Do y'all remember when people could actually discuss these kinds of responses without it turning into a bunch of whining, blaming, finger-pointing and general overwhelming negativity? Yeah, me either. And before anyone bothers with the reply button, I've just had a lousy day and wanted to vent my frustrations. I don't care what your or 'the community's reasons are for all of this. I just wish it would stop. I'm so tired of it.
There is nothing brave about talking to the community and clear things about. He is doing his job and again that's nothing brave in it.What he said in the AMA is the same things he said over and over and over and over and over again since.....forever.You'd notice that if you'd understand what he said and not just browse through the text like most of you seem to do.The Shaman situation has been brought up atleast 4 times in the past 5 Q&A sessions and , now , this AMA.Shamans are in the same situation ,afaik since WoD and they kept saying the same thing they said now.Simply put they dont know what to do with the class. They have an idea but they dont know what to do and polish it.Furthermore , azerite armor is a total disaster. If you have not noticed when they say X thing "have not played the way they thought" it means they $%^&ed it up and they try to fix it "somehow" but that "somehow" if you are a veteran means "you'll just have to deal with it this expansion".BFA feels very unpolished.Vol'dun feels like a trash can because they clearly wanted to do something bigger with it but they couldnt finish in time so what was not fitting with what they had at the moment ended up as a side quest and the whole zone felt like @#$% from the questing perspective. As proof they didnt finish Vol'dun compare it to Nazmir.Nazmir clearly was polished and well-done and no left-over narative and what is a side-quest feels like a side-quest.The same goes with Zuldazar but the thing with Zuldazar is that the Capital being as big as it is it feels like a choker rather than a point where you can easily get through to reach the other side of the zone.About the Zandalari Paladins if they want to , they can.Rezan being dead is not an excuse.I mean look at Taurens "Sunwalkers".If I've havent heard a bigger joke than this in a long time.We will have Vol'jin as a Loa and if Ion wanted Horde to have a 3rd race Paladin , it will happen.Frankly , I want a 3rd race being I dont like Blood Elves nor Taurens as Paladins.Meanwhile......Alliance have so many Paladin races that........it hurts.Ignore what's under this tab.....it's just me ranting how .....they can add a 3rd race but they choose not to.Let me see where we are on the Shaman,Druid ,Paladin scale....Horde: 2 Paladin races , 4 Druid races(Zandalari Trolls Included) , 6 Shaman races(Zandalari Included)Alliance: 5 Paladin races , 3 Druid races (KT humans included) , 4 Shaman races(KT Humans included)Let me list them:Horde Paladin races : Blood Elf , TaurenAlliance Paladin races : Human , Draenei , Dwarf , LF Draenei , Dark Iron DwarfHorde Shaman races : Orc,Mag'har Orc , Darkspear Troll , Tauren , Goblin , Zandalari TrollAlliance Shaman races : Dwarf , Draenei , Dark Iron Dwarf , KT Human.
Why is it brave to front up nowadays? Well, in olden days someone who works massively hard to produce something, which overall is amazing, would earn respect and be treated politely by a bunch of kids who have had no more responsibility in their lives than tying up their shoelaces. That said, for shaman at least, politeness hasn’t helped. The people from storm, earth and lava wrote a polite, detailed and coherent post setting out the problems in Beta. They were ignored. The maelstrom generation increase introduced days before the launch was the only thing that made the class remotely playable. I agree overall that different classes should have different strengths, but when those strengths barely exceed some classes, but your weak spots put you massively below others it is a problem. There is bm in my guild who is 5 ilvl below me who sims higher on patchwerk. Ty adding movement to that and see how we compare. When I put down liquid magma totem, storm keeper I can just about compete with a demon hunter. The next pack, I’m below the tank in dps.Small wonder all those major community theory crafters have left shamans. Slander man being just the latest in a long procession.Bloodlust is not benefit when drums exist. I have enjoyed the greater amount of purgable abilities and the return of tremor totem, but as noted above, all you get is complaints about your dps (if you are ever taken in the first place). Not a what a fantastic purge that was, or how much the group dps I higher by ignoring every other fear on rezan.
So, we didn't work normally on BfA, we just wanted your money. We know there are a lot of problems but we will star working on them when we will need more money. Everything in this expansion is new and it dosen't work like we would whant to, but... we don't care.
All the reputation problems He described can be solved by the Pandaria approach. If you enjoy grinding rep, simply dont buy the speedup. Otherwise you can be 50% faster.
easy fix for sanguincell is basicly either make craftables for all professions to use them OR let us use them as currency to buy other matts with like the bloods in legion. i have 25 on my sham thats an engy/alchemist and they are just filling up bag space.and im not impressed with the whole ele shams aint ment to move argument. thats just a massive cop out. give us back SWG but shorten the duration of it etc.
i can't believe no one asked when we get the Ztrolls :Oonly thing that actually matters
Oh great. They're thinking of adding ways to get Hydrocore, just as I gave up all crafting professions because of it. *Sigh*
"I know we have a history of endless final tiers, but I genuinely don't think what happened with Siege of Orgrimmar or Tanaan/HFC were acceptable, as a player or as a developer."This is the main reason why I'm glad Ion is leading WoW. I came to WoW from a game that was and still is content starved. It sucks way more than having systems or events that you don't happen to like or dealing with some extra bugs.
They removed all warlock questions. I laugh on Blizzard now how they are trying to hide issues about warlocks.
