No? I never played ASSA but i fight for multi-speccing. I’m willing to learn if it becomes the GO-to spec in raid. It creates diversity and balance. But for now, theres no reason to even try it...

A Comment regarding Frost mage, and apologies I do not know the other specs well enough so I haven't taken into consideration their current situation.I generally most times agree with PreHeat but... It's actually a true representation almost of where Frost Mage is. Lets take a very close to Patchwork fight, I'm rank #12 in the world (at time of writing this) for Heroic Shriekwing as Frost Mage. If you filter this and go to the log I did it in. You will see I was very much at the bottom of DPS. By a lot, not a little. Frost has a major problem regarding multiple fights in this raid due to Cooldown timing. Mythic Sludgefist is the best example I can give. I will never make it to a Mythic Sludgefist kill as Frost Mage because my spec is so bad on that fight. 1 Minute CD combustion on every pillar vs Icy Veins for 45 seconds on First and Third puts me about 2k dps a Fire Mage heaven forbid they make it to execute phase. Capped AOE is also hurting the class, it's 100% legendary dependent and not even talentable. This biggest thing hurting every Frost Mages progression is the way NightFae offers us nothing and the fact that classes at a high level are so Covenant dependent. I'm really not sure what Blizzard thought was good about giving Fires 60s cooldown, 10 more seconds off by hitting covenant ability and Frost gets Blizzard (Capped AOE) and Frozen Orb (Also Capped AOE) without reducing their 3 minute cooldown at all. I really wanted to do Mythic Progression this tier but Frost is so far behind for utility and raid-ability that I am benched for reasons beyond my control. Sure I can change to fire, but with the state gearing is in I'm looking at 2 months to properly re-roll gear and covenant. 2 months... I may as well make another toon if I want Cutting EdgeTuning Frost mage in straight up damage is not going to make a difference, we've already received 3 buffs and 12% base damage this expansion. It's not the problem. Talent tree in a high end aspect - Completely useless. Class - Completely proc dependent. Completely Legendary dependent for AOE
Havoc is the lowest dps class in the game. All other classes have at least one spec above Havoc. Buff Blade Dance Blizzard, this isn’t that hard. With Cycle of Hatred, you literally never use Blade Dance in ANY circumstance. GREAT DESIGN.
How about rather than looking at Mythic only you also do a comparison with Heroic logs alongside Mythic and drop the percentile down to 50th, because you will see there a lot more melee classes in the mid of the pack compared to the Mythic logs ie. Sub/Assass rogues in HC are midpack in Mythic at the very bottom. Instead of pointing out the obvious to us why aren't we being informed as to why there is such a big turn around between HC and Mythic class choosing, is it down to the extra phases that are in Mythic or is it down to guilds watching videos on how other guilds have cleared Mythic and copy their class balance? Those are more interesting questions to have rather than looking at parses from the 95th Mythic percentile.
You're missing the point of the ranking. At mythic difficulty at the 95th percentile you're taking the best players who perform the best on their classes in order to get a more consistent evaluation. The lower you go the more of a mix of performances you'll see. For example at the 50th percentile you could have someone who died near the end of the pull and someone else who just doesn't know their skill rotation as well as they could. You cant rank those 2 against each other because they're doing that damage for different reasons. I'd suspect the only reason they do 95 and not 99 or 100 is because the very top logs are skewed by situational/non class related buffs like Power Infusion.
About Frost Mage, I wonder what the author mean by " ... but I don't believe the one parse on Sire Denathrius is representative of what Frost can do on that fight."There is only one parse logged with Frost Mage in this fight. If this is not representative of the invalid status Frost Mage is in, then what is? Frost Mage is almost completely cut out from Sire Denathrius fight from Heroic level up. In fact, that there is a non-zero log of Frost Mage in this fight means much more than that parse it is in. A ultimate testament of this guy's courage. We are not having enough conversations about how Blizzard is systemically discriminating certain classes and specs in this expansion. Even for a private company who has no obligations to listen to its customers, this is not OK. It is not OK that Blizzard charges its customers the same amount of money to play something this broken.A fundamental re-design of some specs such as Frost Mage is needed NOW. Not next major patch. NOW.Or the alternative solution is to put a label on top of the frost talent tree saying "This is a joke".
