At the time of this post, this mount is a normal flying mount that does not increase swim-speed or provide any other aquatic benefit.

Currently bugged for me in the current release patch, got this today and when dragonriding it only had 310% flying speed instead of 705%

I was able to do this today at 251 fishing before buffs. Ended with 29 minutes to spare.

Specular rainbowfish was the one that took the longest, 8+ glimmerpools.

Caught Awoken Coelacanth in less than 5 minutes.

Buffs used were Ghoulfish perception (15 perception), Whispering Stargazer (10 stack for 5 min Coelcanth fishing), Goldengill Blessing (45 perception), Crystalline Sturgeon/Nibbling Minnow (45 perception), Bismuth Bitterling/Dilly-Dally Dace (10 fishing), Ghoulfish Delight (30 fishing), Nat's Drinking Hat (8 fishing) and the lure from the hat (10 fishing)

My equipment was a 2 star Bismuth Fisherfriend with a Weaverline

So, in Skyriding the tooltip doesn't mention swim speed but in steady flight it does say it gives you 100% swim speed.

Also to note, at the time of writing this, you do not need to catch all the fish within a single 1 hour but it does need to be during an active Derby Dash. I got all but 3 the first weekend and caught the last 3 I needed on the second weekend and still got the mount.

I really love that they spiced up fishing this time and added this - it reminds me of a few mounts in FFXIV that are received via different fishing activities

At the time of writing this, this mount is bugged and doesn't have the skyriding speed effects around it. This makes it an AWESOME mount if you, like me, dislike them.

There appears to be LoD model issues with the eyes on this mount. the main eye has bad textures as you zoom out on it.
