I don't understand WHY every bloody time they come up with something to make alts easier, and then come next expac, they toss EVERYTHING out the window. The game already has at least 2 decent solutions for the problem of extended grinds on alts.Eg. Pandaria - "grind rep fully once, buy commendation, get extra rep". All they need to do to protect the immersion of those that DON'T want acceleration, is to simply make commendations BoA and required to use per character and rep instead of them being BoP and activating account wide.Legion system, of BoA badges that can be earned and sent to an alt if the toon is exalted already, also worked - but no, they had to remove it. Commendations now just are wasted if you do a quest or mission that grants them, on a toon that's exalted already.
How professional of Ion to show concern and to treat the customers with respect.Ion, perhaps a key issue you can consider is that this ethos does not flow down from you to the customer interface. In particular, most GMs simply don't even bother to read tickets, and never respond in a sympathetic way. Please look into Pet Tokens. I full understand that you want a new currency for new pets. But it is unreasonable to make the old tokens worthless. Please let us continue to buy the upgrade stones and so on with old tokens. Many players have hoarded them for a reason. To simply put out a post with short time frame saying "spend your tokens now or lose them" is not fair or reasonable. Are you really saying that if players don't spend time trawling through the posts then they miss out ?Thank you for your efforts.
Ive played dozens of mmos in my many many years of being a gamer my first game was pong back before atari and my first computer was a tandy..... Let me tell you as someone who has beta tested and even helped program things there is no modern games that are released bug free. The people who play todays games and complain about bugs and other issues but who dont submit detailed bug reports are kinda part of the problem. Sure loads of games were released 30 or so years ago but the bigger your program the bigger bugs youll find. Wow is at 40 gig today. 30 years ago it would take a large watehouse for that much data. You really cant compare a game measured is kilobytes with a game that is measured us gigabytes. If all you want to do is complain about your problems and not help fix them you are a toxic person and need to move along.
Also this was typed on a cellphone not my pc as im at work i just posted it to inform people who are nostalgic why games seemed to have less issues 30 years ago..also just to give you something to chew on about bugs look up e.t. for atari

WoW is not a charity.I don't need to be grateful for anything; they're not doing anything out of the goodness of their hearts. They want a profit of MONEY and I am giving them MONEY for a good experience. If I'm not having a good experience, then I wont give them MONEY, which is something they want to avoid because they want MONEY.Please read and re-read this as many times as it takes to stop yakking about gratitude. It's insulting to think that I should be here hat-in-hand begging for scraps of information from a multi-million dollar, multi-national company. They are getting LAZY again and they have NO EXCUSES for a multitude of poor decisions. When people say "white knight" they don't mean just anybody who has something positive to say. There's lots of great things about BFA. They're talking about the people at the start of this comment section foaming at the mouth with praise for Ion doing self-serving damage control. Stop being ridiculous.
