6 months of running Molten Core weekly, and being in 7/8 Earthfury, Golemagg finally drops Earthfury vestments. It was certainly the loudest I ever got after looting something.

Once I won two tier 6 pieces in one run.It was simply awesome.
My most epic moment was a fight. I was on my 73 warrior, Protection Spec, no pvp gear, Wrath of The Lich King expansion, doing some questing. Along my quests, I got one that forced me into pvp until I abandoned/completed the quest. I go to the objective and start killing mobs. Suddenly, a 76 Orc Warrior Arms spec in full Season 2 pvp gear attacks me. He has a Blood Elf Hunter, level 71 assisting him with random quest greens from Northrend. The warrior charges me and the hunter concussive shots me. The warrior runs around me, spamming multiple attacks while the hunter's pet is wailing on me. No matter which angle I fight at, I'm not able to block all the damage. I focus on the warrior while spamming Thunderclap, Devastate (with the glyph that applies 2 sunder armors at once), and Shockwave with the occasional Revenge and Shield Slam. Through sheer luck, I crit almost all the time against the warrior. His health dwindles faster than he can damage me, despite being higher level and better geared. After three minutes of the fight, the warrior tries to run and uses intimidating shout. I use my human racial, and charge him. I use a Shield Slam, and kill him. I turn to the hunter's pet and hit it hard. The pet dies after 10 seconds, and I charge the hunter. The hunter drops a snake trap (I notice when tons of snakes poison me), and the hunter does all they can to escape. However, I stun the hunter with Shockwave and Revenge, and deal enough regular damage to kill her. I finish the fight with about 50 honor and 2 honor kills with about 30% of my health intact. As I eat to heal, I see the warrior revive. He attempts to engage me when I got to about 87% health. I take him down rather fast with revenge and Shockwave having amazing critical strikes. I continue to quest with my health as-is, and complete it after a few minutes. I sat behind some rocks and started to eat as my health was around 40%, and the warrior charges me with full health and rage (potions?). Another 1v1 with me handicapped, yet I was able to kill him near flawlessly; he kept missing and being blocked.Ended with 106 honor and the 5 gold reward from the quest I was doing. Also, the mobs I was grinding dropped several greens and gold, along with a random first aid manual. How timely since I needed to heal at that time.
After spending a good hour trying to kill an elite on my rogue, Varlam <Hand of Arugal>, (), and dieing a few times to either him or angsty 80 horde, I got frustrated and decided to just try to pickpocket him.You receive loot: A Steamy Romance Novel: Forbidden Lovehttp://www.cuckhead.com/?item=37467
Malfurion's Blessed Bulwark, back when BWL was still relatively new. I was a stubbornly feral druid before it was an accepted spec (and in a solid raiding guild, thank you) and I saw that item on Allakhazam before anyone even knew where it dropped and for quite some time it came to symbolize end-game raiding to me and it quite made my day when I finally got it.
Iblis, Blade of the Fallen Seraph
A couple of days ago, I was healing Nexus for my first Wrath heroic and I was a bit nervous. So we clear the whole thing in one go, no one dies, I feel great about my healz and then, a War Mace of Unrequited Love drops (which was my first epic from Northrend), I roll 100 need for that, then a frozen orb drops and I roll 100 greed for that. Best. Day. Evar.
My "epic" loot drop/moment/whatever would have to be the first time I did Karazhan with my guild. I started playing WoW late, and my mage was only 58 when Burning Crusade released, so I never did old-world raids. After reaching 70 and getting into the raid scene with my friends, the Harbinger Bands dropped one night and I won the roll. This being the first "omg purplz" I had ever received, it was more than a little exciting (we were all there at one point). I doubt I'll ever forget that, as it was my first taste of the "top gear" content in WoW, though the experience with my friends will always remain more important than loot. And that's my epic moment.
The most epic loot I've ever gotten so far in WotLK would have to be my blue drake from malygos :)(And I rolled a 99 lol)
I would have to say that my most epic loot was way back when AV took hours and hours and you could still get BOE world drops off the NPCs there. I was out grinding mobs hoping something nice would drop and was pretty frustrated since I had made it to 60 and had done some instances but had never seen a BOE blue or epic drop ever, so I decided to try out AV instead. I was just having fun looting armor scraps and meat when I saw a blue name pop up in the loot box. I couldn't believe it. Plated Fist of Hakoo was on one of the guards. I was so surprised I hesitated for a second to read the stats and someone else came up and looted it. I was so upset I almost just logged out, but we had finally managed to make it a bit closer to the alliance base after a 4 hour game and I decided to stay. I was exploring the area a bit and got knocked off my mount by a guard, so I killed it and poof. Pumpkin Bag. I didn't even know they existed until I got one. It was my first 16 slotter. =)
