I've created a document that lists all possible main and alt class combinations while still maintaining a maximum amount of three characters. It's a cheat sheet for what alt classes to gear up, or which alt classes to create, so you can obtain the mount with as less effort as possible. This should come in handy once the mage tower becomes available on the PTR and people can start making preparations for the live version.

Blizzard is completely nuts for even creating this achivement... What are they thinking? That their players don't have real life and have each and every character of their game on their acc maxed out on max lvl or what? Jesus.... Probably the most impossible achivement that they have ever made. God damn you Activision, you completely ruined Blizzard... Also, the gear reduction on current patch (Shadowlands) is also nuts. I damage like 600-1000 tops into Agatha with fire mage, and she has 156k hp. Like seriously, what the hell...

Okay i just completed this and thought of sharing my experience
i'll rank them from easiest to hardest (based on the class/spec i attempted the challenge)
Easiest (faceroll tier)
- 'An Impossible Foe' - Agatha
attempted as a fury warrior - one shot attempt. (tips: put crusader on your weapons it's too op even after nerf)
- 'The God-Queen's Fury' - Sigryn -
attempted as an enhancement shaman - almost a one shot (tips: zerg all 3 of them, hex Sigryn as he's casting his big spell , then break it and carry on with dps, leave capacitor for the whirlwind.
- 'Feltotem's Fall' - Tugar Bloodtotem
attempted as a windwalker monk - the encouter itself is easy, my only problem was keeping track of the burrow, maybe i had to play with my settings a little because it was a bit hard to keep track of the burrowed boss while it charges and goes around. other than that the encounter was really easy imo.
Easy-Medium (it takes few attempts to get used to the mechanics and maybe a bit of luck)
- Thwarting the twins - Magespear brothers
attempted as a frost mage, Frost mage is king here, most of your damage will be coming from blizzard, my tip here is to make sure Blizzard is always up and it is hitting Raest whenever he's active, grab some big int procs trinkets to boost the blizzard even further.
-Closing the eye - Xylem
I did this one last.
I felt a bit over confident after agatha and tried to do this as arms warrior, after just few attempts i felt that my healing wasn't enough and i since i already had the warrior mog, i decided to go for sub rogue instead and never looked back.
Hard
- End of the risen threat - Erdis Thorn (Healer challenge)
Attempted as Holy Paladin.
this is a hard encounter, i did not try it with any other healing spec, but reading through guides they all recommend doing as holy and i think i agree,
You basically have a counter for almost every mechanic this challenge throw at you.
my recommendation here is spend few tries to just learn the encounter, don't pot, dont' flask don't do anything, just learn it.
Once you get used to Phase 1, then it won't be a problem anymore, then you start getting used to phase 3.
Hardest
-The Highlord's Return - Kruul (tanking)
Attempted as a guardian druid
Now the difficulty might differ depending on the class/spec, however i wanted that bear skin so i went for it.
I wiped the most here.
Again, similar as the healer challenge, phase 1 is simply a matter of getting used to the mechanics
once understood it'll become so easy to transition. in Phase 2 DPS is super important, make sure to tweak your gear, get sockets and proper trinkets before going in there.

I completed these challenges during the Shadowlands expansion with the old talent system. I am not sure how relevant this will be with the new talent system. This comment occasionally gets upvoted. I am glad people are still using this to help them. I had a lot of fun with these challenges!
I will share my experiences with completing this achievement. I also went ahead and earned all the sets for every class.
I would preface all of this with that I believe I am an all around average, to slightly above average player. I have earned the Keystone Master Achievements each season during Shadowlands and back in Battle for Azeroth. Some of these challenges were easy (for me) and others were not. I main an Assassination Rogue, and have more than 15 years of experience playing the Rogue class. Generally speaking, I would ignore if other people say that ones were "face roll easy", "free", etc. Skill is very subjective and every player is different. When the Mage Tower was first introduced back in December of '21, I was very irritated and annoyed with "overtuned" I felt it was, but this really motivated me to try and knock out each class. The first class I attempted was the Frost Mage in the Thwarting the Twins challenge. I absolutely got %^&*ing wrecked, I probably attempted it around 100 times and couldn't even get Raest to below 50%.
This post is to simply share my experiences with each challenge, and which class I used. I am not going to get hyper detailed about the specifics of each fight, but I am more than happy to answer any questions in the comments if you have any. For guides for the fights that I used, I either went to Timewalking Discord (which is linked in the sheet above) and asked questions, or I watched YouTube guides.
When I initially read about the Mage Tower, I read that people were using gear from the Siege of Orgrimmar raid, but didn't really understand what they meant. Despite everything getting scaled down to ilvl 50, there are still better options for trinkets and ways to further optimize your gear.
It doesn't let me link the Google document sheet; but if Google "WoW Timewalking Discord", join it; you can find the sheet there.
This sheet is hands down the best resource available when it comes to gearing up the character you want to run the Mage Tower with. Now, is this absolutely necessary? No. Will it make each challenge easier? One hundred *!@#ing percent. As I mentioned before when I attempted the Frost Mage challenge. After getting a majority of the gear listed, I was able to complete it in roughly 4 attempts. Now, a lot of that fight is mechanics, but the damage is obviously necessary, too. So, if you're looking for some shortcuts, use the aforementioned sheet.
Now, the trick to getting this gear is you either need a friend, second account or the character completing the challenge to be level 44 or 45.
This 44 or 45 character needs to be doing Chromie Time!
This way the gear will drop at ilvl 50, having the best stats possible. I used a second account with a level 44, that character basically followed around the character I wanted the gear for, we'd go into the instance; I'd kill everything with my main, the 44 would loot the boss; and would trade needed items to my main. You'll want to turn off experience on the low level character, this can be done by talking to

in Stormwind or
斯拉兹
in Orgrimmar.
My level 44 character had just over 3 /played days on it. This character geared every single class for me; so it isn't the fastest process for all, but it doesn't take that long for just one.
Generally speaking, these items are going to have the biggest impact on your fights:

. These are consistent across all classes, all specs. The sheet has other ones suggested, too; but these ones were the easiest to get, for me. Dragonspine Trophy can be tough because you only have one shot a week, but at the most, it only took me two weeks to get it. I did however try to get as much gear as I could for each of my characters, but I did ignore the rings for every class.
I did use WeakAuras for each of these fights; I just Googled what I needed and installed them that way.
I am going to to write which challenges I felt were the easiest to hardest with each class and spec.
Easiest difficulty:
Agatha - An Impossible Foe
Fury Warrior
:
Agatha spawns adds consistently throughout the fight, but with whirlwind, Bladestorm and

; the adds fall extremely quickly and you're able to get a lot of time DPS'ing Agatha and you're able to constantly heal yourself. I believe this fight only took me around 10 attempts or so. The adds take priority in this fight above all else. I would leap or charge to

, hamstring it and then focus the other to kill it then switch back to the other. The adds that she spawns roughly every 60s or which aligns perfectly with your Bladestorm and Recklessness abilities. However, when these imps spawn, I learned to wait a few seconds until they teleport before dropping

aren't too terrible, you really only want to worry about dropping the Plague Zones off on either the front of the back of the room for the second part of the fight. I used Drums once she was sub 35% and was able to add Execute into my rotation. I believe my DPS was right around 1000.

