I've won three times as Rag, so it's not impossible or anything... but it's definitely harder to win with him than Nef. It was kind of funny because I won my first match, which happened to be as Rag, and figured... awesome! Looked on the forums at everyone being unhappy with how OP Nef was and didn't understand why until I got to play him myself... I guess my first opponent was just unlucky.
Since the Wins tracker is kind of redundant...it would be cool if we could see a Rag. vs. Nef. tally of all matches played (maybe exclude incomplete matches). Not sure how difficult that would be, but it would be neat to know who was winning the brawl. I only played two matches, one with each character, and I won both...i'm curious to how everyone else is fairing.
I think the win tally is arbitrary this week but in future weeks it may be a requirement to get 5 wins or something to earn the weekly reward.
Its funny how ppl complains about ragnaros, yeah he is weaker, but if i remember ragnaros was weaker then nefarian in vanilla blackrock mountain. And still, i won 14/20 games with rag and 4/6 with nef.
The point isn't that it's impossible to win with Rag. It's that it's *definitely* harder than Nef - that is to say, the strength of the decks is tilted in Nef's favour, assuming both players have some idea of how to play each deck. Now that I've had the past few days of experience, I'm consistently winning with Nef by the time I reach 9 or 10 mana - that's how aggressive the deck often plays out without near-perfect answers from Rag.It's probably in the vicinity of 70-30 to 80-20 in Nef's favour, from my own anecdotal experience. And if you're one of those people trying to say that it's balanced, I'd be interested to see you try and pros like Noxious, Savajz and Kripp who all agree that Nef has a clear edge (yes, a plea to authority, but they too aren't just basing their opinion on preference or anything like that). As for potential rewards:*I'd be a little annoyed if the first week's win counter actually mattered for something significant, especially if we weren't told about it. If you get an extra pack for getting 10+ wins or something, that's fine - and in the future they could do better rewards without even saying anything, as they'd have set the precedent for possible rewards based on wins. If they did something awesome like an alternate art card for 50 wins, however, it'd be annoying to have not been given the info before hand, and thus not farmed as much as possible.*The better the prizes they give, the more they'll charge to do the brawl. While I'm not sure it will stay free forever, if it does then 1 free extra pack a week is more than generous enough IMO.*Unless they introduce formats into the brawl that allow for big collections to have major ascendancy, then getting 10/20/whatever wins should be easy enough for anyone. I mean, getting 20 wins this week is a cake walk, given that collection has 0 input on the challenge.
I think it's quite good that it isn't balanced between Nef and Rag. It makes playing as Rag more of a challenge and you get more of a thrill for winning. If both were the same, you'd lose out on that.As long as it's possible to win as either then the Brawl has served it's purpose: a fun alternative play mode.
10 and 0 with Nef. 1 and 9 with Rag. Not sure if you'd count that as unbalanced. But if Nef was Tom Brady, I bet y'all would be checking his balls.

at first I was kicking ass as rag and getting my ass handed to as nafarion, but then I started winining as nefarion and losing as rag, so do not really think they are unbalenced
