i like the choice of trinket example
Lmao my warlock is 213 and I'm spamming 8s now.
i have a bad feeling about this system, obviously can't tell yet but... doesn't look too promising unless it's acc wide. why can't you just revert m+ to what it was and make it drop normal relevant loot instead of doing keys for nothing but weekly chest... that would be better than trying to implement a whole new system.

i like the change with the valor system , i don't agree with having so many upgrade levels , pvp goes from 200->207->213->220 on reasonable amounts of honors , f.e if u wanna upgrade a trinket from 184 u need about 4.8k valor and thats a lot
I feel the same about the Blood-Spattered Scale. I've seen the trinket drop exactly one time, on a +2, and never again. I just want to be able to upgrade the one I've already got, rather than having to go back in and target farm DoS until it drops again.
This system is a real wonder. I rarely say that about anything related to Blizzard lately but I must admit, they nailed it this time.It doesn't fix everything, of course, but the inner system they implemented with the return of Valor points will really smooth out the gearing progress for everybody and specially those who focus on M+ content (I voluntary exclude all the little brat who wanted a free gearing pass with no time investement). The only thing I wish they would have add is another layer if you time every dungeon at +20 for 226 gear. So the system itself becomes a complete path gearing for M+ players. Boosting someone to complete all 8 M+ on time is practically impossible and would require insane amount of gold so boosting is not an issue on it own and getting boosted through pvp would still remain the easy way to go, only flaw I see in it but that can be fixed later.Any complaint about this new system is absolutely misplaced and not justified in any way of form. Once again it doesn't fix everything but it's a tool that was really needed and well shaped. So pretty good job Blizzard on this.
- Completely pointless for all existing mains- 99% useless for all existing toonsThe only chars and people that can benefit from this system are fresh alts which have zero gear and are running high-level m+ with their mates.I watched this feature unfold with great anticipation but it will not change the current system or problems AT ALL. Complete and utter disappointment.
The costs are way too high for a single rank. This is time-gated currency to upgrade, not like endlessly farmable Honor to upgrade conquest-bought pieces. There are obviously so many other problems with this terrible system, but this is easily the biggest issue Blizzard forced on us to prevent the non-issue that is players farming low keys for drops - why stop people playing how they want to play?
Remove the cap and its all goooooood why always the timegated stuff in this game is just @#$%ing the players always
Valor system is fineLocking them behind Achievement: BS
