bad enough they are BoP, but lets also leave out some professions as well so that only those with the "correct" professions can benefit from crafted gear. Enchanters, Miners, Herbalists, and Skinners are all left out of being able to craft or use such items while others are able to craft gear equivalent to current Mythic raid. that is utter BS.

so my main who is JC and enchanting can make a 415 unique equip ring that only has secondary stats, rings of course being among the weakest of gear pieces but ok. there was previously an enchanting wand that looked decent, but it seems that was removed so no enchanting gear.

Druid is Mining and Herbalism, no recipes of course because these are not crafting professions. maybe add a chance to find something equivalent while collecting these resources.

Hunter is Blacksmithing and skinning. she can make nothing useful since blacksmiths only make plate and weapons.

meanwhile, my DK is engineering and blacksmith, so she will be able to make 415 helm, legs, and belt. that's 3 mythic raid quality items this toon will be able to make herself while others can make 1 or none. worse yet, helm and legs are some of the more powerful pieces as far as amount of stat they give.

when we have 3 crafting professions that can make (and use if they are the right class) 2 pieces of mythic raid quality gear there is no reason that any profession should be left out, even if you must get creative on how those items might be obtained.

i cannot justify changing professions for this gear when i have rare, hard to obtain, or no longer obtainable recipes. No one should be punished because they do not want to lose such things. the recipes may no longer be useful, but they have nostalgia or the value of the transmog item is quite good especially recipes that cannot be found anymore.

This an alchemy item obtained by players, with Alchemy as their profession, from bosses in the new raid Battle of Dazar'alor and used for crafting new epic 400 and 415 item level profession gear namely Spirited Alchemist Stone and Eternal Alchemist Stone.

Note: The Battle of Dazar'alor raid will not be immediately available with the release of Patch 8.1. The raid is expected to release in January 2019.

I would suggest that Blizzard/Activision makes a clean brake and removes all professions. There is only a low level need for potions and flasks but the higher you are on your level, the less helpful they are. A lot of people cling to their favorite professions over the years (like me) just to get disappointed by new mats you can't get or need an ungodly amount of. Just one example: As an alchemist, I can create an eternal alchemist stone for which I need two lower level ones. The spirital AS requires 20 "Breath of Bsansamdi" (?) which are however only available on Jan-22. The eternal AS however all of a sudden needs 200 of this mat. Really? It almost feels like they put this together and in the end realized that OMG, people could actually make one of those stones within a reasonable time frame. Let's make them run after this mat until it's not needed anymore.

The new Sanguicell. One drops per boss on Normal. I would assume it drops by the 10's each subsequent difficulty.

Takes 20 to create the 400 ilvl pieces, then 200 for 415 ilvl. Binds on Pick up.

Expect to spend a few weeks farming these up as well as 'not' dropping your specific profession as it requires said profession to wear it.

This is a guaranteed drop (unless it is LFR!) for every character from each boss in the Battle of Dazar'alor in the following quantities:

LFR: (up to)1x per Boss
Normal: 1x per Boss
Heroic: 10x per Boss
Mythic: 20x per Boss

After a boss was looted in one difficulty mode, the Breath can still be looted from another difficulty mode in the same week.

why am i forced to raid to get this crafting material?
I dont like raiding cause people ask for Curve...again new BOA raid while it has nothing to do with learning these new bosses,i honestly getting sick and tired of this.
Stop forcing us to raid Blizzard,or i'm forced to end my 15 years of WoW gaming if i cannot get these crafting materials.
At least have some way to convert other materials into this or have it drop in dungeons with the amount beeing to the difficulty taken on to be fair.
,like x amount for normal,heroic and mythic and M+.
I have +1K rio and done all +10,so people claiming that Curve is some assurence to one beeing capable is utter bull&*!@!
I like em see do M10 right now those "raiders" with Curve....i seen people M Uldir 8 / 8 and fail miserably!

Blizzard always doing the same in wow. You farm items, quests and rep for 3 months straight to get an item ilvl 350 when you already got a 390 in a weekly boss. This happens with reputations and professions... 200 Breath of Bwonsamdi for a 415 helmet and BOP? "20 per Mythic Boss".... if I get 20 per mythic boss I already have a 415 helmet for sure. Just lame.

My take from this: if you only run LFR content or normal at best, don't bother trying to craft the most expensive recipes (the ones requiring 200 breath). Rather ludicrous if you ask me.

For those of you who maxed out your professions early and have not been back to the trainer for a while, all Profession trainers now have recipes to transmute Tidalcore into Hydrocore, and Breath of Bwonsamdi into Sanguicell. The BFA season one mats no longer drop and all primary professions can now get the recipe to transmute these, not just Alchemy.

i find it unacceptible that breath of bwonsomdi isn't available at all to non raiders. it should be that mythic keystones at some level start dropping them .. especially in quantities that make sense .. not like RF which is rediculous. i'm actualyly offended on a proffessional level that i can run a mythic + that drops higher gear than a heroic raid but i'm unable to craft my own gear except by force by running through a raid. way to alienate the majority of players at higher levels that don't raid. another not so well thought out game mechanic n this release.

Scraping a crafted item gives you back the Breath of Bwonsamdi.

Scraping a crafted item with Sanguicell, Tidalcore, Hydrocore and Expulsom also gives back the full amount of materials.

Another highly valuable item that is worthless to dual gatherers. Can't use it, can't sell it and vendor value is pocket lint.

No unheard of from WoW but still disappointing.
