Rare spawn Kob'rok in Caverna di Zaralek is listed as the source for 2-3x battle pets:

Alaroccia Increspato (more than likely a Karokta drop with the wrong source listed in the Pet Journal)
Salverun
Skaarn

While the other(s) drop(s) directly, for Salverun it looks like you'll need to loot a Scaglia Luminescente di Kob'rok instead and do Sniffenseek to find something like Tesoro Nascosto dei Niffen. They have a chance to contain a basic tablet and several designs.

Combining them and completing the ritual will eventually result in your Cartidis battle pet and complete È mmmio è tuuutto miooo which is part of Il miglior amico di un Niffen. Kinda hard to keep track of it, but it feels like you may only be able to get one of the Sniffenseek items needed for the process every week (open your treasures after each run, keeping them unopened resulted in players missing their "weekly" drop!) and the Scale drop is gated behind finishing the Tablet.

As of today - 10.1.7 - Late September 2023

The "DESIGNS" items seem to be dropping a little more than previously.

Previously - I first time farmed for these for the first 10 (?) weeks after the week of Zaralek Caverans opening. It was not until AFTER I was in the final 15-20 reputation with Loamm that I received the items, usually from a rare.

As of today - I'm just doing regular world quests, and they are dropping out of the Niffen treasure bags instead as mob loots—September of 2023.

This is probably so we are not backtracking to old areas when the next season comes out, which is now rumored to be before or after BlizzCon in November.

Roggy, of course, is still a pain to get!
