100% nef sided >.<
Pretty sure you are missing Flameheart. Also can you add how many copies of the cards are there in the decks? Would be helpful.
how unbalanced is that? i ve never seen a more unbalanced product blizzard spread out than this weeks brawl. havent they had a beta? even for skilled players it s an auto quit if you get rag.
I'd like to know what's up with the win count ... is there any point continuing to play it after you win your pack for the week?
Not gonna lie, Nefarian is WAY better than Ragnaros, but you can still win with him if your oponnent grabs bad spells and you play the right cards (and of course, a little bit of luck is always good)Still, they need to nerf Nefarian to start with 3 mana at least, or buff Ragnaros to the same amount.
Pretty sure Dragon Consort should be listed under Nefarian. I've played two games as Rag, and both times, Nefarian played Consorts. Had a pretty good time with both games played (probably helps that both were wins). First was a pretty big blow out, but the second was a little closer, with me at 16 health and opponent at 18. Thankfully I had enough board control and the 'deal 8 damage' hero power ready to go, so my opponent decided to concede.
Glad to know I'm not crazy. Poor ol' Rag has no chance. Nef's deck even seems designed as an Anti-Rag, e.g., the obvious response that is to Ragnaros' If anything, don't nerf Nefarian, buff Rag. They're epic bosses with 60hp, it should be a crazy duel! Let both start with 5 mana and unleash the 7+ attack drops!
All of you saying it's weighted one side vs. the other . . . I've had both happen, it's dependent on your draw and if you know how to use the cards you're given. Nef's hero power can be awesome, and it can suck, all depends on what you get out of it. I've won more with Rag than Nef, but I've also had my ass handed to me on either deck. It's been out for a couple hours at this point, give the weighting arguments a rest until you have more data.
I played 24 games. Rag 0 - 9... Nef 15 - 0. That s not a huge database, but the outcome cant be more clear. If that was a normal matchup anyone would agree one side to be OP. I cannot think that Blizz will change upon that cause it will only be until Monday. Although the impact is pretty big so they might have to... I dont know.
Best of 5 results.Noxious 2-3 Savjz. Nef 5-0 Rag.
Perfect example of RNG here...playing as Rag, and Neferian uses his hero power and gets MindGames. He plays that, and what card of mine does he get? Golemagg...on the board for free. Another time? Nef plays a load of no-cost spells, burning me down from 25 or so health with Avenging Wrath, 2 eviserates, and a Frostbolt for free. Me, I play as Nef? I get Sense Demons...among other not-great spells, and Rag wipes the floor with me.Each deck has some amazing things you have to be prepared for, and other things that there's no way to prepare for. After about 10 games, I have about an even win rate between Rag and Nef. 2 of those wins (and maybe 2 of the losses) came down to pretty close games. The other wins and losses were blowouts on either side (either I win brutally or my opponent wipes me). That might be the kicker here, the feeling of helplessness when you get torn apart and there's nothing you feel you could have done differently. But that can happen with either deck, so I really can't say that one is so much more OP than the other. But good lord I'm having fun today :)
I'm about 3-2 with nef and 2-4 with rag so i'm seeing it a bit nef sided but I definitely think it's not further than 60/40 off (still not an easy game with rag). Part of the problem is that rag's cards aren't good enough relative to nef's to justify having 5 less mana. But I've noticed that nef tends to lose if he doesn't get a ton of value off of his power or if he draws a bunch of the ____tron cards (all of which help rag more than him).
I just played my first game. I was Rag, so after reading this thread, I was a bit worried. I won pretty easily, though. Had 40 health at the end :D
Beat nefarian on 1st try. According to blizzards stats its 55% / 45% in nefarians favour.
lol at people hating on rag, i won 2 games in a row with him
First time as Rag got my butt kicked, then stormed as Nef. Second time as Rag played very conservatively early, just using my weapon to face and to take out trivial minions, and once my Die Insect power got activated played to remove minions to use the hero power to go to face. It was long and grueling, but eventually I drew a couple of Flamehearts and Lava Bursts and was able to finish Nef off. And I never got low enough in health to use Golemagg. But I got a bit lucky in the card draw.
Why is everyone complaining about the matchup being unbalanced? It's not!I've played with both Rag and Nefarian and i've won multiple times with both of them.Nefarian's got the early game, and Rag has the late game,if you can survive until turn 6 with Rag,the comeback is insane.
Currently 2 wins out of 3 with Rag, 3 wins out of 4 with Nef.Whichever one I play, though, win or lose, it's great fun!
