty pragmatic about most of the killing he did. He didn't seem to kill his father in anger, he just did it. He didn't seem to kill Uther in anger, irritated as hell at him, but it never was portrayed as anger. Then we get to the part of Shadowlands where so many lore characters souls are kept in Torgast, but it was never portrayed as Arthas killing all these people in anger. So where are all the other souls that Frostmourne took? When it shattered, it seemed to release all the souls? Doesn't make sense.13. Yeah, Zovall gave her back her missing soul fragment, and most likely didn't kill her because he kinda knew that was something she has wanted forever basically. When you know someone just wants there suffering to end, and you give them back their 'good-side' and then they have the ability to 'feel' all the pain when their whole soul realizes just what they have done, that would be worse than 'perma-dead' killing her. Great punishment for the betrayal. Also, he lets Jaina, Thrall and Bolvar go counting on the them wanting to take out there 'frustration' on her. Also, he is so arrogant, that he doesn't even consider letting her live could possibly bite him in the ass, they really make Zovall seem super arrogant and super stupid, while also portraying him as being super cunning and playing some 'long-game' while locked up for eons, very weird writing of a character.14. So weird that they decided to make her 'trigger' being 'I will never serve' which also makes her look like a complete fool and insanely stupid, because as a player, we know she has been 'serving' the Jailor all this time, whether she thought she was playing 4D chess or not, she basically was on-board with the Jailors plans, and if we are to believe Ion when he said the Jailor was like Titan++ power, how in any stretch of the imagination could any character in WoW think that they were 'working with' the Jailor, not 'for' the Jailor. That just doesn't make narrative sense. Also, we had a saying in the military... "To Lead is to Serve", so her hang-up with serving is so stupid because any actual leader understands that everyone at every level serves someone, even if it is not in the subordinate sense of serving, you still serve someone or something, even if it is an idea... Zovaal serves the idea that he is going to control everything and remake reality, he is driven by that belief and therefore serves that belief and that drives him. Even if you serve yourself, you are still just a victim to y
