Actually I do most of my homework and studying at night, that is after midnight. This way I don't feel the need of playing WoW because I tend to think there is nobody I know online. I usually play WoW only to have fun with my friends, so the general tactic is: no friends online -> no WoW. And this is basically true late at night. Also I tend to prefer night time because everything is so quite and serene and you aren't annoyed by all kinds of noise coming from those pesky neighbours.
1st it's grades, then it's GPAs, next its sucking up to your boss, different parts of life :DAs for Skyfire, can't give you any advice, cos I'm more or less like you, here's my motto even, "Maximum achievement, minimum efforts" sweet eh? Doesn't always work though, you'll see your grades skydive like my GPA did from time to time hahahahaha!

A lot of will power is good to have. I usually study on free afternoons and weekends, but if I really need to study and I start thinking about WoW this iswhat I do:A - I turn on ITunes and study with some music to distractB - I think to myself: I'll study for X hours or till hour Y then i'll play WoW, but doing it focused.
for me the ideal situation would be work or school > WoW ... but really it just does not work out like that lol. like i completely blame me playing WoW instead of studying for accounting final and failing my test..but of course my teacher let me retake and i got a good grade but i really procrastinate when it comes to school work and WoW.
My parents made me quit WoW for the school year, even though i get straight A's with WoW and am in all AP courses my junior year of high school. So, I manage my time by never doing my homework until i absolutely must, usually at school, and never really studying, even for AP exams, which I know I did fantastic on. I do this just to prove to my parents how much time I have for WoW. My method hasn't helped me at all yet in getting WoW back, but at least I know I have time for it if I ever wanted to deceive my parents and start WoW again without them knowing ;)
I usually manage to get my homework done at school. If not, I find time for homework and also balance gaming at the same time.
The way i do it is : chores>hitting the gym/golf practice>whatever else comes up>WoWHowever i don't join any groups before 18:30, 19:00 or 19:30, just in case something pops up that needs to be done.By doing it like this saves me from saying " brb, got some chores to do" or something like that, and making the others wait for me, and wont kill the mood or moral of the group.
My ability to balance depends entirely on what I'm doing. Right now I'm writing the background to a story, and thus interested I haven't played wow in almost four days. However, if I'm doing my normal class schedule, I'm usually bored at the end of the day, but uninterested in writing, so I play wow more. The only planning involved is whether or not I can make the raid times. If I can't, there's not too much to worry about. So when balancing my life with wow, Interesting things>WoW.
World of Warcraft has always been a very addicting game for me. So I have a hard time completing homework when I get home because I immediately get on WoW. When I head back to school, I use a study hall in order to get my homework done and keep my grades up. Its not exactly a good formula for success.Next year when I head to college, I'll have to do a lot of regulating of when I can play WoW. I can't play as much or at all so that I can actually get homework done and not be distracted.
