I have a couple guildies from another country that I became close with. We did a lot of stuff over the years as a group, and when I finished my studies, I took a vacation and visited them. It was a really fun experience meeting them irl and I hope to meet them again someday.
I remember when the MTV played the music videos and music related shows.I met E a while ago, she is cool and has lots of alts! Ultraxion always targeted her.
There was this one guy. At first, he was pretty anti-social; never really saying much. But we got along. Turns out we both called the same city home. We'd hang out in the bar for hours, just doing nothing. People were always messing with him for some reason. He was always at that same bar, though. I think it's because he kept losing his keys there. I was away for a while; and when I came back, things had really changed. He got into a fight with some guys and beat the snot out of them. I had never seen him like that. We started hanging out less and less. Work took me overseas for a while, and I heard he got arrested in the street.I'm fuzzy on the story; but I hear he was rallying against corruption in the government. I hope things go back the way they were. I miss my old friend, Gamon.
I met Ed over five years ago when I first started playing World of Warcraft, and we've been guild-mates and friends online ever since. Over the years, I've grown to appreciate his friendship online, and no morning would be complete without sitting down with a cup of coffee, and that heartwarming ear-con chime that announces your friends as they log on. Although we've never met in person, my online friendship with Ed is a very real and heartfelt part of life. Cheers to you Ed! /salute
I met a friend while leveling shamans in the barrens, back in the starting days of classic. Although we live in different sides of our country, we managed to meet several times and we are still friends, almost 10 years later!
My WoWfriends know me and care for me and spend more time with me than most of my RL friends. My GM offered to pay for Weigh*!@#chers for me so he would have someone to do it with. A fellow officer offered for me to come have thanksgiving with her family. The people who play this game are some of the best human beings alive.
No friendship, just give me the amountheheheh
Closing this now--will post winners within the next few days! You can still apply to be on Catfish though :)
