This quest is similar to quests found in the Argent Tournament.

It looks like this will take about 3 days worth of dailies to complete.

Am I understanding this correctly? A player will not be able to actually get to the Firelands until the completion of the dailies on the 3rd day?

I, too, have 12 marks today, and I am not able to use the portal to the Firelands.

Lol. My mother always warned me against eating the whole carton of ice cream in one sitting. And back then they were a true half-gallon.
Just enjoy the new content for what it is and do your other things you do like work your alts. It will all come soon enough.

I think they did it this way so that we could not get far ahead of the EU servers they get patch 4.2 on Wednesday! so Thursday we can all pile in & crash the zone! :D

Btw do you get to keep the 20 marks u spend or do they get used in the quest and u dont haz them anymoar?

They did the 3 day period so everyone is not doing the same quests and qqing person "A" stole my kill and person "B" ganked me while AoE grinding out the last 4 kills of quest "Z". I think Blizz rather explain that then the rules of PVE which everyone should know by now...

It might not be obvious, but completing this quest will set your Marks back to 0.
Edit: Hint, I know this for a fact because I did it. But the chain to unlock and complete the next area will net you with 25 Marks on the same day. You lose some, you gain more, it's all good.

completed this quest on my main today
and started with an alt took the 2 dailies completed them and then took this quest and could immediately turn it in, is this some kind of bug or working as intended? (or was I just very lucky?)

I am not sure how but today i did the quests on my hunter and got to the firelands through the portal fine in one day. then i did it on my pally and only got 12 marks..... very strange and annoying!

My friends just passed the first stage directly today. Looks like a neft hotfix, ppl can now go directly to firelands. So ppl the old phase 2 is now phase 1.

I had trouble turning in this quest: I had my 20 Marks, but could not find the Arch Druid atop the hill at the coords given on the map above.

found him at the Sanctuary of Malorne (27.1, 62.8).

I cannot seem to figure how to do this.. I have this quest open but its the only one and it gives me no details on how to obtain the 2o marks. Does anyone know how I do this or where I go ? Sorry I know I sound like a noob.. its cause I pretty much am one :X Thank you for your help :)

This quest is not available until completing the Guardians of Hyjal: Call of the Ancients quest chain.

Upon turning in this quest, you will lose 20 Marks of the World Tree. This is "working as intended".