Much like Fury, the Shamans abilities make this fight pretty straight forward. I ran

which really keeps your Maelstrom topped off for a lot of the fight.

is on a 60s cool down, which again aligns perfectly with when she spawns the imps. If you're able to, you can preemptively time a Capacitor Totem for this part,

helps tremendously here. I believe I got this fight in about 3 attempts.
Feral Druid
Feral Druids have a lot of mobility, good AoE and nice heals. As mentioned above with the other classes, cleave the adds down as fast as you can and use Entangling Roots to CC the healing ones. I remember on this fight, my DPS was roughly 700-800. It took me around 7 attempts.
Feltotem's Fall
Whirlwind Monk
:
I only leveled my Monk to 50 and decided to attempt this. I had never played a Whirlwind monk in my entire WoW career; I level him as Brewmaster. I already had a lot of experience with this fight from doing it on several other classes. I'll explain more about it down below. Generally speaking, the Monk has a lot of stuns, knock downs and interrupts to choose from which really make this fight straight forward. Lining up Jormog is essential to taking off his defensive stacks. You only get two attempts each time he is up, so make them count. Like I said, I didn't really have any understanding of what the rotation was, etc; I just read about the abilities and used what sounded appropriate. I didn't even pop drums on this fight because I couldn't find a good window to do it in. I downed this fight in about 6 attempts.
Feltotem's Fall
Beastmaster Hunter
Your pets really trivialize this fight. I used some random WoD Nagrand Clefthoofs and never had to heal them once. Making a macro for
恐吓野兽
and
胁迫
make dealing with some of the
邪能爆裂
easy to deal with. When Intimidation and Counter-Shot are on cool down, throw your freezing trap to interrupt it that way. On this class, this fight is forgiving; there were times I missed an interrupt and my pet died, I was able to resurrect and keep going. You're also able to kill Tugar first and have your pet tank Jormog without issue; just still interrupt his Sonic Scream ability. I think Jor had around 80% life when Tugar died. I believe I got this in around 10 attempts.
Medium difficulty:
Feltotem's Fall
Destruction Warlock
This fight isn't hard per se, but there's a lot of moving parts, cast times, etc; so things can get a bit chaotic. I am not the best with casting classes, but I distinctly remembering eating a few Fel Bursts and was able to heal myself up with drain life or a healthstone. I kill Tugar first and let my Fel Hunter tank Jormog; I think Jor had around 70-85% life when Tugar died. I just popped drums and kept myself topped off with my healing abilities. This fight took me around 10 attempts.
Sigryn - The God-Queen's
Retribution Paladin
I hadn't really played Retribution spec since WoD and again, didn't have the best idea of the rotation, etc. The burn phase is right at the start; grab them in a corner; pop drums, Avenging Wrath, Unbridled Fury potions; blow your load. This fight is macro intensive and you need to hit certain interrupts or it's a wipe. This fight is somewhat RNG based with how far the biggest/smallest runes are spread out, where
黑暗之翼
spawn at. I would say this fight is harder because of that RNG. The good news is, you only need to get Sigryn to 20%. The WoWhead article for this fight has the macros you'll want to use. I remember doing around 1300 DPS on this fight and it took me around 20 attempts.
Assassination Rogue
Despite maining a Rogue for years, this fight took me around 35 attempts or so. I definitely remember playing poorly and failed to maintain my bleeds on all targets at times. When I defeated Sigryn, I had died at the hands of Dark Wings; but my bleeds and poisons were still ticking which pushed her over the edge.
That being said, don't release if you're close and still have some dots on her!
Thwarting the Twins
Frost Mage
The worst part about this fight is that it's extremely unforgiving; basically everything is a one shot mechanic and there's zero room for error. I used my Water Elemental to move to the runes. There's also a lot of RNG when it comes to Fingers of Frost procs, etc; which can make or break the fight in my opinion. As mentioned above, this fight took me around 100 attempts before I had any Chromie Time gear. I will again emphaize that caster classes are not my strong point; so that probably had a lot to do with my failures.
Hard difficulty
Feltotem's Fall
Discipline Priest
This fight was $%^&ing terrible. The biggest reason is because you do such %^&* damage. I think I averaged around 330 DPS the entire fight which made the fight last around 10-11 minutes. The only interrupts you have is
心灵尖啸
, that's it. That's *!@#ing it. You're able to dual interrupt Fel Burst and Sonic Scream at times with this, but that's it. To deal with Tugars' other Fel Burst, it's a ^&*!ing balancing act. You need to
渐隐术
and then about 2-3 seconds later cast
摧心魔
. A good time to do this is when Tugar has about ~5 seconds or so left when he's casting

The worst, and I mean
WORST
part about this fight is when Tugar starts casting Fel Burst out of order where you don't have an interrupt for it. I don't know if this is a bug, or just an RNG of the fight; but it will literally make or break the fight in most cases. I distinctly remember on my kill, he got out of order and I had to blow some defensive cooldowns to survive; he eventually got back on track in-line with my abilities and I was able to finish it off.
Also, you NEED to kill them both at the same time; you will get absolutely obliterated by anything if one of them enrages. Every time Jormog was up, regardless of how many stacks he had, I always 100% focused him. There were times when he was tunneling around I completely ignored Tugar and didn't even DPS him because he simply die too fast; and again; since you're doing such $%^&ty damage and the window to attack Jormog is so small; you need to make every time he's up count. This fight took me around 70 attempts.
Agatha - An Impossible Foe
Unholy Deathknight
Much like the Whirlwind Monk, I had never played Unholy before in my life. I thought this fight was going to be a cakewalk because it was so easy for me on the other specs. Boy, was I wrong. This fight was incredibly tedious. You don't nearly have the AoE abilities (I felt that was the case any ways) as the other classes did, which makes cleaving the adds more challenging. You also have to worry about positioning a lot in this fight because you'll be running
秽邪契约
. You really need to get good at transforming your pet and getting the most out of the fire chains to get the adds down as soon as you can. I also ran
死亡延伸
instead of
窒息
.
It felt like on this fight, the timings were a lot more close together than the other iterations of the fight; you'd have the healing adds and the other ones all spawning essentially at the same time. I would cast Death and Decay where they spawned, Seed Pod, dot them up and then activate my pet to use the fire chains. I would try and Death Grip the healing adds next to one another so I could cleave them down.
You also have basically no mobility with the exception of Death's Advance; that doesn't help when you're running back and forth between each side of the room. I used drums when she was sub 35% and spammed
灵魂收割
. There were also times I interrupted the healing adds spell and literally waited the 15s cool down to interrupt her shield; this may not be best practice; but it worked for me.
I recall my DPS being around 750ish and this fight took me around 7 minutes at around 40 attempts.
Very Hard
Okay, I am sure this is what you've all been waiting for Guardian, Healing, etc. Well, here we go.
The Highlord's Return
Vengeance Demon Hunter
The Demon Hunter is the easiest class to do this challenge on, specifically because of their leap and glide abilities. This fight only took me around 35 attempts, and I only made it to Kruul four times before I got it. My general plan was to get out of the pool at 5 stacks, let it reset and make it back in time to get the adds to come to me; where I'd drop a sigil, Seed Pod and just cleave them down. You also need to be very mindful of the eyes that spawn around and take them out accordingly. The Infernals can be ignored, but sometimes I would attack them to generate some orbs to heal with.
Once Krull pops out, it's time to blast and cruise.
Pop everything. Pop everything. Drums, Unbridled Potion. EVERYTHING.
Each
生灵俱灭
needs to be address accordingly. You can start by just popping
恶魔尖刺
, but the damage ramps up, so each time you need to use more and more because the damage increases. Do not be afraid to use the orbs in any stage, that's what they're there for. Just be mindful if you leap over them, they will activate. A lot of my early wipes were leaping over them as the adds came out, which stunned them which just messed up my rhythm. I could definitely get away with popping
恶魔变形
at the start of the fight; it was off cool down by the time I needed it again. I think I ended the fight with 3 Infernals up. I think this took me around 40 attempts.
Guardian Druid
I would say this fight probably has the most guides out of any due to the most unique skin this game has ever seen. Generally speaking, you're coming and going from Variss, when you're out I was casting Wrath to get as much DPS as I could; then going back in to interrupt him; cleaving the adds as they came down and using Barkskin and casting Moonfire on the Eyes as they spawned. Once Krull is out, you need to be very mindful of all the knock back mechanics, because you don't have the luxury of Glide like the Demon Hunter does. This took me around 70 attempts.
Closing the Eye
Arms Warrior
This fight was pretty tough for me. It was a fairly big learning curve. I watched a lot of guides and adapted my strategy to those. The initial

phase, I would Bladestorm down and always charge him through the beam; it didn't hurt too bad. For subsequent Razor Ice storms, you can leap out of it. if If I happened to miss an interrupt and needed some life; I would fear him and let

heal me. When you need to get the sparkly stuff, find the shortest path and charge and leap your way to it. At this point, it's essential that you save your interrupt for

