cool idea for the race but interesting they are doing it with a paid early access. Either way good luck anyone trying .
This makes me kinda sad I can't afford the game RN.Also weird that they do this with early access like Ap0calyp2e mentioned.
Let me guess, US only again. xD
So #$%^ed they aren't disqualifying the reviewer/early end game beta people that have a massive advantage.
I am less bothered about streamer/reviewer getting early access, but the fact that you need to pay for deluxe/ultimate edition to have a chance at winning.
Will they make every name themself as they have done in recent "Q&A"?
I wonder how this will play out.How many people will play "fair" and how many will have friends working in shifts, playing non-stop?And how many people will push themselves too hard, sleeping 4 hours a day and overdosing on caffeine - or microdosing cocaine?Didn't Blizzard remove "realm first level X" because it promoted toxic/abusive gameplay?I am not (and likely never will be) a hardcore player - will it be fun to watch, or will it be non-stop repeating grind on some spot?I really like the idea of Blizzard holding those "community races", but I just wonder whenever this is the right way of doing it.
Basically slave to the server lag. Ah. You know they are laughing in their cubicles.
Hmm why the post is implying that each of the 1k will get a statue. It seems even Mike said, that the first 1k will have their battletag imprinted on a statue at blizzard. Is not about each getting a statue
How to survive Hardcore:*The Butcher enters chat*"Fresh Meat! You better log off faster than I can swing my Cleav-"*RobFromTheBlock Logged Off* "I knew I should have just kept it short and to the point with "Fresh Meat" and got straight to the butchering.../sigh"*Butcher slowly fades away, heading to another random dungeon within Sanctuary.*
So I'm unable to participate even though I'm playing hc because I am playing the underpowered trash druid, nice. It should be the first 250 for each class or something like that. The first 1000 is going to be almost exclusively the op classes.
i find it weird that people get upset on this type of thing, when they probably wouldn't even compete for it in the first place.
i love the idea but not the fact that it starts with the early access. should start when the game is available for everybody just a few days later imo. it's not the end of the world, but it just seems weird to give people that paid more a huge head start and give people fomo
Common sense would be to hold off and make this race an event for Season 1.But hey, Blizzard's trying to incentivize people into paying extra for what people used to get by simply pre-ordering a game.
