WHATFKINEVER feel free to reduce damage to 80%,that leggo still never drop GG for drop rate.,every ID HC clear, some myth down for funny troll bad luck protection and guess what...NADA
Ok so this legendary has multiple challenges, in terms of implementation, aquisition, and execution.Context: this tier favours 2mins burst speccs, due to the encounter design. Thats just the way it is nothing we can do about it.All the agility speccs started this tier "overtuned". Some tier bonuses were nerfed to force the aquisition of the next tier that were so prominent in the damage profile and fights of the previous tier. The mindset of the strength users this tier was, "lets wait for the leggo and see if the delta between these damage dealers gets closer by the time we have it". By the time the Leggo was "released" all the theorycrafting pointed at a very grim scenario. The new leggo didnt compensate the delta between agility and strength speccs. Blizzard tweeked the leggo but not enough to even touch the top tier melee classes. Now comes to the point of aquisition: there are 2 ways to release such an item. Either by a long quest chain shadowmourne style. Or RNG Roll everyweek. The first one has been debated alot lately but those who where active raiders at the time for sure remember the guild poaching frenzy of players who sucked guild resources just get invited to other guilds with better progress. This system for sure sucks in current WoW were there is way more fluidity in between guilds and players. Not to mention the artificial waiting list generated in between legendary crafting players depending on blizzard balancing out the speccs that use such an item. The other system is the current one... Well, although it renders the colective approach of the aquisition useless, individually is unable to provide the necessary satisfaction of deep commitment. Meaning "How Long do I have to Farm this in order to be close to 100% sure that I can aquire it, and will be still current content when I do so in the worse case scenario?". Regardless of the tunning, I think players that kill Fyrakk HC every week should have a better clear view of expectancy of this drop than just some useless token that simply work as a place holder for the bad roll. Any item that requires alot of mental effort to deal with the amount of time "lost" in order to achieve it, must be presented in a more clear way. There is no perfect system in the end, but to engage in content out of frustration, give zero pleasure and fun. Ive seen boosted characters that have the legendary equipped... And although these dont make even an average, the fact they exist should automatically offset the other part of the range were dedicated players that never stopped playing the game start to wonder if they will have even the chance to craft the weapon before the next tier...A middle ground must be striken here... not too easy but not too hard...
glad to know i main ret and get to see a tank get the wep thanks blizzard worst leggo they have done in a long time just go back to legion style or make leggos with a quest to do them cause ya this does not feel good to see offspecs getting the axe
Another reset and no axe again.. But naturally some offspec healer got it.Feelsgood.
Update:- 9th week of a 6/9MM guild who cleared HC every week- We got our first legendary- It dropped to our holy palaGood week
Clicking the axe often seems to be a dps loss. I guess they decided to focus more damage into the on-use stun*channel instead of the dots to make it more satisfying to press.I have some mixed feelings about this legendary... Cons:- RNG drop feels bad and unrewarding.- The quests to equip it have a gold cost that varies between 'inappropriate' and '$%£^ing astronomical' depending on your local market.- The quests to equip it were also very janky and buggy.- Clicking the on-use is often a DPS loss.- Clicking the on-use seems to attract every pool of bad in a 10 mile radius to instead be dropped right on my head while I'm unable to move.Pros:+ Looks cool+ Everyone is jealous
