would love to have shorter raids again and than maybe a small extra raid in the x.x.5 patches, like crucible in bfa.make the main raid around 7-8 bosses instead.
Well the majority of the problems mentioned are RWF problems. Considering this race is unofficial and raids are meant to last... They mostly complain about tier and loot. It was never meant to have bis week one, they simply insanely tryhard this and got overburnt.
Good idea, listen to RWF top 5 - 10% of players when making a raid and see how much longer things last; what with several top guilds quitting the raiding scene already. It's one thing to just ask their opinions, it's another to use their opinions. As long as Blizz dont take their opinions as the running ideas of next content, we should be fine.
Just make RWF on a seperate Server like the MDI, nothing mentioned up there is important for the other 99.9% of the player base. For us Casual Andys: Raid was and is way to hard. Second Raid in a row where most ppl dont even get curve because Endbosses are such a mess. Tier Crafting should have been a thing from day 1.Double Leggo should have been a thing from day 1.11 Bosses is way too much, even 10 is.Let People trade Tier Tokens freely.Stop putting so much trash into raids.Make Weekly Reward for Raid AND m+ 1,3,6.And most important:MAKE EVERYTHING ACCOUNT WIDE, KSM, all Reputation, All Achievments, NO ONE EVER liked it to repeat #$%^ on alts, we play them to jump right into the action.
I think Jailer was my least fave, due to the random RNG of where you land, from the pillars, our raid wiped alot because of being shot into a hole, from landing or yeeted off the edge
I share others' feeling, this article is mostly about RWF, not the general opinion of players about Sepulcher.I agree RWF should happen on a separate server, and provides guilds with everything they need to make RWF interesting without needing splits, buys of BOE etc. I mean guilds can't complain that RWF costs too much, and at the same time not wanting ways to make RWF easier to access AND to watch (or guilds complain but yet they get an advantage from the boosts they "have to" do to have enough money to do RWF -dare I say real money?- and they don't want a separate server). On a side note, I find it quite strange that guilds don't really care about curve with this raid, it's weird that the Jailer loot table isn't engaging enough to make guilds commit to get the kill, and just prefer to go MM. Lastly, I do agree that if the raid was cut in 2 to have a separate raid a few months later with the last 3 bosses (or maybe a 4th when you enter the raid) could be a good idea to keep players in the long run.
A lot of stuff talked about here just isn't relevant for most of the playerbase, would love to see an interview like this with a regular guild just to compare. Really not sure why Blizzard keeps taking such a small amount of players into account when it comes to designing their game.RWF saw more hotfixes in a week than some patches over their full duration.
For most players the raid is overtuned and barely anything drops, not worth the time and effort when m+ is so rewarding.
Unpopular opinion, I hate Halondrus ( the ptr version was better) and I like the Pantheon fight.
Guys, you want Blizzard to stop designing raids for RWF? Then stop watching the RWF. That's it.Just let that race die so we can focus on the game as it is and not a competition.
Personally Halondrus and Rygelon was the worst boss. You get punished for single mistake made by others. There is no actual team work you can't cover for others. Someone make one mistake and you wipe. It's really lazy game design. Top guild loves it because it differentiate them from others. But average joes like me it feels annoying and feels waste of time. I don't want raid to be designed for RWF.
Hot take, and I understand some people might disagree with this...Everyone saying Blizzard is listening to RWF-level guilds is wrong. Blizzard's repeatedly stated that they aren't balancing around them, and from its looks? They aren't. Blizzard's trying to create a fun, interesting game, and it actually takes up your time. With that being said, this is a WoWhead Article, not a Blizzard forum feedback thread. On the actual article, it's interesting to see their outlook on this. I don't know if BDGG released their figures for gold spent on RWF, but if it's in the ballpark of any of the other guilds, they've got a lot of carries to do. It's also sort've one of the more unhealthy things about RWF, spending tens of thousands of dollars (the equivalent) on the race to get tier sets, and then having to pay it back. Even if it's 10 or 20mil gold for a full mythic carry, and they do say 4 mythic carries/carry 4 people a week, 40-80mil out of... I'd guess 300mill still takes a few weeks. I'm glad to see that the guys from BDGG agree about this tier having too many bosses though.
