I mean currencies were always useless in the next patch, weren't they? Stacking them was never worth.
They should also put Conduit Upgrades and Socket Items to Honor and Valor vendors. This way they would allow players to gain these upgrades by doing content that they enjoy the most and give another purpose to those currencies after you buy all of your gear.World content (rares, dailies etc.) is unfortunately designed in such a way that everybody is able to complete it with ease. And I mean everybody, even some grandma that just got her first laptop as a gift from her grandson. Therefore it quickly becomes dull for most players, which leads to it being perceived as a boring mandatory chore.
Account wide or we know for a fact they’re playing us for fools. At this point they should know this is a basic requirement.
Upgrade a random conduit....fun doing that on a druid with double (or more) as many conduits compared to a DH......at least make it spec-spesific, not like now...geeeez.
This should not go live. Conduit upgrades and sockets should come from end game activities like raiding/m+/rated pvp. Not some garbage timegated outdoor grind. Scrap this crap.Right now m+ only drops normal ilvl conduits, really? It least make M+ drop heroic raid ilvl conduits. Raids only drop some of conduits, not all of them, this must be fixed too.
Jesus its like blizzard doesn't respect our time anymore, 9.2 this rep will be worthless and we will have another venari rep to grind, sorry blizzard but this is the final nail in the coffin for some players, clearly something big in the wow team needs to change.
Nice. It's good for those that like grinding. And everyone else can continue to ignore the Maw in it's entirety, because the rewards are minimal.
You for sure count as a "highend player" when we're almost 5 months into the content and you dont have CE yet :DDDD
5% raid DPS may be significant, but it is by far not required to kill any boss. Unless you're pushing WF (which the OP I tend to believe is not), the sockets are not required to down any of the bosses in Mythic (and even then, I don't think Ve'nari sockets were available during the race, but I honestly can't remember). This is also setting aside the fact that most people do not dip a toe into Mythic. iirc, around 1% of WoW's playerbase does, which means for that 1%, sure, farming the sockets and conduits is a huge benefit, but by no means mandatory. Some other posters on this topic mentioned feeling like they are letting down their raid if they don't have sockets and maxed conduits. The motivation for doing this content to get the sockets and conduits is, in this case, not some draconian requirement, but a social expectation felt upon oneself. These are two entirely different things, and the latter is certainly not Blizzard's fault, unless the call is for sockets to be outright removed so that a social expectation does not exist to farm them. But even then, the social expectation would probably shift to something like rotational or mechanics mistakes, and not sockets.
I have a question, if I already have a socket on my 235 legendary, what will happen to it now? Will the socket disappear if I upgrade the item further?
