Sorry didn't mean to make two comments straight after each other (please only count one for the draw); With the increase of character slots by 6 per realm, any chance of increasing the overall total? I have been bumping along at 50 for a while now.
Hooray for upright orcs XD
Good news for me since I already use one.
This looks so fun and finally a backpack upgrade!
backpack increase should deserve it's own xpac:))
Lots of good stuff there. Liking the backpack expansion and more character slots. Really want more character customization options so hope they do this. Silvermoon as a last bastion feels a bit weird, but then the plaguelands are hardly "Alliance" so I guess they would have to conquer all of that and THEN ghostlands and eversong woods. Basically a quarter of the continent, plus the undead and trolls up there. I'd like them to also consider updating moonkin appearances, and how they relate to transmog gear. Also more detail on how easy it will be to solo old content in Pandaria and Draenor, drop rates from rare mobs (after the recent changes to spawns) and whether they will bring back unobtainable gear
Questions were better this year, but they should have asked more things related with Legion considering we are gonna be doing it for at least more than 7 months.
Now I'm torn between Alliance for Dark Irons or Horde so I can stand up straight.
Sad no legendary going forward.
Larger backpack is great news. Really looking forward to this expansion.
Seems realy nice !
This waiting is killing me ! at lease we still have one more raid ahead of us :P
I am excited
First things first: I despise faction war. Passionately; it was completely forced in Legion and a plot device in mists. Its old, its dumb, and im tired of it. If this was anything but a subscription game, we would have long ago exhausted our resources fighting each other and been destroyed. Even if it peters out into a bigger scope, thatll just turn it into another mists - faction war is a total crutch. That said, things seem to be coming along decently well. And the cinematic was stirring. I like the QoL updates, like character appearances and whatnot. For a world that is supposed to be changing and adapting, a lot of it is past due. But its good to be getting it now instead of never, i guess. As an avid altoholic, reputation grinds, quest unlocks and the like are serious deterrents. There is no real point to reputation grinds other than to increase game play time.....which could be done with a number of other methods - as an altoholic id just be paying to play my alts, instead of one character. Time gating if you must, reputation makes sense, but making it a grind is obsolete. Complete a bunch of significant quests, gain a rep tier. I think freeing a race from addiction should be worth more to them than doing the same couple of things over and over for a month. Its obsolete. So, just some ideas:-going through each dps spec and first ensuring smooth gameplay (rotations) and THEN tweaking damage from there. Instead of clunky, broken rotations or a smooth rotation that ends up sub par. -being rid of rotations that heavily rely on procs to do damage. Procs should be a bonus to baseline damage, not part of it. -lowering the presence of rng in the game. There are people that got, for example, ashes of al'ar in the first 5 runs. And there are people that do it every week, And have been for years with nothing to show for it. I understand the appeal of exclusive items, but taking things away or making them near impossible to get. If i finally get ashes after 5 years of weekly grinding, how happy i am is not going to out-weigh how ticked i am that others got it their first try. Some unluckiness is fine, but extreme unluckiness? Makes no sense. Rng is not difficulty or skill, its just luck. Which is frustrating. On that note, removing content is something i have never understood. That some things tie into particular expansions could still be done with the help of a bronze. It irritates me to no end that content has been and continues to be removed. Hand of a'dal is gone except the story and quest is still there. I didnt play back then. So i guess screw me, huh? Removing hidden and challenge skins screws everyone except the most hardcore players since they will not be available post xpac apparently. Not that it makes a huge difference, i guess, but it decreases things we can work for. Scale the challenge encounter for level instead of getting rid of it. With in-game elements, most of these excuses given make zero sense at all. Exclusivity in an mmorpg does not a good game make, when you gate rewards behind rng and remove them altogether after a window. While i dont know the rigors of what it is to design games, i feel like blizzard is run more and more by the corporate faceless instead of gamers that want to create an immersive experience that functions at its peak and gives its player base a sense of satisfaction. I have to pay to play, so dont make me feel like im wasting my time. If i HAVE to grind reputation, make it account or faction wide! Make it so when you hit rep tiers, you can get a boa token to give your alts that makes them that rep level as well. Gate some things behind quests or world timegates, but dont ask me to grind multiple reputations on all of my characters. Thats completely unreasonable. Good stuff so far, but still a long way to go. Good work on keeping us up to date, wowhead crew!
Nice, new character slots, increased backpack size. Alot of changes to the lvl 1-60 experience. Seems Blizz have set out a nice expansion for us.
Red shirt guy always asks something lore related. I hope future Q&A's will be more gameplay focused as well
authenticator keeps paying off, still runs off the original battery from wrath
No one asks about sending things wia mail to opposite fraction at one acc. :(Im a Gnome ...But i realy like Zandalari trolls, and was thinking about get 50/50 ali/horde characters ... but then there are proffesions. :-/ Im too lazy to skill every one twice. :D
YES! Upright standing orcs, so cool! And upright standing Trolls (Zandalari)! Blizzard has started to listen to the community, which makes it interesting what the future has in store.
I hope they don't mess up Jaina's story. One of my favorite characters. I would be really disappointed if they make her do bad stuff :<Comments like "dreadlord Jaina omg" triggers me so bad. Why the hell would she be demon/evil I don't get it. Sure she has lost a lot but all those damages made them a tough lady. At least that's how I know her.
