lmao these comments are great. so many upset karens ranting and crying. xD
And her punishment for committing genocide is to live together with her lover for eternity, that sounds like american justice to me!
how is it "blind loyalty" when she told him everything about the Jailer and such? that's not blind loyalty. and making Nathanos literally nothing of a character but about his "my queen my love" is awful writing for a character. You can have characters in love in stories, but if you make the love the only thing about the character then the character is not interesting or well written. Then again, he is a self-insert so I guess we can't really expect actual characterisation for him. iBut let's imagine if that moment in the burning of teldrassil, when Nathanos hesitated at the command of Sylvanas to genocide the night elves, was taken further and we saw how Nathanos didn't agree with it. You could lead that and tie it into his mistrust of the Jailer, maybe how even after Sylvanas says she's going ahead, Nathanos makes his own plans as backups and such for her despite their disagreement... there was story potential there. So imagine if Nathanos was not a self-insert simp and instead a character with his own personality/goals/ideas and so on, i.e. he was an actual character. People who like Nathanos cause of his snark and attitude, that's such surface level liking of a character and basically says how there it pretty much nothing to Nathanos but "my queen" and his snark, that's all he is.
I always felt like the two of them were being strangled by a red string, and this just confirms it. At the very least, Golden's writing is nice.
