RIP Surrender to Madness. They just nerfed one of the best Talent ever created.
Ack. This expansion has sent a number of classes I enjoyed playing into the inactive files. Spending all your time corpserunning loses its appeal quickly. And the new mechanic doesn't allow you to level your weaker characters and take them through at a slightly more survivable level. And weirdly it seems like my heavy armor wearers are the ones that I just can't seem to keep alive. The alts I have been able to play and enjoy are my clothies and my leather wearers. But it appears that will be changing in this update. Crap.This whole expansion feels like a huge slog. Some places just aren't worth the hassle of endlessly fighting groups of mobs just to get to some world quest that rewards a bit of gold. This one definitely feels like a good expansion to just level your main, grind that endless pathfinder rep and wait until flying is available to make levelling the rest bearable. A lot of stuff changed up in Legion and I am not going to say I hate it, but not really loving it either. Nomi sort of sums up the entire expansion. Dozens of piles of charcoal for every recipe upgrade, and none of it gives xp.
Can someone tell me if that's a massive nerf for mage or massive buff. I can't tell...
Reading these makes me realize how crap DK defensive CDs are. At least for frost / unholy. Makes me realize how crap it is in general :( I always seem to fall in love with poopy specs.
You clearly don't PvP as a survival hunter. You have insane damage as survival, but you need to know how to use every skill you have.People that say survival hunters are weak are people that didn't bother to learn how to play one. I don't know about PvE, but in PvP I love playing as surv, that's why I didn't even bother with the other two specs.

Enhancement Shaman getting nerfs, thanks Blizzard, we are only allowed to do a good dps now at static boss, if we have to do mechanics to move we lose like 50-70k more than others of our real dps, these changes will not help at all to fight with another high dps class.

Are the Talent Calculators that are linked in each of the class regions updated for the PTR changes? I clicked the Fire Mage Talent and Artifact Weapon calculators and both were reflecting "Live" servers, not the new changes.(I assume that they are intended to reflect the new changes, else why link them, right?)
OK, I did a little bit more exploring, I think the link is referencing the live version of the Calculators, not pointing to the ptr sub-domain.
Instead of making the competing talents worthwhile picks, they just went and made Sidewinders and Barrage worse? Isn't that the exact opposite of what Blizz said they'd do?

Got to say this is a big let down so far. There are a lot of specs/ classes that need some quality of life improvements and diversity badly. Feral's for example are basically forced into taking Savage roar and blood talons making for a very clunky play style, the other options are just flat out inferior in terms of power. Unholy really should get blood boil back in some form and it should be swapped out for epidemic if that talent is chosen. Most of the talent choices for blood and unholy don't feel that interesting and for blood in particular there are too few abilities and cool downs to reliably mix in. Personally I would love to see Soul reaper return to how it originally was. Talents like Obliteration sound pretty interesting, but it just doesn't come together and work well enough. There are often times rows with talents that don't seem to have the same theme for example the lvl 30 ones for druid outside of guardian has mobility options and then a survival cool down tossed in. Last Profession rank 3s are frankly a disaster this time around and show no signs of improving, the fact they are just mass grinding + complete rng isn't fun. There should be objective based goals to get these, even if they are difficult that is still much better than the current system. The pet battles being locked on world quests is awful for the achievements related to them, you should be able to fight as many trainers as you want in a day, if that means not giving a reward for it thats fine but currently the system for it is not good. I am sure there are lots more issues like the ones I mentioned, but I don't play enough other classes to give viable feedback
TBH this is my first time posting here. As a hunter player for so many years, maybe it's time to not play it anymore.
