Very good.
I don't see this not being a gripe point
Not gonna lie, this is heavily disappointing. I was looking forward to raid specific weapon models, especially with Castle Nathria looking so good.
I'm really hoping these are optional. Or at the very least, all visual variants per covenant are also obtained from purchasing one. So if I'm stuck as a Night Fae DK at least my Paladin alt who's Kyrian has a cool weapon.
I just want it to stop.
Oh man that necrolord staff. Undead version of dragonwrath
First they made cloth, mail, leather and plate tiers (no more specific class) now Mythic tier is the same as LFR,NM,HC,PVP (except for the glow...Uhhhhh) and weapons are the same for LFR,NM and HC, only change color in Mythic...Sorry but I don't like this Y_Y
I don't really like that they're doubling down on choosing between mog and theme or mechanics. It's also especially frustrating as someone who likes mixing and matching mog over full sets. Granted, I don't foresee myself using most of the appearances from this expansion anyway, but I'm worried this might be trend they set for the future.Though, then again, I imagine once they get over this whole idea, it's something they will loosen up the restrictions on in 3-4 years once the mechanics aspect of the choice become pointless... possibly even later in the expansion.
This is actually really cool.I'm excited to see more things baked into SL that give us a reason to play alts and run them through things. Would like to see if there's some confirmation whether or not I can, for instance, pick up an Ardenweald bow on my Night Fae hunter and then use that appearance as a 'mog on my Venthyr hunter?(All the wands though...*sadface for my casters*)
This should make people think deeply about what covenant to follow, if you can stand looking at it or not.
They need to stop making wands look like maces.
This is bad because the raid armor is themed of revendreth and the weapons would only match for revendreth..... wouldn't it make more sense for the raid armor to be different for each covenant too or if you unlock the weapon appearence on one covenant can you xmog on another or are the weapon appearences after you unlock also covenant locked?
you're handing in weapon tokens from bosses to your covenant so you have control over what weapon types you get. So of course you'd get weapons that match your covenant.
So LFR looks the exact same as Normal which looks the exact same as Heroic? Why? What’s the point?
