Hopefully this means we can later get Sethrak as a playable allied race for the Horde :D
I think Vulpera would make a perfect fit for the Horde, and perhaps a faction of rebel Sethrak can make some deal with the Alliance. We know the Alliance does eventually land in Voldun.
Alliance's version of Vol'dun:-Start of Vol'dun Foothold-Arrive by boat.Take Shatterstone Harbor from Faithless occupation.Help Sergeant Ermey --> "Rescue Private James"Plant Alliance Banner.Sidequest: Kill some dinos. (Trash Loa questline) (Includes awkward bug XD)High Commander --> "Abort rescuing Private James."Find Ermey --> Heal Vorrik from poison to find Private James.2 quests to make antidote."Don't worry, my people will be happy to aid you in return for your kindness to me."Fly to Santuary of the Devoted --- <Horde parity begins here, not identical but similar.>"Korthek, Sulthis, and Vorrik led in harmony." Sulthis dead, Korthek betrayed.Vorrik's Key hidden on Private James.Fend off Faithless attack on Temple.Free Private James amidst this (given by Ermey.)Hey James, check your pockets!"Korthek needs stopped!"Report to High Commander."You did well in brefriending the local population. This likely won't be the last time we'll have to depend upon them."-End of Vol'dun Foothold-It's fairly incomplete in that it implies they'll be back later to help the Sethrak out. Alliance will probably be spending some time with Sethrak on a little more personal level than the Horde do, as Horde helping the Sethrak feels more like a byproduct of helping out the Vulpera. My next post will have the Vulpera Hype Caravan's summary of the core Vol'dun questlines, similar to this news post. http://discord.gg/VWtmNME

The fact that the Alliance seems to help-help Sethrak while the Horde help-helps the Vulpera and just have to help the Sethrak because of a common goal makes it really obvious that the Sethrak/Vulpera allied races thing is happening.
I don't know about Sethrak being Alliance still. The Horde literally leaves the Vulpera in their main questline. And Vulpera ends up just being a side questline. The Horde seems to team up with the Sethrak far more than Vulpera.I have to say though, after seeing Sethrak in game, they look awesome and I wouldn't mind having them in the Alliance over Vulpera. But from what I have seen, both races are neutral, I don't know where people get the Horde helping Vulpera more than the Sethrak, because that just isn't the case. The Sethrak literally stay through the Horde's main storyline there according to what Nobbel did in his video. We need the Alliance War Campign to tell, which isn't actually out yet I don't think.
Sethrak for the horde! Go back to kul'tiras and find your own friends alliance!
I'm not seeing the Alliance get Sethrak from this. It seems like the Horde helps out equally both factions, and the dungeon journal has you, as either faction, resurrect their Loa at the end of the temple. Maybe we'll still get Vulpera but as a new race rather than an Allied Race, or certainly one that can choose their faction similar to Pandaren.
Blizzard said they wont introduce any more neutral races.
A neutral race in the middle of a faction war would be terrible. There's a reason why Pandaria was so dumb in terms of faction war. They spent the entire narrative trying too hard to lecture (the Alliance mostly) about how war is bad while the Pandaren had no issues doing the same thing. They just happened to be extremely annoying about it.
I think the alliance helps vorrik only to show how Mythrax was summoned in uldir, since it will be a raid boss. I really want this race go to the horde side, but since there is no female model and it looks like there is no sethrak reputation to either alliance/horde, i think they will be just npcs :(
*sigh* All discussions become about allied races instead of the story nowadays.
By the way, you should emphasize that this post is for the Horde side of the questline. There's an Alliance one that I don't see here. It indicates quite a friendly approach towards the Sethrak, and it's even a human who had Vorrik's key, also stating they might make more deals with them in the future. So, Sethrak for Alliance is a clear possibility."You did a good job befriending the local populace, we may need their help in the future". <- Alliance textJust one more thing. I emphasize that Vulpera is much better for the Horde and Sethrak for the Alliance. Plenty of reasons, but here's one: Vulpera on the Alliance would be like "Gnome Worgen", and the faction already has identity issues thanks to the excessive focus on Humans and their "sidekicks", Gnomes and Dwarves, Alliance hardly needs another "short version" of a race that is already there. While Sethrak would feel too much like Trolls already, and there's the hostilities with the Vulpera and their civilized type of race, even Korthek saw them as savages. So, I think it'd be more interesting if this was the case.
Yeah, the helm issue makes Sethrak seem extremely unlikely to me even though they would be an awesome addition to races. They're so different from what we have now that it seems like too much additional work for the team.