On the second phase, I swapped my talents to

. I popped everything at the start of this phase. Run away when he casts
黑暗之种
, snare the adds, cleave them and continue to kite the boss around the perimeter of the room.
This fight was also pretty tedious for me; it took me around 65 attempts.
End of the Risen Threat
Holy Paladin
The phase of this fight is absolutely unforgiving. All of your cool downs and abilities must be used on time or you'll likely wipe. When you're targeted with the blue arrow, just stand with the friendly NPCs in the middle so it hits them and drains their mana instead of yours.

was interrupted with Turn Evil, Blinding Light, etc; these needs to be interrupted or it'll just wreck you. I ran Avenging Wrath for the first half of the fight, it made it easier for me, I felt.
At the start of the second area, I bubbled and just AoE'd them down; your bubble will be off cool down by the time you need it again. I took my time going up the stairs, waiting for cool downs and really just milking it.
When I made it to the final area, I got as close as I could to the green area and Consecrated the ground and used Judgement when it was available and kept healing all the relevant things. I only made it to this point 5 times before I got it; this fight took me around 80 attempts.
I hope this post was insightful and it was able to give people trying these challenges some outlook on the fights. Good luck on your mount and transmog armor.

As of 10.0.5 the Mage Tower is now permenant, but the achievement still says to complete the challenges "During Legion Timewalking". Will be interesting to see if these challenges are still tied to Timewalking and the inbetween periods are only good for Transmogs and practice.

I completed this challenge on season 1 of dragonflight expansion. I've always been something of an altoholic myself so i'm remotely familiar with every specs broad gameplay pattern. I got something like 25+ artifact mage tower apereances in the last patch of legion when I started to play. To be short, this challenge is harder than in the legion days.
In terms of gearing, as the people say, its not necessary but it makes everything a ton easier. Mostly my pattern for this was searching on the auction house for crafted dragonflight rings, necklaces, capes and enchants, everything i would easily get some good stats on or even with a socket. then i bought bfa gems of primary stat ( krakken's eyes and leviathan eyes ) , the leech dragonflight enchants give you a very big boost in case you survive a mech and heal little by little. Getting to lvl 70 its not mandatory but the extra talents are always a dps increase or survivability increase ). I will get more in detail in each character case cause it was not always the case.
I will bring more detail on each class/spec that i did. If you need more information look the wowhead guides and youtube videos ( you will search mostly for consumables like gems and enchants and talent builds), some people have done really detailed guides
I found a google spreadsheets to know all the specs and the challenges they could do, and maybe at the end of season 2 I will attempt the challenge with classes I haven't tried yet, but for now my take on this is that its a fun challenge, just try to do it little by little, learn a new spec/class/role and go for it, if you dont like to level every class, just do all the challenges available for your main, prepare by playing some raid, m+, pvp, and getting the gear and spec familiarity from that, then its just like any other raid boss, learn the mechs and how to do them on guides, youtube videos and try some combinations of talents, not everyone likes the same talents, or has the same number of keybinds, so adjust to whatever suits you.
I will not mention all the details but some general advice for each spec I did, because I briefly saw that every spec has a way to do the bits of the fights, for example, for arcane mage ( same boss as ret pala ) you use polymorph instead of repentance and so on.

Guardian druid - the tank challenge:
This was the first challenge I attempted, and to be clear it felt kinda easy. My bear had all dragonfligth gear without onyx amulet ( at the time i was comfortable tanking +16s keys). i had heroic razs trinket ( equip one ) and it contributed a ton of damage, but the challenge its maneagable just for being bear, the eyes that beam you are moonfire reachable, barskin aligns with the 4 void adds spawn and you can wild charge if you get hit by the infernal. on ph2 the damaga of bear is there, just focus on using defensives and kicking the bosses cast. I watched like 2 youtube guides for this challenge mostly to remember the general mechs of the encounter.
Destruction warlock - the worm challenge:
This challenge was getting a bit harder for me, in legion days I turbo oneshot this one on bm hunter and ww monk ( maybe another one but i dont remember ). I had to relearn the mechs but the major gist of it is, dont try to focus dps the tauren, the challenge is easy if you just dot him and aoe him, cause the success of this depends on making the worm pass by the stones to remove the defensives stacks until it has 2 or 3. then depending on class ( in warlock its easy ) focus your single on the tauren and then begin to turret the worm, using your cc that you previously used on the tauren to kick the big cast, to avoid the damage of the scream that the worm does. My warlock was my "main" during season 1 of dragonflight, so it had good trinkets like ragefeather and shadowgem, lariat and bis dragonflight stats, even some sockets from the vault tokens of merit.
Subtely rogue - crazy mage fight:
I have a love/hate history with rogue because its the only class I dont have any mage tower weapon appereances. I leveled one from lvl 1 to 70. Then i began my standard gearing process in the AH, i had some forbidden reach gear ( but it had a ton of haste so i replaced it with cheap pvp crafted or pve crafted gear from dragonfligth ). I got the onyx amulet on this char with the standard gems i got to look on murlok.io . This challenge its about surviving the firsts mechs, and then a ton of dps on the void boss before getting all the floor with the poodle. The first part its easy, save some shadowstep for the ices that surround you, remember to shadowstep to the copies on the copies mech ( you can even vanish and shadowstrike ). kick the frostbolts that hit the hardest and the orb power funnels. Dont use any major CD when the mage hace like 30% so you have them for the last boss. Something that helped me to do better on 2nd phase was changing talents for that phase, save a vanish charge or shadowmeld and change talents and weapon poisons for the slow one to aoe burst the adds and have a good st on the boss. i got cornered and had to use all my defensives when i ran out of area and the boss was in enrage, but with leech and some luck i got it before he got me.
Retribution paladin - angry vrykul boss:
I mostly play prot pala but i didnt want to repeat class. I got an AH weapon and some enchants for that ( i already was comfortable tanking +18s ), i had the onyx amulet like on sub rogue. As ret its kinda a new spec after the rework i saw some new guides and talent builds. The major thing on this figth its to stay on melee range from the runespeaker caster, so you can move it around the room. Big wigs had a very loud timer for the blood of the father cast, to interrupt it on time with repentance, use hammer of justice on the bladestorm. and be very mindful of the mehcs to come. i got a ton of trys here just because i had a distraction and got slammed by the wave of val'kyrs. pally has a bubble so dont be fearful of using it if you feel that its a good try and you cant get to the floor runes or avoid the wave of val'kyrs. each try focus on mastering the counter of a mech and after a few ( or tenths in my case ) you will do it even after the boss alerts ( learning the phrases for each mech is also a good idea ).
Fury warrior - fat imp mother has to die:
Mostly same history from ret pala, geared to easily tank +18s my prot warr has onyx amulet, lariat, CoS ring, tank trinkets and all. This challenge is more about ... what cd can i spend to oneshot this wave of ads .... and thats the hole fight in a nutshell. Use Ravager/ spear of bastion for the pair of imps that heal agatha, use odyns fury / avatar to kill the adds that immune her, stormbolt to kill the fuming imp that leaves a puddle and recklesness at cd to bring down agatha, all while dodging the balls from p2 to the kill. I got to do so many trys just because i got my tank stuff on( fixed with world quest trinkets and so ) and learning without looking the order of the cds to spend.
Shadow priest * - brothers betrayal:
This challenge put me to the test but in an inexpected way. my original plan was to do it on frost mage but i didnt manage to get it on that, i could do enough damage to the center caster brother before I aoe killed the melee brother that pursues you. after 50 attempts on frost I learned the figth so well that i switched to shadow priest and literally melted away all the enemies, either interrupt the hands or spend a void torrent or some devouring plagues on them to knock them down, shadow crash the adds and fear them if a summoning circle appears. The whole strategy was, when possible bring down the caster brother, then, bring down the melee brother and the priority adds, after the 3rd time he heals to full, kill the melee brother and use the off healing utility of shadow priest like vampiric embrace, shields, flash heal and mindgames to survive the now mechanically easy but dmg heavy caster brother phase until he was dead. My shadow priest was my option for the healing challenge but frost mage didnt do it for me so i had to buy new gear to adjust to dps needs, i didnt even need onyx amulet or something fancy ) ( this felt so succesful on shadow, and i think it was because i learned too well the fight from doing it on frost mage )

