Does this mean that the Night Elves are losing their home and will not be able to quest anymore?
So we torch Ashenvale? <3
If your ability and willingness to enjoy the Warcraft story is this easily broken over a single event, then you never were true fans of the story to begin with. Look to the history of Warcraft, consider all the events that crossed one of your beloved races..... what happened? How did they bounce back from it? What actions did they take because of it?You're being placed front row and center in a slowly unfolding story. This isn't the end of the story..... Have you not grasped that? Instead of crying and raging over how you have been wronged, maybe you could look forward to how the people in the story will bounce back from it?Pick any moment in the history of Warcraft, if you were playing during that time, plenty of events would happen that you wouldn't be happy about. If you want the perfect story told for one race in a story with dozens, maybe you should just write your own story then?Get over yourselves, this story is far too big for anyone to like every single event that takes place. You'd think you guys were children the way you're behaving.
Interesting developments. Definitely going to have to read her book.So ready for this expansion so the pieces will fit better together.
I told you enough times; Sylvanas does not no where Teldrasil is!
I'm a druid and don't want to set Teldrassil or forests on fire
The Horde begins bloodshed and will receive for it from the noble knights. Again ... The same labels are hung in every update. The alliance does not accept preemptive strikes against the enemy, he will substitute his back, forgive the savage barbarians at the end and never his leaders will be antiheroes. Boring repetition.
Why do I get the feeling Malfurion is going to nuke Teldrassil like he did Nordrassil? I don’t want that guy in charge of wisps
I am really not liking the story this expansion. I truly hope that it turns into an Old God expansion and fast. I will be pretty upset if the Undercity and Teldrisil remain Horde/Alliance in the next expansion..
Im afraid about druids fate. As druid I have many troll and tauren friends. How this could happend?
Honestly, the more that I read this thread - the more that I am grateful that Blizzard is writing their own story as they see fit. Even if parts of it are bad, and even if I don't care for it this expansion, I can't even imagine trying to please a player base that has die hard fans of over 13 different individual races(19/21 with the allied races?). How do you please 1 or 2 race's fans - without pissing off 1 or 2 of another race's fans? How do you write a compelling and interesting story between the Alliance and the Horde, and any of the dozens of different enemies, let alone the dozens of sub factions that are involved in the story? Blizzard has done a damn good job getting the story as a whole where it is today. Each expansion the story is flawed, and it's always going to be that way. I don't even want to try to imagine the kind of effort it would take to offer the very best story telling any brand could offer - in a game that spans millions of players, who each have very very different ideas about what is a good story, and what is not.Seriously, if the fans had their hands on the reins of the story direction, the entire thing would ground to a halt. Nobody is ever going to be okay with seeing their favorite race be anything but the supreme masters of the entire universe. You guys want fan service for your individual favorites, and that it isn't what the main story is focused on. You are going to be disappointed if you are expecting a story that is catered specifically for you. They need writers that can make the decisions required in order to move the story into any given direction. What they don't need is writers that are concerned about upsetting some annoying little turd stain that cares for his beloved Night Elves and nothing else.
♪ I don't want to set the world forest on fire,I just want to start a flame in your heart... ♪Oh. Uh, wrong game. Sorry, carry on.
