The most epic piece of loot:Was...the Black War bear (http://www.cuckhead.com/?item=38576) I got from the Wowhead event,Man was I lucky.
The most epic loot ive ever gotten was my tier 1 bracers because they completed my 8/8 set. The reason this moment was epic was because in that raid there was another shaman who needed them to complete the set, a good friend of mine. Sometime during trash he went afk for whatever reason and the bracers just happened to drop. It was amazing timing. I ended up completing my set without conflict because my friend was afk, however what made it more epic was the fact that about an hour later in the raid, another pair dropped! My friend and i both got the bracers and completed the set on the same day.
One of my more memorable moments was an epic fail. I was working brewfest dailies to get up enough coin to get the brew of the month started. I fall short needing just one more day to obtain enough coins. Unfortunately the following day Brewfest was over and I fell short......by 1 coin (yes I said one *cry). Better luck next year I suppose. Though a bear mount would lessen the blow lol
I'm sure there have been at least more than a couple of stories that match up to mine... But here goes. I am sure most people who have been playing WoW since 2006 are familiar with the World of Roguecraft videos that made a big deal out of how ubalanced Rogues were compaired to any other class (with a couple of exceptions). Well more specifically I would like to point out one line that was said during one of the episodes that was said by the main Warlock, Mute. At least I think it was Mute. That's right if you haven't figured it out by now my story takes place way back pre Burning Crusade, with a level 60 Night Elf Hunter...He said "I ran Scholomance over 200 times. And this is before the recent nerf to Scholomance. This was back when an avarage run took 3 hours." This was all for the Headmaster's Charge, his epic staff drop. I thought that this was just extremely bad luck.Well then I entered the nightmare that was Scholomance and began to run the instance for my Dungeon Set 1 head piece. Fotunately I didn't spend nearly as much time completing Scholomance due to the nerfs that had taken place by the time I got my hunter to 60. I started off the instance with an average of about an hour to and hour and a half per fun depending on the group. I figured that seems how the drop rate is about 1 in 10 that I would have it in 15 or so runs and then move on to the next dungeon set piece.Well soon enough I knocked the instance down to about 20-30 minutes per run. Not bad in my opinion. Anyways, I ran the instance until I began off tanking and in some cases main tank. I had every pull memorized and if you couldn't keep up with my pulls, you either booted me out of the group, or I would replace you. it was probably about 60 runs later that I finally saw my head piece drop. Even though it was only a blue piece it was priceless to me. It wasn't an epic drop, more of an epic pain. Every time I wanted to run that stinking instance it took about 30 minutes to run and an hour to put a group together. For a game that can literally consume years of your life if you are poor with time management, the feeling of getting that head piece was awesome to me. I mean I ran Onyxia, Molten Core, and Black Wing Lair several times and had very little luck with winning any of my tier sets. It feels good to win something that you did very little work for in a 20-40 man raid. But it feels way better when you know that you know you had to work for your drop in some cases.
Most epic loot I've ever gotten was a 42 epic axe in Maraudon. Dropped from a big green maggot my friend and I just decided to kill. Lucky us that we like the screw around, eh?
The most epic loot drop I've ever gotten was my Halberd of Desolation. It was my guilds first night on Naj and when he fell I was the lucky hunter to get it. We never got him to drop another one and all the other hunters were #$%^ed at me.
I've never looted an epic. My best battle was probably back in Deadmines when I rolled that Ally toon. Man, that was a mistake.
Because the four times I had a chance for the ZA bear mount i lost the rolls and the one time I won the raid leader gave it to himself.
the most epic itom i have ever had was the hammer of judgement