Restoration shaman* - welcome back to BRH:
Now in my last challenge before the achivement, i got out of so many healers i had somewhat prepared (cause i didnt want to use the same class on different challenges )( druid, pally, priest were already used ). Reading some guides mistweaver was the easy/safe option, so i went all ahead to the mage tower at lvl 60, with a not known spec for the challenge, and miserably failed, the melee playstyle of mistweaver its something im not accustomed at all ( i mostly play ranged ) so i used the mistweaver to level a bit and learn the fight, but finally after 10 attempts on ph1 ( of 7 or 8 phases ) i decided to instead use my most familiar healing spec to the day, resto shaman. I felt at home on this spec and attempted the challenge at lvl 60, and failed again, so i decided to instead level to 70 and gear, but something got in my way, it was fun this time, i did all the szkera vaults and farmed a ton of rares to get the season 1 tier set, appereances and just having fun, i got a wq intelect trinket, i had one of the random ones you can buy on zereth mortis and attempted the challenge, just being sure of applying my knowledge, stay behind an npc on the arrow mana drain attack, stun then 2 knife tornadoes are happening, kick the mage cast, and wolf run/earthbind/stormsurge the raged adds, being careful and using as much mana as i could, cause you get a ton of intermissions to replenish mana. then, i got 1 attempt on the eyes phase that i learned about in a youtube video, then all the same with some adds here and there. its useful to read the wowhead guide to know what its to come and seeing some videos to lear how to counter the abilities. I never attempted the heal challenge on legion so it was a fun learning curve. on last phase just try to heal all the ads that come towards the boss on phs 5, if you get 1 or 2 on ph 6 its not a wipe, and then just stay on the border asap in ph 7 and run towards the border, stay in the poodle to keep yourself at 30% and heal your teammates, weaving some damage in between, and if you die, dont release, i saw a streamer getting the challenge after 30s dead cause of the hots on the npcs.

Thought I'd add a comment purely if you're looking for the easiest specs to get the

in Dragonflight after the re-re-release (at least from my perspective).
- As a note, I completed every mage tower in 10.1.7 so things may differ slightly after this point due to tuning and class changes. My main is a lock so I won't be recommending lock due to potential bias.
- Also as a note, none of the classes listed below were my first character through the challenge, so I was already pretty confident with the mechanics with weakauras and macros set up ready to go with some tweaks.
Regarding each character:
- all were level 70 with full talent tree access
- all were in full 376 greens (bought from the AH) with no attention paid to stats
- all had
残缺的种荚
and
活跃炼金石
as their trinkets
- all had heirloom weapons upgraded to ilevel 127
- all were fully enchanted, with flask and food buffs
Classes/specs I'd choose for each challenge along with attempts and some comments:
Feltotem’s Fall - Disc Priest - 3 attempts
Found this a little undertuned compared to the DPS specs. PW:Shield yourself for every Fel Burst and you don't even need to interrupt. Remember to dispell the dot on yourself immediately. Focus on avoiding mechanics so you can concentrate on DPSing as much as possible. I'd recommend getting Jormog as low as possible before killing Tugar as damage from Sonic Scream really hurts in phase 2. Defensives should be saved and rotated for each Sonic Scream in phase 2 and you'll eventually just run out and be overwhelmed by the damage, which is why I'd recommend getting Jormog as low as possible. Also really helps in phase 1 that you can just heal up any mistakes, taking the pressure off when compared to some other specs.
The God Queen’s Fury - Enhancement Shaman - 1 attempt
Incredibly undertuned compared to some other specs. Create a Hex Macro (eg /cast Hex) to interrupt Sigryn so you don't need to physically target switch during her Blood of the Father cast, use Capacitor totem for Jarl's Bladestorm and just go full AoE. If you can consistently cleave all three with talents like Crash Lightning the damage check really isn't a big deal. The rest is just about executing mechanics.
Thwarting the Twins - Shadow Spriest - 1 attempt
Realatively easy compared to some other specs. Staying out of melee range on Karam isn't an issue in the chase phases. Shadow Crash and Psychic Link pretty much deal with the small adds once they start spawning. Remember to always focus the hands and don't interrupt until the end of the cast. Runes always needs to be soaked and I'd recommend saving Dispersion for Runes just in case you get caught in a bad position. Apart from that, there's not much else going on. I chose to kill Karam before Raest because a Flash Heal here and there was enough to keep me topped up through his enrage.
Closing the Eye - Arms Warrior - 4 attempts
Jump-Heroic Leap every first and third comet storm whilst AoEing the second during Frost Phase. Intermission can be a bit RNG, but checking the minimap and immediately running towards the image and Heroic-leaping should work most of the time. Nothing special about the Arcane phase, just keep dodging and interrupt the channel ASAP. After he phases at 10%, remember to change talents before Corrupting Darkness boss spawns to take talents specifically for the adds. Always run far with the adds and kill them quickly. The dps check on the boss isn't a push over, but isn't too bad compared to some other specs.
An Impossible Foe - Fury Warrior - 1 attempt
Not much to say about this one. I took all the AoE talents for the adds and everything just melted. Remember to always focus imps over boss, even the ones that explode - easier just to kill than kite them to the edge. Impending Victory is your friend here. Use it as often as possible. The main thing that will screw you over is getting stunned by the boulders. If you need to give yourself a bit of room, do so.
The Highlord’s Return - Guardian Druid - 2 attempts
I found this incredibly undertuned compared to the other tanks. You can Moonfire-spam the eyes from range so can pretty much ignore that mechanic. Guardian has decent AoE so small adds aren't too much of an issue. The main thing that will be your wiper if not used to the challenge is dodging the infernal slams. Getting hit by these is pretty much a game over. Phase 2 isn't much of an issue as long as you are hyper aware of the infernals. Make sure you have a CD rotation for Annihilate and boss will eventually fall over.
End of the Risen Threat - Resto Shaman - 2 attempts
Overall the easiest healer challenge I found. Damage taken in phase 1 is pitiful outside of double knife-dance, which should be Thunderstormed/Capacitor Totemed anyway. Damage check in phase 2 is not an issue. Last phase is just about executing mechanics. The whole healer challenge is just about learning what to use and when. I'd just recommend reading up some guides and watching some videos to know what exactly happens and when. There's not much more to it. This was the last healer challenge I did, but I found Resto Shammy just had the toolkit to deal with everything very well when compared to the other healers.
Some specs may be just as easy to do than some i've listed above, but I've also selected some cross-overs so if you don't have all classes at level 70, you don't need to be levelling a bunch of characters just for one challenge. Based on the above, you can do all 7 challenges above just with a Priest, Shaman, Druid and Warrior.
The only two specs I'd absolutely avoid at all costs currently are:

