least they could do by now would be giving us more talenttrees so we could tell them that this is way to early and they should 100% delay this alpha test of an "expansion"...
The future has taken root in the present. It is done.
Meow. Idk why the releases of the talent trees are so slow. if they dont have prototypes of every spec by now. What else is lacking. Can they really release this xpac in 2022. im very sceptical
Do they typically do NDAs for the Alpha? I'm sure they do for the Friends and Family alpha, but my memory is hazy if they do it for the broader alpha they do after F&F.
I'm excited and worried at the same time. We'll see what they've been doing soon. It can only end in relief or doom.
The expansion is most likely going to be delayed. Everyone get your shocked faces out and over and done with and just be happy it will be delayed. They will make an announcement like they did for Warcraft Reforged and push it out a month or two. Enough complaining about something you haven’t seen yet to know how far along it is or isn’t.
There isn't much to test. New talent trees and new profession system and....... well that's it. Not sure what everyone is all worked up about or is expecting. The talent trees themselves do need testing but the amount of testing in DragonFlight is far less then Shadowlands. There is no Covenants, Soulbinds, Torghast, Conduits, Legendary Powers to test for each class and spec.In general this is not a system heavy expansion and the talent trees are something that looks like are expecting to be around as long or longer then the previous talent tree systems and other then that there is not much to really test and have to tweak.
All talent trees get released next week, alpha starts the week after.
Sure would be nice to have more trees and progression sets of 2-3 rather than dumping all and them getting a dilution of focused feedback during a short timeframe.Alpha tomorrow or next week. I would hope that if they intend to launch this year, they do it at latest possible (without stepping on winter holiday). So basically the same pacing of prepatch event start (not prepatch duration); expansion launch and then raid/season/m+ and later mythic raid starting like what we got for SL. Only in this circumstance I would prefer only 4 total weeks of prepatch (and 2 week event) or even just 2 weeks of event only.
