A five man group from <Progress> on Firemaw-EU appear to be the first Burning Crusade Classic players to reach level 70, beginning with Hacez and quickly followed by group members Kennygodx, Dt, Nigoshima, and Kynmagetwo!
According to
Hellspawnl
, the group could have been even faster, but prioritized
Karazhan attunement
.
<Progress> is well known for going above and beyond in Classic, having achieved the
World First clear of Naxxramas
,
tied for first in Blackwing Lair
, and gotten the first
C'Thun kill in Ahn'Qiraj
. With around 30 players quickly approaching level 70, they are well underway in their race for the Classic World First clear of all Tier 4 content -
Karazhan
,
Magtheridon's Lair
, and
Gruul's Lair
. Although the first group to reach 70 do not appear to have streamed their race, two other players from <Progress> are currently live on Twitch.
While the
first level 60 in Classic
got there by AoE grinding mobs, this group's approximately 13 hour leveling time is the result of another tried and true strategy - stockpiling quest turn-ins and then spamming 5 man dungeons for hours on end; a strategy which many players are taking advantage as they race to reach the end game challenges of the first Classic expansion.
