Looking awesome! More encouragement to stream the game.
Looks awesome I agree. Question: Will it work for alpha/beta? Because if it does it's going to be amazing.
I was struggling a while to find out what's the purpose of this until I realized it's for streamers, but I think it's really cool, good job :)
this is very nice extension thx Wowhead!
I'm guessing it doesn't show PvP talents since Blizz site doesn't either?
Awesome, the only feedback I have is that it is almost unreadable if you use Dark Mode.Image: https://i.imgur.com/IrNJoo4.png
This looks pretty cool and I hope a lot of the wow streamers start using it. Could pvp talents be added to this? Some of the popular wow streams are pvp streams and it would be nice to see what pvp talents these players are using.
Looking good! I really hope my favourite streamers will use it! It's so handy. And following the firsts comments it would amazing if it worked on ptr and alpha/beta versions in the future.Great job anyways!
Super awesome, especially for people that stream the Mage Tower challenges! Nice and easy to see what talents/gear that person is using. 10/10
Almost makes one wonder if Blizzard would be willing to find a way to let viewers see some form of this extension during the MDI, but with up to 10 runners being shown on screen at a time (PLUS it's on tournament realms instead of live servers) I don't see how it'd be feasible. For a single PoV though, this sounds like an outstanding extension to have available; thanks!
I wonder if it's possible instead of taking the data from Blizzard's API, you take the data from our WTF folder Saved Variables. So you made a separate addon for WoW which save the data of the player's talent / gear / etc, and it'll updated automatically when you made a change in game by simply /reload in-game.Like right now for example, Details addonThe saved data is contained inside Details.lua which located at\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ \ \ \SavedVariablesAt first Details.lua contain my fight records > I open Details.lua with Notepad++, it contain all my fight records on this character> I clear the fight data in-game> Details.lua still contain this data> I /reload in-game> Details.lua no longer contain this dataTheoretically, you can make an addon for WoW which will make a SavedVariables file that contain the character talent/gear/etc, and if you made a change in-game you can simply /reload to update this file. The Twitch WoWHead addon will use this file instead of the Blizzard's API
This is a great extension! Keep up the great work! There is an issue where I am not able to click on the overlay while in fullscreen due to the twitch overlay covering it up. If the extension were to be hidden until moused over you could place it further away from the top and bottom of the stream to pull up the menu. I was also wondering if there was a way to sync up the characters you log into from the game with the extension instead of manually going through the twitch settings for the extension itself each time you change to a different character. Other than those two personal quirks I love it! Thanks for the work!
So it pulls armory data? Or it can update in real time? My streamer changes gear almost constantly and knowing what he has on is invaluable, but if it shows me what he wore the last time he logged out it would be a bummer..
The only thing I'm missing is that the information doesn't update immediatly after changing your gear in mythic + - but I guess this is impossible to implement, because wowhead takes the info from armory? For me it's important to see the current gear and legendaries especially in mythic +. Or could you take the information via the wowhead client in realtime?
It can't find my character
Is the twitch extension still active right now ? I can't add any of my character to it. It keeps spinning. :/
Does not work for me either, removing.
