thank God school is over for me.But now I have to go to work.I feel sorry that I cant always be there for my guild. But thre is hope for the weekends!
Simple. I'll sleep when I'm dead.
I have to agree with this one. I teach/coach at a university and find I just do not have the time during the school year to be as active as I would like. My weekends are taken up by speech tournaments and evenings are usually dedicated to practice or prepwork for the next day. I found I had more time when I was at a real job (because believe me this is not the real world, that's why I am here! ;-), because when you go home -- for the most part--you are home and pretty much free (outside of y'know family and other bothers ;-)
I go to work whenever and just try and get runs when not at work. Considering I am the MT for my guild I normaly say I won't be on till _____ and they wait for me or Pug a MT which don't normaly end well.
I'm spec'd balance so I have no troubles weighing out my playtime evenly between work, school, and WoW.
The best thing, which may be hard, is to be organized. When I was in college I knew what I had to do and when do to it. I played baseball in college which made it even more difficult. But I knew that during the day I had class and practice/games. I knew there were a few hours in between classes that I could go straight to the library (because we all know if you take a detour, you'll never end up there) I would put the necessary time to study/do homework. I'm in a raiding guild that raids 2-3 times a week on set days. So I knew that tuesday and wednesday nights I raided. My friends knew this too. Some would try to argue that I was a nerd/geek or whatever, maybe I am.. but I told them, hey, I only play the game 6-9 hours a week and I don't play on weekends, because hey, its the weekend! I was able to keep a social life, do well in school and still down content in warcraft. And it all came down to time management. Most things can be done, it's sticking with the plan that is difficult. Sure, it might make your day feel 'robotic'. But if there's many things to juggle, the only way to stay sane is by being organzied.
I'm brilliant but lazy :P and my job allows me a certain degree of freedom because 60% of it is done in my home. I only truly have to go to the office 3 times per week.that being said, when I do get to work I get it done in a snap, and have tons of free time to do what I want :P
