Maybe these swords work like Anathema and Benediction. We saw in the Legion quests for the artifact ending in the DK class hall change Ashbringer into something similar. Could be setting up the more in-depth lore for the life and death shadow and light teamed xpac coming at some point.
Why are people thinking this is the real Ashbringer? Everyone knows my paladin has the real one.
Sweet jesus that look awesome
its not the ashbringer...a replica? maybea sword based off the ashbringer? maybebut the original ashbringer story ended with the sword of sargeras, nothing more, nothing less
Maybe since he used the blade beyond the point where they shared the same name, this sword made from a chunk of naaru literally became an extension of his soul. If Fordring is in the Shadowlands and he too has an Ashbringer, I will consider this true.
Yep great spoiler in the title...Also, the Ashbringer can easily be Replicated. It was made by Magni. And Maldraxxas has a Forge that can replicate weapons. This isn't THE ASHBRINGER, but a kind of Ashbringer. However, we don't know who the true Ashbringer is.
Why people are whinging saying but the ashbringer is on azeroth he can't have that! Ever heard of a forge? He easily could have made a version of the ashbringer. Hell we could replicate frostmourne in shadowlands if blizz let us
Alex is looking cool as hell.
why the hell is he even in Maldraxxus? Bastion seems like a much better fit for him seems like people are completely boned in the after life in the Warcraft universe.
I don't care about the lore, I don't care HOW did he get it, I don't even care if it's the real one or replica. All I care about is, how to get it for my Pally!
Oooh baby frost dk monk colors. X=
*grabby hands*Nice tidbit him having a weapon forged in his originals likeness, assuming not retcon shenanigans.
gets hard to give a &*!@ about the lore when blizzard retcons everything every expansion
