Please dont be like BFA release and get like +30 Maw of souls / BRH etc
So a person who did +20, +15 +16, +5 to help alts will get +5 mythic+ cache? While someone who just did once +6 dungeon will receive better rewards?Nice options Blizz xD
ok THIS IS ACTUALLY A GOOD THING. This rewards players who put more time and effort into the game. You only did 1 dungeon last week? you get a random item. You did 15? you get to choose between 3. makes perfect sense for once. every progression system in the game should be like that in my opinion.
After reading the article and comments I would suggest a change to the M+ chests:Base the reward of the first chest on your highest keystone level of the week. Base the additional reward choices on the total amount of keystone levels. Similar to conquest points, it doesn't tell you to do 5 battlegrounds and 10 arenas, it gives you points per activity. Same can be applied for raid rewards, let mythic bosses give the most points and heroic/normal less. For example for M+:2nd choice unlocks after 75 levels (comparable to 5x 15 key or 8x 10 key).3rd choice unlocks after 150 levels (comparable to 10x 15 key or 15x 10 key).To make it even more fluid (based on current ilvl):1st unlock after doing a +15 gives 1x 475. This decides your further progress.2nd unlock is dynamic, it starts with weekly +2 gear and gradually increases to +15 gear.3rd unlock starts after unlocking the 2nd option. Again starts by giving you +2 gear and up to +15 gear.Higher reward choices the more you fill the bar by doing a variety of keystone levels. This way if you do for example 7x +15's you'll have the choice between 2x 475 and 1x 455 give or take. Then the last choice is not completely wasted if you didn't fill the entire barIf you do only a +10 as highest key, then your rewards are locked to a maximum of 455 gear, regardless of the points you earned, but you can have a choice between three 455 items at the end of the week if the bar is entirely filled. For raid it would be similar, after doing a few mythic and heroic bosses, the 3rd choice could be a 460 item.
PLEASE READ AND COPY/PASTE99% of you all are arguing about something wrong because you didn't read/understand.PLEASE READ CAREFULLY :1) The TABLE LOOT is based on your lowest % keys. For exemple IF YOU DO x10 FREEHOLD (mythic 0 or whatever) and x5 UNDERROT (mythic +4838282 or whatever) you will get items most likely from FREEHOLD TABLE LOOT.2) AS MENTIONED IN STRINGS, ITEM LEVEL REWARD IS BASED ON HIGHER KEY. So if you do x14 mythic 0 and x1 mythic +15 you will get item level rewards based on +15 key u completed.SO, if you guys do x14 mythic 0 Freehold and x1 Mythic +15 Underrot to keep the given example, you will get choices based MOST LIKELY ON FREEHOLD TABLE LOOT but you will get item level BASED ON HIGHEST KEY.That's it. (Btw i hope this is correct cause i would hide for years otherwise)Édit : it is a pretty good system, only thing stupid is the amont required (15 dungeons). But it is so damn good because in addition to get more choices you can target items in a certain measure !
Sounds good, makes sense, guess this interface will encourage me to do more stuffYeah, I guess 15 dungeons is a bit too many, many players will probably just farm low keys and hate it. I would make it 3/6/9 dungeons instead, maybe. You know, after a couple of months you'll be able to defeat 10 bosses in 2-3 hours, while 15 dungeons will take like 2-3 times longer.
15 dungeons for 3rd item is little bit too much
In my opinion it is cool, if you do one 15+ dungeon, you get random M15 loot like now in BfA. If you done more 15+, you get more options. I only see pluses here.
So, people gave the feedback that the weekly chest pve should be something that aggregate things that you would do in pve, instead of only focusing on M+ runs. And some sort of bad luck protection to not loot the same thing/gear slot many weeks in a row. They did this instead? The raid path will be boring, as not every tier gets 10+ bosses, also when they finally add a skip mechanic, we shouldn't use it because of the chest. The mythic plus path instead of 1-3-5 or 1-5-10, it's an obnoxious 1-5-15.Man... that's bad...
