The new anvil system is a net progress for crafters, but I was also hoping they get rid of the raid bosses loots completely, or at least tie the progression to something more like simply kill X M+ bosses / raid bosses.I fully understand that 420 rings should be reserved for mythic raiders, but having an easier access to the top level anvils would have made crafting funnier. I hope those reagents won't be a pain in the ass for you to farm, because 200 isn't a small amount. And I don't even want to talk about the fact that those new rings are BoP, because I won't even be able to send them to my toons. Being stuck with crafting 310 is so much fun... So, for I and certainly most of my fellow JCers, will go to sleep and wait for the next expac to get excited again, only crafting new gems once in a while. And can't help but think this new system is a step in the right direction, but a wasted opportunity to make crafting really fun again for the majority of players out there.
I was very pumped to read about no-raid mats to make gear to find out.... you still need 220xraid drops to make the "station" to make the gear. I see, so the system hasn't changed much at all, you need to raid to make BoP epic gear that you probably don't need if you raid.
Obviously by mistake our lives were made too easy with re-rolls for stats we wanted, spending bazillion gold or hundreds of hours farming "plain" mats needed to scrap-and-recraft an item to make it what was needed WAS NOT ENOUGH, so now, to make proof RNG is a megalomaniac's retardation less evident, they will take our expulsoms... screw you Blizz. I ignored your retarded excuse for crafteds at launch, but with changes in 8.1.5 they became marginally viable only because the chance to finetune stats. Now they're going back to useless again. The idea of forcing us to re-level the professions... no, just no.And I can't help but unhappily think back to times like WoD, where you could make usable crafteds for your alts OR funnel gear and upgrades to your main, and freely reroll stats to counter retardation of rng. Not even mentioning days of Pandaria, and before, when indeed raid materials existed, but they could be freely sold or bought on the auction house - meaning you could make extra gold to pay for your consumables, funnel mats into gear for alts, or, if you didn't raid but had a bit of goblin talent, you could still improve your main.As is, this game is getting crappier and crappier. In WoD, I unsubscribed and waited until they fired Greg Street, it seems time is coming to drop out and wait till they fire Ion Hazzikostas.
"New recipes no longer directly require materials from dungeons and raids such as Tidalcore, Sanguicell and Breath of Bwonsamdi." If this statement is correct then explain this for me plse., Unlock: Complete the quest The Eternal Palace: We Can Make It Stronger... by collecting 200x Eternal Ornament from raid bosses in The Eternal Palace. and why does it it cost so much? Unless drop rates for the Manapearls increase supper dramaticly you wont have enough to buy the first ring rec. and upgradr Benthick armour plus all the other items requireing Manapearls.
So much overreacting and hyperbole here. You still get expulsom back, but only half of it. Clearly to curb excessive attempts at rerolling items. And alts can get plenty of gear already. Just look at world quests, they cap at 370 currently, and up to 395 standard emisary caches with 400 azerite items. Plus the monthly quests from warfronts as well smacking around Ivus.I restate, the strong personal items is a benefit for your main to have the proffession, essentially a replacement for the proffession perks in the past that gave additional stats like the personal ring enchants. And most proffesions can still make lower level gear to get alts over the initial hurdle to qualify for dungeons and raids.
"Doesn't require stuff from raid or dungeons" but to unlock it you need to "require stuff from raid or dungeons". So it was broke and now fixed how? Still requires. Old way you got all that back, so you could just craft another and play the RNG secondary stat game as long as you had plenty of the gems/ores/etc.
I wonder what the Bliz logic is behind raising the profession limit to 175. Every other expansion, once you hit cap, new recipes we accessible. Aside from more to grind, not sure what is behind this change.
Also note: the new rings are unique-equipped so you will only be able to wear one of them. This puts Jewelcrafters behind other professions like Leatherworkers, Blacksmiths and Tailors who can each make and equip two pieces of gear.
The rings have always been unique-equipped.
It is nice to see they are making the primary stat gems valid again at least. Keeping them the same amount as the secondary stats made them pointless after midway through last tier.
The problem with JC is not about collecting mats inside raids, is that gear doesnt naturally have socket and is only randomly generated, so its not a consistent market