The Guardian druid Challenge, don't bother about people saying "it was the easiest one blabla" it's not.
It's gonna stress you out, it's gonna make you rage, cry, beg, anything just to be able to first see the phase 2. And when you will reach it, you will cry some more.
Second phase is... one word: Chaotic. You deal with EVERYTHING you left from phase 1 except the drain life, horrors keep spawning, the infernal come back to life either.
So people saying "keep your dps for phase 2" its... uhmm kinda true, but dont feel relax in P1.
I did that mistake a few times, infernals are dying over time so I was just dot'ing em a bit and was focusing horrors, same for boss. But when I was reaching P2, there was always 3 infernals up, and I was rapidly overwhelm and unable to dodge all crashes. So I started to dps boss and dot him (trash the more I can, moonfire) until I have 4-5 stacks, interrupt Drain life and leave mid, taking care of infernal like I wanted them to die as fast as possible, going back to mid after horrors and when debuff was gone to dps and dot boss again, rinse and repeat. I quickly noticed that I was reaching P2 BEFORE a 3rd infernals came, and I was able to start the P2 with a clear room, infernals still trying to resurrect. That way I was able to focus on my interrupt, popping all my cds (including drums), and taking care to use Velen's orbs only when the boss was doing an ability so I could extend the fight the more I can. Used Barkskin only on 3rd big attack, orbs the 4th and 5th, survival the 6th at the same time boss was dying.
This challenge is insanely.... challenging. It's gonna take ALL your deep hidden skills, and a lot of attempts.
If you happen to die multiple time in a row from getting knocked out platform because you didnt pay enough attention to crashes, take a 5-10 min break, it will help you get some focus back. I took a night off after 2 attempts in a row with boss killing me at 5-8k hp left and not enough dot to die from npcs. Came back the afternoon after, first pull, same %. 3rd attempt, that *&?"/$%?& finally died, as I was shouting so many unreligious words to it.
Don't surrender, if I did it, everyone have that power!

Some generic advice for all challenges:
Save a new talent build. Whether you import one or craft your own, inspect it regularly between attempts and make changes based on what is/isn't working for you. A lot of staple talents that are effectively mandatory in normal content have no use in these challenges, so you have a lot of spare points to use on making your attempts work for you - if you're getting hit too hard, pick up some more defensives. If you're struggling to keep up with interrupts look for extra stuns or CD reduction. Most of this will come from the class tree (left side) but you can also do a lot on the spec specific side depending if you need more single target or aoe, burst or sustain.
Similar to the first point, by creating a new talent build your action bars will save to that build. Prune them aggressively. If you can't use mass res or polymorph or any other spell/item/whatever inside the challenge, just take it off your bars. Makes the important stuff visually more accessible - especially when using unfamiliar alts. Reorganise your spells to put priority abilities/macros for the encounter where you can easily access them.
Create macros. Even if its just a simple one to switch target to the priority DPS/CC/interrupt, you have the space on your bars now and it can save you headaches.
There's plenty of gearing guides but if you aren't interested in hours of farming to min/max your stats (which shouldn't be necessary anyway) the basics you need to know about gear are:
Your gear scales down to ilvl 120, so you can use any item at ilvl120 or above. Most gear will have the same stat budget so items with sockets gain more stats overall. Otherwise just look for gear with the right combination of secondary stats, or with bonus leech or speed. Some legendaries have a higher stat budget, so they can be worth using even though the effect is disabled. Take them all in with you and compare the stats to your equipped gear during the staging period at the start.
Trinkets are where it gets weird. The scaling on the trinket effects is all over the place (even some of the guides with BiS trinkets from old raids have comments from people saying they didn't work) and you basically just have to check your damage meters after an attempt to see if your trinket effect is actually performing or not. The most reliable trinkets are pure stats, or the basic ones from WQs and such, with effects like "chance on hit, deal X damage/gain X stats".
Finally, always keep in mind that these fights are supposed to be mechanics based challenges. It is to be expected that it will take a number of attempts building the muscle memory for how to deal with each new mechanic as the fight progresses e.g. you may take 10 attempts to figure phase 1 out, then an extra 10 attempts on phase 2, etc. add onto that the dumb mistakes we all make and ~50 attempts is not at all unreasonable if it's your first time on a challenge.

Decided to give this achievement a shot, so far done only two bosses, but they went down very easily, so I got encouraged to try the rest of them. Currently gearing all others with timewalking gear, since it makes a
HUGE
difference (at least on my experience).
Geared my unholy dk first with TW gear and consumables, enchants etc. I read from eariler comments that unholy dk is very difficult, so I was pretty sure I'd be stuck here for a while. To my surprise, the boss
melted
, and the adds didn't live longer than 2secs, I even forgot to use drums on this encounter. I got it the first try. Encouraged by this victory I decided to ramp up the challenge quite a lot; guardian druid next.
Now, the guardian druid encounter was already familiar to me, as I had done it in Legion, but I had also tried to get the felbear appearance in DF. Anddd....

THAT was messy tbh. I went in with DF gear, couldn't get the first boss even to 90% hp, got absolutely annihialated by the mobs. Thought to myself "aight, you know what? Never mind. I'm never gonna get the felbear and that's fine since I got the og from Legion, never coming back here again". And yet, here I was. Geared with TW gear, consumables, and enchants, ready to try if the TW gearing really made that much of a difference. AND IT DID. Took me only ~9 attempts, from which probably 6 was me ^&*!ing up by getting yeeted off the platform and forgot to use my glider, the other fails were final boss being at 6% and 1% and one of the NPC's dying... On my last attempt I thought "*!@# it, I'm going full berserk" and just popped everything in P1, stood in the purple stuff and just blasted the first boss to nothingness. The first boss was only able to summon one wave of adds (the ones from the portals), which I destroyed with

and Lunar Beam. The boss just
MELTED
, and Kruul jumped down in no time. That's where I popped drums and flask and used Velen's orbs that I had saved. Didn't even get close to falling off and the boss was dead in no time.
This is a significant feat for me personally, as I absolutely
suck
at such challenges. These two victories give me hope that maybe I'll be able to eventually get this achievement as well.

