Oh my god that potion better not be a joke
It's real, I just bought heaps of it. Good for immersion in nighttime RP :)
wow, too bad toys don't have that kind of durationI'll be stocking up
Now they have no excuse for not enforcing this effect at night!
Someone on Reddit posted pictures of Skyhold at night:http://imgur.com/a/GurSDFirst time in a long time that WoW has felt genuinely magical. It's sad that the existence of this potion pretty much guarantees that a real night mode will never be reintroduced into the game. Why not make it so that people can toggle light-night and dark-night in the display settings? You apparently have the technology to change world lighting from one player to the next.I'm constantly impressed by how iterative the Darkmoon Faire has been since it was introduced ...while at the same time people on Azeroth act like Vol'jin & Varian are still alive, I have to turn in quests to Garrosh Hellscream, and Blood Elves still tell me to "Remember the Sunwell!". =/
A toy would be nice to toggle night on and off or just make it an option in the settings.
This is going to come handy when I take pictures of specific transmogs :D
Anyone know if that Zepplin that was datamined is available somewhere in this month's DMF?
I'm a little surprised the potion just didn't end up as a toy.
This is the greatest consumable in the entire history of warcraft.
Love those prints!
Darkmoon Top Hat and WHEE! actually do seem to stack, although it will only display one of the buffs at a time, when you have them on you.Just today I used them to grind Emperor Shaohao reputation. I got the WHEE! buff and hurried myself to the timeless isle, and when I had arrived I used my Darkmoon Top Hat. Replacing the WHEE! buff on my buffbar or what to call it. Although as I began killing mobs I noticed that the elites, that usually give 10 reputation actually now gave me 12 reputation. A 20% increase even though Darkmoon Top Hat only gives me a 10% increase.Edit: Actually. Scratch that. They don't stack, but It seems they're just both broken and each give 20% increase. Atleast that's what I am seeing
Didn't stack for me. Turning in for the Broken Shore building construction only gave me 165 reputations.
This really, really needs to be a graphic option instead of a potion. As well as those vanilla WoW weather effects. It looks so frigging amazing <3
Regarding the night effect... *puts on tinfoil hat*There's always been a lot of speculation regarding the Darkmoon Faire being run by followers of the Old Gods due to a lot of the shared symbolism with their logos and colors. This night effect could be both a beta test for a new lighting effect in the next expansion (highly rumored to be Old Gods related) and a subtle hint that lore conspiracy theorists are on the right track.
I really wish that nighttime could just be better and darker but having a nice dark night on demand is nice too. I miss dark nights, felt more mysterious and dangerous. Sometimes the way they color corrected and lightened things up took a lot of mood out of places and I miss that.
