Isn't Onyxia supposed to be on Classic section?
Faction assigment should be based on world first guild in each raid ...
this is a weird thing to do. It's not going to change anyone's view on the story. if you raided there and you like the lore, then your faction was there lol.though...if it were up to me, I would swap magister's terrace and sunwell from horde and alliance to alliance and horde. the others seem to make sense sort of, lore wise. but this kind of seems weird for the alliance to save the sunwell, then just walk away. or, even better, list it as a unified thing since it was organized by the unified shattered sun group of elves and draenei.I do want to add that if anyone is upset about this...do remember that it doesn't matter? Both factions get quests for the raids, you know. If you were there, then your faction was part of it. The book is just a book, it has nothing to do with the players.
Lol, Alli%^&s get canon kills on C'thun, KT, Vashj, and Kil'jaeden, four of the hardest bosses in WoW, and still they whine. The meme lives on.
Wait, so the Horde killed Blackwing in Classic? I though Deathwing's whole trip to Stormwind at the start of the Cataclysm was so he could recover his son's remains to Frankenstein him up for Blackwing's Descent. I can't help but notice his second death isn't mentioned above either, I guess canonically we're just going to pretend his first decapitation was as fatal as it should've been. Lorewise that raid was a whole waste of time after all, even if gameplaywise it was one of my favorite raids to date.
A little sad about all this, always imagined that raids were dealt with by both factions everytime... But hey, why not ? Good repartition, like stated before... Horde has more feats, but smaller ones, so it balance well with big - but not many - feats of the Alliance. The logic behind who gets what is nice too. I'm okay with this :3Plus : We are canon ! We are in the lore °^°But I'm still waiting for a Chronicle about factions - not Horde and Alliance but more like Ebon Blade and such - to know a bit more about how they deal with major factions, and between themselves. ( Like... When Ebon Blade kill paladins just for "fun" or when they just... You know... Genocide the whole red Dragonflight for a mount. )
There is no 'favouritism.' Blizzard clearly prefers the Alliance.
Look, being invested in a game is all well and good, I enjoy samples of this games lore as well, but you seriously have to take a step back and realize this is just a video game. If you feel any kind of butthurt over which faction took down which boss, which is perfectly logical and understandable in the context of this chronicle and wow lore as a whole, then you need to rethink your priorities. Some of the comments here are cringy, no names, its apparent enough. Just let Blizzard tell their story and if you can do better, write your own fanfic.I am perfectly satisfied with how this narrative has been made canon, why does everything have to be equal in the first place? The whole faction-favoritism fallacy that has been going on for a good while now in the broader wow community, especially with the BFA alpha and supposed difference of quality between the factions and attention given, has to stop.Vocal minority crying havoc I suppose, the majority of the playerbase who aged along with this game will likely think nothing of it. I'm a Horde player primarily due to racial aesthetics and ingame player models, but think it's just as cool when the Alliance claims a major victory.
All I see is Horde banners. Not that I care though, I like both Factions equally.