Achievement earned 3/3/24
I wanted to add to this and throw some tips out there for anyone trying to complete this. The mount is unique, I haven’t seen very many of them in game and it has some neat animations when it is in a “ground mount only” area
To preface: most of these challenges were not new to me, I did all of them in Legion except for the healer challenge so I was familiar with the encounters and mechanics for the most part
I started off only doing the guardian druid challenge earlier in the expansion for the werebear form – about a month ago I decided to go after the mount. Except for using the Ravaged Seed Pod trinket for a few of the encounters I did not use any old gear, I was using m+ or current raid gear
General tips: if your only goal is the mount, use classes that can complete the challenge more easily. More on that below. As I said, I had current gear so I don’t believe farming old gear is necessary, but make sure whatever gear you use is fully enchanted, gemmed and that your stat allocation supports the build you are using.
End of the Risen Threat
I will start with the one that was the most difficult for me, because I had never done it before. I tried to do this on my Paladin and Druid, but P1 was proving very difficult. After consulting some different forum advice, I switched to my Shaman. It took me roughly 25-30 attempts to understand how to get through P1, but once I did it was not a difficult fight. I beat the challenge the first time I successfully reached phase 5, the last couple phases of the fight were easier than I thought they would be.
Tips: The more stuns/interrupts you have, and the more efficient you are with them, the better. Understanding the abilities that will wipe you and making sure you can properly CC them is the key here.
P5 and P7 (if you do P5 properly there is not P6, which was the case for me) are extremely easy – that being said, watch a guide, preferably a video guide, and be familiar with what’s going to be asked of you before you reach them. If I hadn’t done that I likely would have wiped.
If you are struggling getting through P1, I recommend giving a Shaman a try. Was much easier for me despite rarely playing a resto shaman. The amount of CC and interrupts they have trivializes the first phase compared to other healers (my opinion only).
Thwarting the Twins
I did this fight on 4 different classes in Legion, and was very familiar with it. I used my boomkin, rightly thinking that the single target burst they are capable of would make it easier. I did not kill Karam. By the final phase Raest was at about 30%, I popped drums and CA and burned him.
Tips: A target focus macro for wild mushrooms on Karam makes this fight a lot easier. Keeping him slowed is a priority and that is the easiest way to do it.
Vortex saved me for soaking the runes. When you know one is about to pop be as far from it as possible and drop vortex on the adds and Karam away from it so you can soak it without taking other damage
While you’re blowing up Raest at the end make sure you do not miss any hands or runes – I did have a few sub 5% percent wipes because I was tunneling the boss and not paying attention. Overall this was not a difficult challenge, but it is chaotic at the end. I have read it is also very easy on a Mage, which it was in Legion but have not tested it personally.
Closing the Eye
I tried this on a Demon Hunter and got frustrated quickly. After doing some internet research I switched to my hunter. This was the easiest of the challenges for me, I killed it on my 5th pull – I don’t play hunter often, but they have a dominate tool kit for this encounter – jump + disengage gets you out of every ice prison, you have harpoon and flare to completely cheese p2, and harpoon to keep reengaging Xylem when he ports away. For the final phase survival completely wrecks the adds before they can reach the boss.
Tips: time your disengage at the apex of your jump, and you will never hit icicles. Use harpoon to reengage. Keep mend pet on CD. When you transition kill the closest mirror, and harpoon your way to the next one until you are close enough to launch a flare on Xylem, which instantly transitions him
For the last phase drag the boss to the absolute edge, you cannot fall off. And move him slowly. The blackness underneath him has a deceptive image, it has to be almost completely under you before it damages you. I got clipped by it once and hit my selfheal, clipped a second time and ignored it backing up and healed back via leech. I have read that people having issues in this phase are simply moving the boss too much or too quickly. I killed him before we made it completely around the circle.
The God-Queen’s Fury
I did this on my Demo Lock and it was not bad. About 35 pulls.
Tips: Mechanics over everything else. Especially with a pet, your damage is fine as long as you survive. Pay attention to the things that can absolutely wreck you, Ancestral Knowledge, Blood of the Father and Dark Wings. Easiest way to fail is tunneling too much and not watching your DBM timers. Be prepared for every mechanic before it happens. Fear and mortal coil control Sigryn especially well for Blood of the Father, though you can Axe Toss her as well.
Remember that the encounter ends successfully when you are done with Sigryn.
An Impossible Foe
I beat my head against this is on my rogue for a while, then swapped to my feral druid and killed it in 3 pulls. Some of the scaling seems very odd between classes on the same challenge, and this was certainly one of them.
Tips: focus on mechanics, again. Have a kill priority for the Imps, and don’t waver from it. Save drums until she is low on health, and make sure you are on top of your interrupts. This fight does seem a little buggy to me as far as the spawn timers for the Imps. I have read that it is also very easy on a death knight – I did do it on a DK, Druid and Mage in legion, but have only cleared it on a druid this go around so cannot comment on that.
The Highlord’s Return
I’ve completed this on a druid, demon hunter and paladin this time. I thought it was easiest on the demon hunter, because of glide. Phase one is entirely about not missing interrupts and add priority. I found the key to killing this was to transition at the right time (when you don’t have adds up). Every time I have killed this I transitioned clean, with 3-4 orbs up. I always set Kruul as my focus so I can see his casts more clearly. Letting a Twilight Reflection go is a guaranteed wipe. Remember that the orbs interrupt Annihilate. Save drums and have all CDs up for P2. Ravaged Seed Pod does an insane amount of damage on this fight, and I used it on all my kills.
Do not get discouraged on this fight. It takes some practice to start getting through P1 cleanly and consistently, once you do a kill is not far away. Don’t panic in P2 – keep a priority list and follow it. Make sure you don’t ignore the horrors in P2.
Feltotem’s Fall
For me personally this was the 2nd easiest. I did this on multiple toons in Legion and was very familiar with it. I used a WW Monk. The monk is very well suited to this fight. Focus Tugar and make sure you don’t miss Fel Burst. Follow mechanics, don’t get stunned, don’t miss an interrupt, and this fight is very easy. Do not ignore the worm. I transitioned at 30% for a kill.

I just completed this achievement yesterday, and I had a significantly easier time with some specs/challenges than others. I'm guessing it was more just how these specs were tuned rather than the challenges themselves, but I didn't really try any other specs so don't take my word for that.
Of the specs I chose to do, I had the easiest time with frost death knight (Closing the Eye), guardian druid (The Highlord's Return), shadow priest (Thwarting the Twins), and windwalker monk (Feltotem's Fall) (completed this one a couple years ago I think, but guessing this ones still relatively easy). I highly recommend these specs. I wasn't familiar with any of them, except for ww monk, and I was able to complete them pretty quickly.
For the God-Queen's Fury/Sigryn challenge, I chose to do arcane mage, and I highly recommend against choosing this spec unless you're very familiar with it. I was not familiar with it, and turns out it is a very confusing spec to learn, and it doesn't feel strong in this challenge. Honestly, even if you're familiar with it, you might want to steer clear because this one was extremely challenging.
I'd also just like to add that it's very helpful to have dbm or weakauras for this challenge (God-Queen's Fury/Sigryn), regardless of which spec you choose. I'm not very familiar with these addons, but it became clear to me that it's basically humanly impossible without some kind of timer (at least for arcane mage) because of how you have to polymorph Sigryn before her Blood of the Father cast goes off. Blood of the Father has a 3 second cast time and polymorph has a 1.7 second cast time before haste. That doesn't give you much leeway, especially if you're already casting something when she begins casting and then you have to wait for the gcd.
For the End of the Risen Threat/healer challenge, I chose to do holy paladin, and while it was very challenging, I'm not too sure that the other specs are any easier. I think I actually did try mistweaver monk for this challenge very briefly, before deciding against it because I already had the monk set from completing it on ww, and iirc holy paladin felt a lot tankier. I had the second hardest time with this challenge.
For the An Impossible Foe/Agatha challenge, I chose to do outlaw rogue and this one was pretty challenging. It didn't take me quite as long as arcane mage or holy pal, but it still felt more challenging than the other ones I did. So might be worth it to look into how other specs fare for this challenge.
Also if you're doing this on a non-level 70 character and you're having a tough time, I recommend leveling them up for more talent points. This wasn't something I wanted to do because I wasn't sure if it'd help, but I ended up leveling my holy pal and arcane mage a few levels (think they were around level 63 when I started and around 67 when I finished), and I feel like those extra talents helped quite a bit. At first I thought maybe lower level characters were tuned to be slightly stronger to compensate for the lower amount of talents, but don't think that's the case anymore. If it is, they're not tuned enough to be preferable to talents, especially the talents that are situated lower on the talent tree.

recommend main stat gems for gear. All scale down to 120. Heirlooms stuff is really good.

