Rogues looking great, good thing they bring awesome raid utility. Oh.. Wait
Havoc and warrior and rogues still getting the bad end of the stick.Havoc: no other dps spec to fall back to.warrior: both spec at the bottomrogues: all specs at the bottomBeast and survival: you have a god mode spec to play.Frost mage: play fire and be a god, everywhere.Blizzard balancing where any rogue warrior or havoc can log at 100 percentile and be behind a 70 percentile hunter/moonkin/mageSo much fun...
Not sure how much it makes sense to comment on Frost Mage (or Arcane Mage, Destro-Lock or Frost DK). Just looking at 1 parse seems too vague to conclude anything on.
Never any healer and tank analysis.
This is only the top 5% of mythic raiders though, surely you will see a better balance at the 50th percentile? Also there is not enough data on some classes to draw any conclusions so why include it?
These posts need to stop looking at overall parses, those are heavily skewed by specific bosses where specs heavily outperform others. Biggest offender is Balance Druid which, while obviously very good, is only at the top on overall because the spec is allowed to solo all the waiters on council. If you go by average ranking instead Affliction would be far ahead of Balance Druid. Sorting by boss would also show cases the niches of some specs that don't show on the overall ranking (like Spriest, Feral and Ele single target) and bosses that barely have parses like Sire (poor Frost Mage as Preheat already pointed out).
Well people are always busy comparing BM and MM since legion but totally ignoring that there is a thrid spec. In Bfa, BM was OP and MM was slighly behind BM but still 95% of PvE players played only BM but this time everyone fall for MM's craziness. Even Blizzard just ignored this spec and dropped without doing anything for Survival then how people suppose to know the beautiness. Sad
Hopefully blizzard will invest some ressources in class/spec balance for 9.1For this tier it's pretty doomed i think, such a shame...
And rogue is still unchanged in the 9.0.5 ptr, i guess the class is fine. Outlaw single target damage is trash, while being the last dps on Outlaw ST in my raid i still managed to parse an epic log, just to give you an idea of how trash rogue damage is. All we're good at is pad the meters with blade flurry with AoE - that, if you manage to hit some adds before monks/boomkins/hunters pulverize them (so pad damage really).Sad, sad times to be a rogue in raid environment. At least I can one shot most mobs in the Maw with the stealth crit legendary, probably that's the metric they go for when they decide if a class is doing fine.
Let's see: Rogues are pure DPS, melee, have no party utility, no buffs, no debuffs, capped AoE, pretty bad covenant abilities, two specs already destroyed and their best spec is simply middle of the pack. Great job Blizzard.
Yup makes sense that the table with the DPS, Max, and Parses ends with frost mage. Who cares about the last four specs. *sobs*
You can check the other percentiles yourself. They are all very similar.
Please I beg that you stop making these "Analysis" if you're not going into depth, you're spreading misinformation on a lot of classes/specs.... Instead of going by overall please go by a boss by boss basis and by a boss damage basis because some fights carry a spec/class through the overall. Please take a look at boss damage per boss as well. There are many fights where add dmg is not as important as boss dmg. Please look at boss damage overall at the least if you're going to do an actual Analysis.
Please do not listen to these posts half the specs that are "in the middle" are actually at the bottom of boss damage by a large margin.
That's a whole lot of yellow and green at the bottom there.
