I got this to drop in Arathi Highlands from the Syndicates in Northfold Manor. When I buffed blessing of Might it turned into Divine Prayer Bead - Use 3 prayer beads to make a rosary. I was also able to find a new ghost in Stromgarde Keep behind the Fence near where you buy the First Aid Book. He asks for his rosary. I believe this to be the target of the turn in!

Killed about 100 mobs, several bead II and III, but no I. Both across Witherbark Village, Boulder'gor and Northfold Manor.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Edit: Dropped eventually in Northfold Manor. Seems to simply be extremely rng.

I think this is supposed to be the rarest of the 3 beads, but the current drop rate is attrocious and needs to be adjusted. I shouldn't take hours and hours of farming mobs to get this. I'm currently 2 hours into killing as many humanoid mobs as i can and still haven't seen it. Will try again tomorrow.

You might have to cast Blessing of Might in combat for it to work.

These Tarnished Prayer Beads (Tarnished Prayer Bead I, Tarnished Prayer Bead II and Tarnished Prayer Bead III) drop from assorted mobs in Arathi Highlands and are used to get the Paladin belt slot rune Rune of Piety that gives you Enlightened Judgements.

REQUIREMENTS

You can complete this quest at any level but you must have the following 4 spells;

Blessing of Might
Divine Shield
Seal of Justice
Judgement

Once you have collected all 3 Tarnished Beads, they need to be converted into Divine Prayer Bead I, Divine Prayer Bead II and Divine Prayer Bead III. You do this as follows;

Tarnished Prayer Bead I into> Divine Prayer Bead I - While in combat, cast Blessing of Might and then kill an enemy.

Tarnished Prayer Bead II into> Divine Prayer Bead II - While in combat, with less than 10% health, cast Divine Shield

Tarnished Prayer Bead III into> Divine Prayer Bead III - While in combat, cast Seal of Justice and then cast Judgement AS THE MOB IS RUNNING AWAY. Judging the enemy before they run will not work.

Once you have all 3 Divine Prayer Beads, right click on one and combine them into a Rosary of the Light. This can then be handed into Brother Atticus who is in Stromgarde Keep in the Arathi Highlands. Once handed in, you will receive the Rune of Piety.

To reach Brother Atticus, go into Stromgarde Keep and turn right, into the Alliance/friendly side. Follow the path around to the right, over the bridge towards the first aid book vendor. Run past the vendor and to the right of the chapel in front of you. Follow the path leftwards all the way around chapel and back onto yourself. You should now see a graveyard. Brother Atticus is at the very end.

I got a fair bit of the prayer beads while farming the kobolds near Hammerfall, sometimes even multiples of ones I had.

If you do this at 50 and can't seem get it, you need to kill mobs that actually give XP. Don't waste 2 hours pulling your hair out trying to understand wtf is going on

For people that are trying to do it afer 45 where most of the mobs are grey... At 46 had to go to the elite ogres at Stormgarde Keep to the left. They drop all and really fast

In case anyone is wondering why their Tarnished Prayer Bead I isn't changing to Divine Prayer Bead I despite following the instructions, if you are in a group, leave it. It must be done completely solo, otherwise nothing will happen.
