I'm pretty sure no one doing World First-level content is sharing Weak Auras on Wago anyways, so it's not like that would be a competitive advantage for them. They're making and sharing them in their own private Discord/Dropbox/Pastebin servers.
Some of the comments are amusing considering Method tried to buy Limit's Weak Aura guy and not notify Limit till the day the WF race began.
The question is why the hell method is interested in buying a wa repository in the first hand ? What will they benefit from doing that ?
I don't think this empowers Method's chances at World Firsts. It seems more like an advertisement move and a way to get more money through partneships and adds.
Ah yes, more chances to embed streams for artificial views.
now the previous author just need to make wago2 and everyone will be happy (except from method lol)
Some of these comments are very funny to read. People read the name "Method" and immediately go on a rant about world first race and Method (the guild) buying their way in.Here is a news flash, thottbot and allakhazam are owned by wowhead which is owned by Zam/Fanbyte Network.
Looks like Method is the Monsanto of WoW's conspiracy theorists. No one seriously participating in the world first race is going to care about random WA's uploaded to wago.
I don't think I'm that hardcore enough for this to understand nor for this to affect me in any major way. For those who are though, is this a bad thing or a good thing?
Embrace, extend, and extinguish.
I don't see the issue with Method having ownership of Wago. Lets be honest, if there happens to be anything they purposely do to inhibit others, Blizzard will probably jump in to ruin their fun.Removed
