Yes, World First guild noobs are definitely scouring websites in order to find Weak Auras and definitely not clever enough to make their own, and they were definitely all posting their Weak Auras on this website while they were planning out their strategies. People worried about this area still imagining Method is just a bunch of guys doing World Firsts. They will be buying up peripherals to all sorts of games. They're a business now, not a raiding guild.
Their new mods will insta delete profiles of elvui which looks like their streamers "sub only" ui :)For example - naowh ui - only for subs, almost exactly the same ui on wago - 100k downloads just because someone made it for free. Maybe bad example but... everything can happen now after they put their hands on wago.
People seem to have a hard time understanding that wago is just a repository for WAs, they don't make anything and there's absolutely nothing stopping you from putting your private WAs elsewhere which no doubt the top guilds were doing already. All these conspiracy lunatics in the comments...big yikes. Method also has dedicated people who make WAs for them, and one of the most popular addons out there, MDT, is made by the same people.Method is gonna take world first again next expansion regardless of a WA website or not and overall they still got most world firsts this expansion, the only thing they lost to was the broken corruption system that was added last tier.
In my opinion, World first races are starting to interfiere with the average player base, and money will keep letting them do it. Sometimes these guilds empty entire servers auctions without caring about the others players just because of their WFR, and another bunch of similar moves. Now with the huge amount of money and power they own, they even buy popular websites that thousands of players use, again just for their WFR.
Before people going crazy see it as when Microsoft got github :P
Kinda left wondering how this acquisition will play out now after the collapse of Method, if at all
Method Organization bought them out, so they can't technically leave even if they want to, unless they reach an agreement with Sco/Method Management, with most if not all the competetive teams left and the raid team will be leaving and re-branding under Scripe's new guild, idk what will happen to wago now.
