I wish they would make this an option feature and not just a potion, it would make it nice for those that want it but also give others a choice to leave it off completely

I bet this is just a test, to see how we react to it and then implement it 24/7.
Would it be such a problematic thing to add the darker night option as a feature in the settings? Players that want darker nights can toggle it on and players who do not can leave it off. More options for players to personalize their version of World of Warcraft is almost always a good thing.
Not only does it look great in the Warlock order hall, it looks great in raids, like on Cenarius.
The Night effect from potion should really be made into a graphics option. It looks super cool and adds much more realistic feel to the game.
Maybe they'll make another DMF boss we can beat up for it ;)
Why don't they just implement actual night times? Also, weather that has an effect on the player would be really cool too like you get sick if you stay out in the rain too long. :)
I'm nitpicking but the light from the SW harbor lighthouse either needs a new bulb or they need to turn that up a notch or five.None the less I'm buying a few cases of the stuff, it looks great.
There is a blocked cave at the new Darkmoon area, but mages can Blink in.
Suramar City is absolutely gorgeous at night -- which is a small consolation for how horrible a place it is to quest in. :DIt also inspired me to take out my more vibrantly colored mounts and pets, and gave me a whole new appreciation for the detail that went into them. Some of them I didn't realize had lights on them until now. This is honestly one of the best additions to the game in recent years, and I really hope they find a way to make it more than a temporary buff. Beautiful work.
Let me just say WOW ...I just drank Inky Black Potion and went into The Firelands Raid ........ya gotta do it is all I am saying FABULOUS !
Wow...just wow! Pandaria was especially amazing. If you didn't watch the whole thing, at least scan for the Pandaria shots — the Vale of Eternal Blossoms and the Dread Wastes — Unbelievable! Of course Suramar City was gorgeous, too.
For some reason "WHEE!" is removed when I enter the Broken Isles. The hat still stays, though.Never mind, it works now.
Bought a bunch of Inky Black Potion and tried one out in Elwynn Forest. Completely awesome and I hope it becomes a permanent night-time feature in the future. I have only two suggestions: Way too many stars in the sky (maybe I've lived in a city for too long but there were so many stars it looked unrealistic to me), and the ground could be darkened a bit more (looks nearly as bright as a road lined with streetlights, despite being in the middle of a forest).
