It was the beginning, WoW had been out for perhaps two months. Guilds have been farming Stratholme, Blackrock Depths/Spire and Scholomance. I don't even recall MC being availble at this time.Being the co-guild founder of the guild "Veni Vidi Vici" with a friend of mine we ventured off to seek possible allies to bump our rank. We had already received comments that the majority of us were good players but our numbers were very small. My co-founder, Lavex, found another guild much like our own, called "Saga". We were both a group of players that new each other IRL.After having long and hard political discussions with the other guild leader, Cheeky (who new deciding what name to keep could take so long?), the time to merge was at hand. It turned out to be a great descision, our name seemed to be growing more and more as we moved forward. People became very interested and most of all had a great time on vent with the entire guild.A couple months past by and most of us became very close. The guild leader of Saga actually introduced his sister, whom also enjoyed playing MMO's. He eventually talked her into creating a character and ended up joining the guild.Ofcourse at this point, with the guild being a giant sausagefest, it was tough to get a chance to talk to and get to know this mysterious female gamer. I actually ended up sitting in a corner and my usual shy self. Turns out she liked shy guys. She has been my "most epic loot drop ever" for almost four (married for three) years now. She has been carrying our next epic drop for about 22 weeks now. I hear it takes about 9 months for these things to get implemented.
The most epic thing to happen to me was when I finally, finally got my Pet Bombling schematic. I was so patient, going and racking up what I could afford in Membership dues. hehe Oh Pet bombling...You are so prized!
Epic moment would have to be when WoW was first released and you actually were able to step into the Warcraft lore, seeing Thrall, What happened to Sylvanas and just going down the lore line. Even more so in Northrend as Arthas' story is very interesting and sad. The lore of Warcraft is epic itself and being able to see what happened between WC3 to now..it's awesome.
i guess my closest epic moment was in un'goro farming the http://www.cuckhead.com/?item=2244 for a few hours. had a mob targeted, i alt tabbed out before i killed it, tabbed back in as someone else kills it then it drops..... gg QQ
definitely have to be when I finally got Headmaster's Charge to drop in scholo, int buff was so ftw back then
Abit cheesy I guess but the most epic event that has happened to me was when a Gnome warrior ran into the Tauren starting zone and pwned everything.. I mean everything. A few badder taurens came, around 70 and tried to take him down but he was so mean and crushed them. A small gnome crushed the entire Tauren race.. before afternon tee