I think those challenges are about muscle memory, planning CDs and do not give up and always use full buff

For gear recommend run

raid 25 HR. You can get 2-3 socket items per almost every slot + weapon. Items are scale from 124 to 120 and they got plenty of sockets, which is important in challenge.
As far as socket goes always go for your main stat and then it depends on your budget, I would go all +4 which cost around 20G. Those +6 are usually around 1k gold. So if you struggle go for 6, but for start +4 is way to go.
My lowest stats was 550 with full buff my highest hero was 650 with full buff. Main stat - in inside challenge. This for your comparison
Putting here this GDocs from time walking discord for every class item. Really good stuff for gear. Yet you do not need every item on the list to do it. But it really make it much more easier. So if you struggle recommends to try farm some trinkets as starting point. :

End of the Risen Threat
My main is pally and this one was hard. More stuns more merrier. first phase you can phase your back to the wall, this will force the Add spawn close to you not to open area of the balcony. And def. go for full buff pot, flask etc. whatever give you more stat. Hardest one in my opinion was that you can not try to learn/test next phases, but you "learn first" and wipe on second" etc. You spend 25 minutes and you wiped on the last phase for miss click.
Thwarting the Twins
doing on MM hunter because i wanted set. But I struggled hard. Recom. to google videos how to pull it. And you have to learn how to dance with smalls adds, keep CC the chaser one and find spots do dmg boss. Recommend to play around chain broken tower with chaser you can shot him through it and he can not chase you in first phase
Closing the Eye
To me it was easiest one done it as Arms war. Only hard one was to learn jump out of ice block. And do not charge via center of the beam. My easiest like 9th pull
The God-Queen’s Fury
Done it as retri. Pal is my main so i had good time walking set and really op stuff. Recomd to have good timer addon to wait for phases and play mechanics.
An Impossible Foe
As Fury war some guy here recommends it, but man, it was cancer. Full buff and try hard. Try not to messed up detonate imps. If they detonates in bad spot wipe. Recom start over. Use heirloom swords with Crusader on them. Send and enchanted by 1 lvl alt. I would do this one as some ranged class. Or I think some DK can do it. But war I think it is bad pick.
The Highlord’s Return
People recommends druid as free roll I have done it as level 50 druid "as challenge" but yeah druid or pally are way to go to. Do not worry to use

Did this about 2 months ago during Dragonflight patch 10.2.5, I did not farm any old gear, enchants, timewalking gear, etc. I just used whatever gear I had on my character including random leveling/heroic gear on classes I leveled specifically for this. Having the seed pod trinket probably helps but farming gear for this is definitely not required.
The challenges I did were (from easiest to hardest
for me
):
The Highlord's Return on Guardian Druid:
8 tries total. Feels like it's insanely undertuned. Just spam moonfire on anything that moves in P1, interrupt the cast from the inquisitor and incap roar if the adds get close to finishing cast (they usually died before that for me). Drums in P2 and just zerg the guy down he will fall over insanely fast.
Thwarting the twins on Shadow Priest:
About 10 tries. Pretty easy if you don't follow the guide on Wowhead. Seriously that strat is booty cheeks. Just kill the twin that chases you around in the last phase. The other one will "enrage" but it's really not much damage to deal with. A couple flash heal and PW:S while you DPS him down and that's it. Just make sure to grab Psychic Link and the Shadow Crash talents to AOE the adds.
Closing the Eye on Arms Warrior:
About 15 tries. Quite unforgiving if you make a mistake in the transition or touch the ice on accident but not too bad. Leap out of the ice if you can, if not then cleave it. Use Spell reflect and Impending Victory on CD (killing a part of the ice wall will reset the CD so you can use it multiple times in those phases). Charge between the adds in the intermission to get to his spot faster. The DPS check on the last phase seemed to be quite tight, I actually failed it the first time without Drums. Brought Drums the second time and killed it with maybe 10% of the platform remaining. Overall pretty straight forward and not too bad tho.
An impossible Foe on Elemental Shaman:
About 5 tries on Ele, I did try a bunch of times (20+) on Unholy DK before that which was extremely painful and made me detest this challenge. It is still by far my least favourite but on Ele shaman it was bearable and quite fast so I won't rank it more difficult. What is there to say, she constantly spawns adds, use your Liquid Magma Totem + Prim Wave or Stormkeeper to deal with them. Sustain yourself with Healing Stream Totem and Healing Surge and interrupt the adds that heal her with Cap Totem or Thunderstorm. Being ranged helps a ton in the second phase with the boulders. Prepare for a very long fight.
The God-Queen's Fury on Assassination Rogue:
Around 20 tries. Quite frustrating fight at times, you have to blind her while she is casting her Big damage move, blinding her when it is already going stops the damage aswell but the blind will randomly break very often even if you don't hit her. The axes that the one guy throws fly in a super weird way and I had a hard time dodging them (thank god for massive leech on Rogue otherwise sustain migth've been a problem). Overall a quite tricky fight with lots of stuff going on that you have to pay attention to. It did feel like the DPS check is quite lenient as I killed them quite fast and skipped mechanics that were described in the guide.
Feltotem's fall on Destruction Warlock:
40+ tries. I had a lot of trouble with this one on Destro even tho it shouldn't be too bad objectively. This challenge is just about interrupting the guy and making the worm charge enough of the rocks before you kill Grimtotem. His cast is quite fast (Curse of Tongues helps but you gotta remember to keep it up) so if you don't have interrupt or instant cast CC (Coil or Infernal stun) available you have to react very fast to fear him. On top of that the adds, AOEs, the worm charging and the totem that you have to notice and hit makes this challenge very chaotic and prone to mistakes. You can live a cast of his ability going off with your shield but I wouldn't count on it. You also need some damage saved up to kill the worm before he kills you at the end so it might be worth to delay killing Grimtotem a bit until you get your infernal back.
End of the Risen Threat on Holy Paladin:
30+ Tries. Less tries than Feltotem for me but I still think this is the hardest one objectively. I don't even know how you would do this on other healers without all the tools (especially CC) that HPal has available. Long challenge with multiple phases where a mistake can send you back to the start really fast. The first phase is definitely the toughest which does make the whole challenge a lot more reasonable than if they put it at the end. You still have to go through it every time to practice the later phases and you should expect to wipe there a few times before you get another passing try. The mobs just do insane damage with their abilities and you need to CC them in exactly the right order and at the right points or you will just instantly fail if the Scouts get their knife dance off for example. The parts that come after the first phase are fine honestly, especially the last fight wasn't as tough as I expected it to be. It does need good damage and space management tho if you don't wanna run out of room so wait for drums to reset after the first part and try to bait the puddles while standing in another puddle to save some space.
Overall I finished this Achievement in around a week of gaming or about 15-16hrs of total time (including reading up on the challenges but not leveling classes for it obviously). I did not try all classes for every challenge but I can recommend all of these that I listed except for Destro Lock on Grimtotem. For that one you should maybe try a class with more instant CC.

The mage tower challenges seem to be very overtuned since the The War Within pre-patch launched. I was close to completing "Closing the Eye" and "The God-Queen's Fury" on the day before the pre-patch. But now with the new patch live the same challenges are much more brutal.
Has anyone had any luck in completing these challenges after the pre-patch hit?

