what a HUGE let down. OF course they had to put this thing in. Instead of you know, putting those big cooldowns limited by 1 per floor or something like that. No, they had to put a timer.....
Yes of course, bring back a universally disliked feature from Mythic dungeons, a timer. Great idea, this surely won't draw everyone away.Also please stop defending all of this stuff with the argument of "It's just an Alpha/Beta, they'll remove it!" They won't if that's how you approach it. Call it out, let them know it's bad and shouldn't be added.
Not a bad idea but imo, they need to make the rest areas all around the level and while in those rest areas your Cooldown freeze so you can’t abuse it
Guys, relax, 1% every minute is not gonna kill you if you play normally. This is just to prevent people from bloodlusting every pull, not to punish those taking their time. One floor is, what, 5 minutes? Maybe less? 6 floors is 30% until it resets? It's fine.Plus, this is the alpha, going full "worst expansion ever" is a bit early, don't you think?
I agree that this can ruin Torghast, what was fun for me was the difficulty of lvl 25, where things are deadly and you have to take your time to slowly pick off and kill targets. People have been taking hours to clear those, these debuffs will make this impossible and it will be another rushfest Removed

The hell with this. The one saving grace with Torghast was it wasn't going to be timed, forcing you to go super fast and take huge pulls, letting you play the way you want to play. Now that's gone.When they said they were going to add incentives not to wait on cooldowns for every pull, I can't imagine ANYONE anticipated a stacking debuff every 30 to 60 freaking seconds! C'mon.
I mean, most roguelikes have a mechanic that makes it get harder and harder as time goes on. But pressuring people to finish the floor like this? I dunno if it's the right wat.
I definitely think a soft timer is a good thing, prevent simply afking at each pack until lust and CDs are up, however I think a reward for hitting higher levels faster would be better than a ramping punishment as you spend time on a level. Shift to positive reinforcement instead of negative reinforcement.
No.. please no more timer stuff. By all means content that can be challenging, but I find timers too much.The rush, rush, rush things needs to go.
