People before "Blizzard keeps automating everything, ruining WoW by making things too fast and anti social. They need to remove this stuff to make people have to talk to each other to play the game. "People now "Blizzard ruined the game by slowing things down instead of letting us go as fast and convenient as we were. Clearly this is from a business standpoint not based on the same thing we've been whining about since Wrath"I bet if they removed LFR all the people who whine day in and out about it would be first in line to whine about how its removal killed the game, smfh.
REMOVING Options is always going to hurt the game. Removing the option to auto accept, the option to remove shadows, making leveling slow and other options is actually stupid! Devs do those kind of &*!@ and they blame the tools to make ppl get over it faster. I like the game so much that I have 1 alt for each class in the max level! Now imagine how much time it took me to complete dark shore in 12 chars. Its like 60 quests every !@#$ing day. And I did that $%^& for about 10 days. I really dont get it. Devs nowdays dont give a $%^& about the players. They want to sell the game and they wanna chose how the ^&*! you play it. It happens in blizzard, with Path of Exile(another game that im always playing) and pretty much every single game. Its not like the quests are brilliant. Its just: Kill this or loot that or fill this bar! New and unique quests are very rare. They are and will always be boring.Im not a game dev but i've been playing games since forever. I dont know why they do those retarded decisions but it pisses me off so much cus Im the one who is getting %^&*ed over and over. At least take me to a *!@#ing fancy dinner if you wanna !@#$ me like that.
Mob tagging is a sticky issue for me. I enjoy it but the reasoning here against LFG is disheartening. Having a hunter run in and target everything hit it and keep walking letting a less mobile warrior to slowly slog at one mob is frustrating. The hunter rounds up their 12 mobs, book, done, and the less mobile or tangential classes have to pick at one mob at a time. For me that is no different than a player grouping up to leech quest credit from others. Honestly this roots back to questing and scaling that was done in late Legion. This truly strange need to slow down leveling keeps festering into new content. I dont agree with how it was done, have tried to live with it. But, it keeps coming up. Until you abandon the concept of a quest objective being X # of Y things (kills, pelts, heads, whatever) then it will always be an issue. So, a better way to level than quests may be in order. Give exploration weight, true weight. So, if you want to beat through 12 mobs/sneak past 12 guards/AE blast a hit of 12 guards all lead to getting your toon to Point A from Point B. Everyone gets there their own way but in the end the arrival is the experience grant. This would play well with the need to restrict flying in starting zones of xpacs. My two bits.
Crying about freeloaders is idiotic. Look, freeloaders are terrible people, but at the end of the day, their presence in no way makes your time doing a WQ longer. In fact, if they were active players outside of your group, they could potentially make your time doing a WQ longer. The nice thing about world quest group finder and other mods similar to it was that the only thing they could do was make completing a quest faster, not slower. Manually creating groups for bite sized content is almost certainly going to make doing the content slower, and if I want to group to socialize (since it clearly isn't for efficiency), I can do that in the Goldshire inn. As for content that requires a large group/raid...again...who in the world was complaining about "freeloaders" while killing a world boss/invasion boss/etc. All Ion's answer did was say, "we hate people doing content too fast". Considering how much of Legion was time gated, that shouldn't be a surprise, I suppose.
I don't get the QQ. Blizz didn't remove the group finding function, they didn't remove the small eye next to join a party using the group finder for a 'hard' quest or wq. They simply removed the auto-accept functionality so you can't walk into a quest area, auto-join an existing party and get credit while doing nothing. If you are a squishy healer, you will now need to use their tool or create a party request. Other people will click the eye as well, or look for your party to kill the mob. And while you're waiting, a tank comes by, grabs your mob (multi-tap is a thing), you throw your longest distance dps spell and you got credit! Mobs are going to be scaling up starting with tomorrow's expansion. So don't fret yourself too much about some mythic legion raider coming in and one-shotting the quest objective.
Sigh... the expansion is about to launch and instead of feeling excited I just feel like quitting before they figure out how to give even more disappointments. I've played for 10 years. I know I can't quit this addiction but holy cow do I wish there were better options :/ I'm on a dead server.. hooray for me being extra punished..
Interesting to see that the player housing idea is still kicking around. As someone who still visits his Draenor garrison, and is still disappointed by how good it could have been I'm glad that the idea is at least being talked about.
Can we somehow force their devs to play their own game? Because it is clear as day they don't even have one character in the game... Sure I will type every WQ's title when I want to do those with other players in an MMO. The answer for destroying LFG is a joke. Stop lying! You just don't want to buy new servers to handle the load because that would cost money, ohhh geeeeeeeeeez.Well here is my answer: I will skip BfA, no money from me! I haven't bought the exp. because I knew the real changes come at the last week.
creating account just to reply this onebullsh*t, WQ is a grindfest and WQGF make it less grindfest. we are already wasting our time with traveling don't increase it anymore
The world quest group finder addon was pure leeching and laziness. It made those that used it see others as expendables, as if there is not a real person playing that character.

They might be right about LFG. But I don't think this will change anything really. Ultimately people will be looking for a fastest way to get their rewards. Will see how it turns out...
Wow, no wonder there's such a disconnect between me and the complainers on this subject. Although still in disagreement with them, I actually gave them too much credit.I've been playing the game the way it was meant to be played, actually doing the solo WQs myself, with the odd bit of assistance from other players doing the WQ themselves. I assumed the complaints made at least a halfway decent point, talking about the harder quests where you need a group....But no, easily finding groups for that is still in (I've done it myself; I know it still works). So apparently, for the complainers, it really is about doing what Blizzard trying to discourage, players doing next to nothing while the quest is done for you. I suddenly have a lot less sympathy for you.
Because my guildmates are interested in dailies for stuff that they are fed up with long ago... (same as me but there are few things for alts I need)
