You've made your bed, now lie in it.
They can plead all they want but RMT such a huge thing in china that the only way to stop it from happening in your game is to do it yourself and do it better than the gold farmers can provide.
Sadly the reason this is happening has nothing to do with online games but with a country's economy. When playing an online game is more profitalbe than any job in your country, these things are due to happen. Here in Venezuela people are paid about $2 dollars a month unless you're a government official, a drug dealer or a persons/weapons trafficker which in essence all are synonyms. Therefore you see a lot of venezuelan farmers as well. I can only think that to some degree, something similar happens in China. The difference is that even if the situation is not as dire in China as it is here, they have their own servers and that makes the thing a lot more obvious.
So instead of gold farmers spamming and torturing players. Its RMT groups doing what RMT groups have always done. And Multi boxer drones over running zones monopolizing mobs and gold drops. To later sell to players for RMT?So basically Chinese players are having to deal with the crap NA/EU players have had to deal with for over 10 yrs. I take the same stance as Blizzard. I see nothing wrong here. And please stop blaming loyal PAYING customers. Thank you.
People upsetti spaghetti about multiboxing to the point they make bad statements on what multiboxing is, without knowing fully the terms they are even saying to describe it. Multiboxing is not and has never been automation, automation by definition is something that runs by itself with minimal human input, usually the only human input would be flipping a switch to get program started or changing the code, or switching to another automated program. If every single action requires human input then it is not automated, multiboxing is not automation, it is not botting, some people can and do combine botting with their multiboxing, but a lot of people, do not. Just because you do not like something doesn't mean you can give it a false label because you don't understand it. It is also not a "rich player only" thing, dual boxing costs 30 a month, cheap %^&*, you probably spend at least 5 times that on a bunch of other subscriptions, a full group of multiboxing accounts costs 75 a month, again, cheap &*!@, the average American makes more than that for a day's work. The program I use is also relatively cheap (I am a dualboxer) and I pay once every year (sometimes they even have a 2 for 1 year deal) It's "rich player only" just because you personally do not believe it is worth it, however it is not expensive if you believe it is worth it. I personally have 2 accounts because I am an altoholic and I was running out of room on my main account's servers and so I decided personally it was worth it. The only thing stopping the average wow player from multiboxing is whether they believe it is fiscally worth it to do so, but don't misconstrue your own notion of worth to be it being expensive and for the rich, because the reality is it really isn't.

ban all communities = problem fixed... hardly anyone boosts outside of communities nowadays...trade chats r full of community this community that etc...just ban them all....
This is the end result of "if I can make money doing something then why shouldn't I?" and "I don't have time to play properly so I am going to use my money to skip the boring stuff". Literally the only way it is going to stop completely is if people stop paying for the "services". That isn't going to happen though due to the second group and the fact that the Chinese government recently limiting kids (under 18) online gaming time to 90 minutes on weekdays and 3 hours on weekends and holidays. If you only had 13.5 hours of playtime total per week would you want to do the "boring grindy" stuff or would you rather do the exciting stuff and get your parents to pay for the boring stuff?Netease could possibly ask the government for help to break the farming groups but I am not sure which side the government would take - taking down a thriving business who probably pays plenty of taxes might not be high on their agenda.
Ban list(perm/temp) as of May 14th. They banned sooooo much people every week. Either they still unable to get rid all of them or...(well,you know...)
I don't know, Blizzard banned the Hearthstone player for causing a protest, not how it would affect the company or interest him in another controversy that is likely to get him into trouble for China again?
I hope Blizzard at least learns from this and doesn't make the same mistake on US/EU realms.
It seems that something has changed on CN realms now.Phrase to the warrior who keep fighting to those boosting sellers!
Its okay guys, they are just multiboxers.
LOL @ all the comments blaming this on China's government... Don't want to see ads in WoW? Just quickly overthrow your communist government and let US install democracy, after that all will be fine.Blizzard is THE owner of the game, they can literally order Netease to enforce blocking of this content.