For anyone attempting this right now, use
Feast of the Midnight Masquerade
. This item appears to not be scaled properly and is giving very very large amounts of primary stat inside the mage tower
if you eat it outside before you enter.
They'll probably nerf it soon so make use of this as soon as you can!

As someone who has never had a clue about what the Mage Tower is (didn't do it in Legion) and just wants a cool spellbook mount for my mage, this achievement seems literally impossible.
I know the whole point is to be an exceptionally challenging feat, but Odin help me. The number of attempts people have done on not just their normal toons but
min-maxed characters
with full enchants and macro'd up to high heaven makes me think I'm never going to be able to complete this.

Here’s a report from someone who completed 6 out of the 7 Mage Tower challenges on Patch 11.0.2.
The only one I didn’t do in 11.0.2 was The Highlord's Return, which I completed during Shadowlands for the Druid form. Initially, I aimed to do all 7, but after 150+ attempts on that one, I decided to postpone that plan.
The other 6 challenges were done between September 27 and September 29, 2024. I’ll go into more detail on each below. Please note, I had minimal knowledge of most of these classes and had to "learn" them for these challenges.
During that time, I could still get the +450ish primary stat from the Masquerade Feast before going in, which helped a lot. Not sure if that will get changed, but it was a significant boost.

End of the Risen Threat
I did this as a Resto Shaman (level 80) with the Totemic Talent setup (maybe Farseer is better). It took me 5 attempts in total. The first and second phase are pretty straight forward, just dispel
Mana Sting
instantly and don’t kill more than 1 Eye at a time, make sure to keep yourself topped off when fighting the Eyes. The key to success was using cooldowns to handle the waves of spirits at the end. Here’s what worked for me: Spamming
Healing Surge
with
Tidal Waves
with the following buffs on each wave: 2-4 casts on each spirit should be enough
Use
Bloodlust
on the first wave.
Drop
Healing Stream Totem
on the second wave.
On the third wave, pop
Ascendance
and
Ancestral Guidance
.
Other than that, just watch your health, stand in the green goo to keep it low before the dot expires, keep team healed and stand just outside the green goo when he jump at you. Also, if you have
Ancestral Awakening
talented, you might heal yourself when you don't mean to, be mindful or take the talent away.

An Impossible Foe
I initially tried this as Elemental Shaman, but it wasn’t working for me – I wasn’t familiar with the spec and couldn’t deal with the adds effectively. I switched to a Fury Warrior (level 80 Slayer), and it was a breeze!
Save
Odyn's Fury
for the 3-4 adds that spawn.
Use
Shockwave
and/or
Bladestorm
for the two bigger channeling adds.
I was able to kill the small add that drops the green goo before they could get the cast off which helped to have one less thing to worry about
It took me about 3 tries on Fury Warrior, I got hit by boulders on the first couple of tries!

Thwarting the Twins
I completed this as a Balance Druid (level 80) with Fury of Elune Hero Talents and managed to finish it in 3-5 tries. The key here was using cooldowns efficiently:
Solar Beam
and DoTs on the first hand as soon as it spawns. (maybe 1-2
Starsurge
if needed)
For the second add, I sent
Force of Nature
+ DoTs, and it worked great. (same here: maybe 1-2
Starsurge
if needed)
Wild Mushrooms
,
Starfall
, and
Sunfire
wiped out the small adds.
Just kite, DoT everything, use CDs and focus on the mage in the middle when he becomes attackable.

Closing the Eye
I did this as a Havoc Demon Hunter (level 80 Fel-Scarred), and it took me about 30 attempts. I kept dying on Frost Phase 1 or Intermission. Here’s what helped me:
Phase 1:
Use all CDs except drums at the start.
Double Jump + Fel Rush
through the frost shards.
Don’t press "W"
until you have
Fel Rush
ed away as this was making me hit the frost shards and die.
Sometimes I would add a cast of
Glaive Tempest
before the Double Jump to kill some shards that would drop a lot of orbs that would heal me back to full instantly as I
Fel Rush
’ed away.
Try to always drag him to the middle of the room to make it easier to get to him and to make Intermission easier.
Intermission:
His location shows up on the mini map! Turn your back to him on the minimap, and use
Vengeful Retreat
, quickly turn to him and then
Fel Rush, Fel Rush
and
Metamorphosis
for the final jump if needed (try to save Metamorphosis for a potential second intermission
Killing shades to use their protection didn’t work well for me.
Arcane Phase:
Save your interrupts for
Draw Energy
.
Fel Rush
to him when he teleports. Stuns and interrupts are essential here as
Arcane Barrage
hurts a lot.
Phase 2:
Save
Eye Beam
for the adds and burn the boss using drums and all DPS cooldowns.
When the debuff comes, run away from the boss, deal with the adds:
Chaos Nova, Throw Glaive
to slow them down,
Eye Beam
should be pretty much enough to kill them, finish them off. Go back to the edge of room, and keep repeating the cycle.

The God-Queen's Fury
I tackled this as an Enhancement Shaman (level 80, Stormbringer build) and it took me about 30 tries. Initially, I knew nothing about the spec and had to practice on DPS dummies to get the rotation down. Key tips:
Keep the bosses grouped up for cleaving as much as possible
Make a Macro to
Hex
Sigryn, and a macro to
Wind Shear
Runeseer.
The fight has a lot of overlapping mechanics, so using DBM or WeakAuras to track the timers made things easier.
With the timers in hand, ALWAYS be prepared for the next thing coming (or 2-3 things as they overlap sometimes). Plan ahead!
When you see
Blood of the Father
coming, start casting
Hex
1 second before the timer – the goal is to have Hex (or Capacitor Totem) interrupt the cast (I used Hex).
IF the cast goes off, Hex will stop the damage while Sigryn is hexed, but if she pops, the damage starts pulsing again – you should be able to capacitor totem to get a few more seconds and maybe
Stone Bulwark + Astral Shift
to survive, but it’s not ideal.
When
Ancestral Knowledge
is close to happen, try to save
Maelstrom Weapon
and
Tempest
procs, along with
Spirit Wolves
, to burn through the shield quickly—then interrupt.
Use
Ghost Wolf
to trigger runes quickly, sometimes you will have to burst 1-2 runes, cast hex on Sigryn and then dispel the remaining runes – it’s fine - you have time!
Avoid
Dark Wings
! Drop
Earthbind Totem
when Berserker Rage is active to slow the boss.

Feltotem's Fall
I initially tried this as a BM Hunter Level 80 (tried both Packleader and Dark Ranger) and wasn’t making progress (sustainability issues and low DPS – likely because I don’t know the spec very well). So I switched to my Disc Priest (level 70, no Hero talents) and got it done in 8 tries.
Keep
Fel Shock
dispelled! I made a weak aura to show me I had the debuff
Fel Shock
(spell id = 242730) – the weak aura literally took half of my screen to remind me to dispel immediately.
Use
Psychic Scream
to interrupt every other
Fel Burst
, and
Power Word: Shield + Desperate Prayer
or
Rapture
or
Pain Suppression
for when
Psychic Scream
is on cooldown
Don’t be casting when
Sonic Scream
is coming! Use this time to

at 20 stacks to clear eggs and worms, followed by more

Make a macro to quickly target the Totems and

Positioning is crucial:
Once
Earthquake
finishes, position yourself near the rocks for the worm's charge. With a bit of luck and good positioning, one charge can break all 3 rocks.
When the worm is at around 2-3 scales, start DPS’ing the worm when it’s up.
Kill both together! When one dies, the other enrages.
