These drakes share the look of Alexstrasza the life-binder. They have huge jeweled horns and a unique look. This one will be a 100% drop from Deathwing HC.

This one of the new drake mounts is the one with original Alexstrasza's coloring. It's got red skin, golden eyes, purple markings and saddle and golden adorns (bracelets, horn-rings and saddle details)

The other two are:
Redini dell'Araldo del Crepuscolo - purple drake with blue eyes and markings, black saddle and copper (?) adorns (and a bit of a 'twilighted' feel to it)
Redini del Draco Fiammeggiante - orange drake with green eyes and markings, yellow saddle and silver adorns (for me the least appealing of the three)

Can't wait to see them all in-game :D

Reins of the Blazing Drake will drop from Madness of Deathwing on normal and heroic modes (rare)
Life-Binder's Handmaiden is the heroic mode drop ~~(100%)~~ - not anymore since Mists of Pandaria, drop rate has been lowered to be around 1-3%
Reins of the Twilight Harbinger is the reward for Dragon Soul meta achievement

Holy !@#$! She is gorgeous! From beautiful colors, in which it's similar to Alexstrazsa, to the beautiful twisted horns, which was lacking on the head of a dragons in Lich King addon.

I want to get this mount so badly. If it's a 100% drop rate on Heroic, then how come I haven't seen anyone with it yet? And also, will we be rolling for it like in a Dungeon?

Just to confirm that on 25-man heroic, you can get two of these PLUS a Reins of the Blazing Drake in the same loot; giving you three mounts from one kill.

oh - I wanted Blazing drake like hell - when i got him I was so happy...

..and now i figure out that there is something even more gorgeous? Blizz damn you...
we are casual guild and have on HC only morchock, but I will kick our raidgroup as long as necessary to this

Hopefully this gorgeous drake is the start of unique (at least in colour) 100% mount drops from Heroic bosses and the end of having the most prestigeous mounts drop on normal AND be 100% from Heroic. I am not one to be petty, but I feel that Heroic mounts should mark the most prestigeous mount possible to obtain, not something that can also be farmed on normal. Am I lucky enough to get these mounts? No, hardly. I still think that not everything has to be available to the masses. Some things must stay holy and that includes 100% Heroic boss mounts.

Out of these drakes many argue that the Blazing one looks the most unique, but I dislike the colouration of that drake. The Meta one looks fantastic, but seriously...what can beat Alexstrazsa? The one flaw with this drake is that it doesn't have a dangling jewel from the lower jaw, and it doesn't have those amazing wing membranes that Alexsrazsa's got. Perhaps they'll add those to make it stand out even more?

Either way, this drake = spot on Blizzard, now continue down this road and make the 100% heroic drops stand out even more from the rest, OR follow the ICC model...one mount with a ton of lore behind it for killing on Heroic. That's the ticket!

I really hope they make this mount a really super rare drop rate, with the nerfs to dragon soul every month this mount will be so easy to aquire. Making it a really rare drop will preserve the essence ofthis beautiful mount. Similar to the mount off lich king which was a guranteed drop and then changed to a rare drop.

Heroic: Madness of Deathwing has a 100% drop rate on this mount, 25-Man drops 2 drakes, and 10-Man drops 1.

The Life-Binder's Handmaiden has two drakes with the same model they are Reins of the Blazing Drake and Reins of the Twilight Harbinger.

I got my Life-Binder's Handmaiden today, looks awesome.
