Goodbye BFA Unholy DK exponential damage.
The answer is 42.Oh, wait. I thought it was a test.Damn. I play video games to get away from complex math.EDIT: Nobody seem to get my joke, maybe it wasn't as clever as I thought it was xD
Well. In general - Goodbye BFA
They still do stupid amounts of damage, it's just linear now. The problem is everyone now does less aoe damage so unholy is still ahead on that one. Oops.
Or you can be a WW monk and get both caps on Fist of Fury! Its fun! :(
Does this improve the player experience? No.Which means it should not be implemented.
I swear blizzard tried slowing the game down once in the last 15 years I'm not sure they'll succeed for the whole xpack but i guess it would work for at least the beginning lol
Except for assasination rogue, which doesn't have cap. Please fix that blizzard
this will make farming old raids a nightmare for some classes. for example on the way to fankriss in aq40. everyone knows THE bug tunnel to him. how many mobs are there? like 200? am i then supposed to swipe for 40 gcds i.e. 1 minute to clear irrelevant mobs? i guess i live with those caps in current content i.e. shadowlands but for legacy content it should be uncapped
Pretty soon we are going to need a PhD in Mathematics with an specialization in Quantum Computing in order to be competitive in this game... =/

Remove target caps.
Totally agree! Additionally this hopefully means more variety in compositions because the melee cleave is no longer as effective as it currently is. Maybe granting the casters a greater opportunity to participate in M+ content and not only the mages ;) .
The game have become far too brainless with pull and mass aoe, then move on to next pack.
an example: target capping sounds like what fury warrior did since the start of legion, with https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/spell=257019/meat-cleaver (there were exceptions, i know, that have no caps like dragon roar and bladestorm)... even now in bfa they are strong, but not the best!Setting a cap to most spells and abilities sound strange, but a good decision. We will see how it feels when the whole player base will go into SL, but now it is something set in stone and won't be changed until next expantion.
