Method just got Jaina to below 10%. Go Method
Blizz trying to milk this world first race because they see how much attention it's getting for the game.
For people complaining about the "head start", the tracking of world first is slowly shifting over to a "time from release" world first. This isn't a universal acceptance, of course, but there is a reason why raider.io is keeping a track of this. Also, members of Method have also mentioned before now, and even during this week's streaming, that a universal global reset time would be moronic and far worse than the 8am time that is currently being used. A global reset time means servers in 1-2 regions would occur during peak hours, and considering that weekly resets occasionally occur along with a couple of hours of downtime, how unfair would it be if reset happened while one region is asleep and the other two are at the start or midway through their day of attempts?Whether people outside of this race understand or care about this is redundant. I'd rather listen to the people who are actually conducting the race. This does take us to the hotfix though, as that proves the point. The hotfixed occurred globally (allegedly). Hotfixes need to happen rapidly for a number of reasons, integrity of game systems, stop exploits etc, but raid related ones, specifically on Mythic, Blizzard might want to consider those to be scheduled in instead to "doing it live", because it did exactly what a universal reset time would do, it causes one region to stumble whilst not affecting another. It also wasn't a game breaking issue. Based on what I'm reading, the change actually resulted in Method's "best" attempt.
Quote:"unintentionally"Yea, wtg Blizzard, always screwing up. Exactly what kind of people do you have working on WoW now days? It seems everything is just a hot pile of trash with no one testing anything.

Get better gear before the fight. I'll wait to get ilvl 640 before doing this one. Maybe 700.
For people complaining about this hotfix. Their internal team obviously didn't see this bug happen. Frost Nova isn't being cast like its supposed to, I think blizzard should've just kept the fix in, but they should've actually explained to everyone about it.
The simple fact that this boss is taking the best guilds so much time to kill is worrying....
